The fact is that,whether blacks or whites fat girls,most people detest them across the world.Infact, majority of fat girls in Germany hardly find life partners.Most of them felt sheepishly to blacks hand eventually if you find them disgusting, never you openly express it or act in a way to body shame them.Everyone would want to be appreciated and loved. Well, I do not think the colonial masters did but our leaders at the time who took over from them because of the African mentality and that is what they passed on to successive generations.

As at the 1960 that you mentioned, our leaders like Zik, Awolowo etc were largely in charge and with their desperation to impress the Oyibo man, it’s this kind of things that they arranged.

Seriously you're right. Sometimes when slim people travel to food rich country like Germany, USA and Netherlands from our country here,they become another men.

We inherited this from our colonial masters. Though its no more popular. All these indomie generations will see it as punishment and stress. In those days,especially during independent celebrations or the visit of governors,it became a must that we line up on the road to catch a glimpse of Mr president or governor. We were happy doing that.
