guobe:It is not wrong. Transaction should be fully acknowledged by the receiver. Bank reversal is universal. Even an email can bounce back if the receipient's host server is down. |
RenaissanceGuy:If this story of yours is not fiction, then it was the younger brother that made a report to the bank for reversal. |
guobe:So nobody confirmed that the money entered his account. It is normal for a reversal to happen after you sent money and the money did not reach the destination. |
I am a graduate and jobless too. You saying that crime seems to be the only way is pathetic. You still need capital to commit a crime. Unless you want to be a pickpocket and stand the risk of getting burnt when caught. |
Seunpapa65:Use this email winbrojeks@gmail.com. The one linked to my profile is not working. |
9mobile made me to trek in vain today Despite having submitted my NIN many years ago, I was recently barred from making use of my 9mobile line for any activity. The frustration that comes with the barring of my line was painful because I have an active data subscription. I have reached out to 9mobile through their online customer care to see if they can resolve it but they insisted I must visit any of their offices to re-register my line and link it to NIN before my line will be unbarred. The rep asked for my location, I said Aba and I was directed to 28 Okigwe road. Today, I decided to trek down to Okigwe road from Ariaria junction because of lack of funds. I have been unemployed for many years after graduating from the university. When I reached Okigwe road, I didn’t see any 9mobile office. I made sure I reached the end where the rail track is to be sure I covered the area. I turned back and started to trek back and look carefully again and saw none. I asked a keke driver that stopped to pick passengers if there is 9mobile center at Okigwe, he replied that they no longer stay at Okigwe. I decided to enter his keke to Ariaria junction because I may collapse on the way if I decided trek all the way to save my last card which is 500 naira. I paid him 200 naira when we arrived ariaria junction, went to nearby shop to buy a drink. Nutrimilk, how much? 500 naira, the seller replied. Pepsi Plastic kwanu? 300 Naira, she said. I bought the pepsi with the remaining 300 naira on me, trekked 5 mins to home. 9mobile just wasted my precious energy and money today for nothing. |

Illegal1:Na wetin patriarchy don cause. |
My mama na widow but em no dey nairaland. |
Give everyone prepaid metre. Nigerians are paying for darkness with estimated billing. If every customer has prepaid, they will load what they can afford. Some will load 500 naira to charge only their phones and it will last them for 6 months. When the purchasing power is on the decline, people will eat first before recharging enough to power their refridgerators. |
NemoDatQuod:Bros, abeg I wan do pos business. No capital |
Kobojunkie:No, na anus dem go use. |
One of the key sector we are lagging behind is in electricity. If we have enough electricity in the public grid, it will eliminate most hardships associated with the high cost of petrol and diesel used in powering generators. So fixing the power sector will have a postive multiplier effect. We can increase from 5,000 megawatts to 50,000 megawatts in four years. |
henrimoto:My main plan na POS business. But lack of capital frustrate the plan. The phone charging business may not attract much customers from my observation because of location. It would have been better at 200 naira per litre. Imagine spending 1,200 to buy 2 litres and only 4 people charged their phones for the day at 200-150 naira each. No gain. Those making it now need a large customer base. Sharpsharp00123:Steady light? You live in same location with me? |
I have been postponing to buy some clothes for myself because you have to eat well before what you wear becomes a priority. Still a jobless graduate, unable to find a job yet and unable to raise a capital to start something. My footwear is already worn-out at the heel, and the wet season is making my trekking uncomfortable because water must touch my feet if the ground is wet. I wanted to buy 2 shirts and two trousers and 1 footwear. Budget N10,000 The money wasn't enough for what I wanted. I bought 1 shirt, 1 trouser and a footwear. 1st picture: Shirt - cost N4,000 2nd picture: Jean trouser - cost N4,500 3rd picture: Rubber footwear- cost N500. I was actually happy that this footwear was cheap. 4th picture: That's the worn-out shoe. I don't know if the future will remain bleak or a positive change will come. The small tiger generator my mother raised funds for so I can start a phone charging business coincided with the date of subsidy removal. Naso we pack am for the carton because it makes no sense buying petrol at 600 naira per litre for that business. |
Life has been hard since I graduated years ago. I have been trying to secure capital to setup something, but all to no avail. I heard about a loan that government is doing, AGSMEIS loan. I was hoping that was where my breakthrough would come, but 3 years have gone, no approval. It is even painful that they made it compulsory for loan applicants to pay 15,000 naira before they can access the loan. I paid all but no feedback. This is definitely not the life I wished for myself. Late 30, single, empty bank account. |
