This was just reported by radio nigeria. for God's sake, what is happening in plateau state?

Yes that's true. and that's because in most of the northern states you wouldn't find those useless guys on the road cos they mayb no potholes or similar places to mount road blocks. lmao. . .

The reason is simple: from makurdi to cross river, then to the east and west, is where you find the worst roads in nigeria. so probably they tax the drivers to raise some funds for maintenance. if you doubt, travel from cross river to Abuja then notice the change in road network once you enter nasarawa state. who would be happy? I know you mean well, but everyone has biases, and I suspect one here. Otherwise, I don't know how anyone could think of this senate and the past one, and be asking about who is anybody's best senate president.

Nigeria is loaded down with problems, but all they sit and do in Abuja is behave like it is some advanced economy that is traveling the world in steady state. I don't need to write any letter to anybody, we all know what Nigeria's problems are. They are the ones taking the publics money, and implicitly promising better times for Nigerians. Please show me the bills dealing with Education, Electricity, Transportation, Health, etc that this senate and the past have written. They spend time allocating money without any plans.

Ken Nnamani is your best senate president, and his best achievement is that he helped put down the third term bid. In four or so years that is his achievement. kudos to him. It is a country of low expectations that is why the only thing they need is money, and nothing else, to become leaders in Nigeria.

I will thank them when they deserve to be thanked.

Bros, let's do the right thing and contribute our own quota. who knows, like aisha said, it may go a long way in bringing back the much needed development we're clamouring for. cos by then even the senators and other public servants will know that WE KNOW our rights, so they can't fool us!

There are indications that the Yar'adua's kitchen cabinet has directed the acting president Goodluck Jonathan not to use the president's sit in today's federal executive council meeting owing to the fact that president Yar'adua may attend the meeting. my question is: WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CLAUSE FROM THE SENATE THAT THE PRESIDENT WILL HAVE TO INFORM THE LAWMAKERS WHENEVER HE RETURNS AND IS FIT TO CONTINUE IN OFFICE? will he ignore the senate's directives concerning his office, what about the acting president? the story continues. . .

The ministers nominated by the federal executive council to visit president Yaradua in Saudi Arabia will commence their trip this evening. this is contrary to earlier reports in some national dailies that the first lady has made moves to stop the ministers from seeing the ailing nigerian leader. this was reported by radio nigeria. the story continues.

Vice President Goodluck Jonathan is now the acting president of nigeria. both houses of the legislature yesterday empowered him as acting president pending the full recovery and return of the president. he has since assumed office after a nationwide broadcast.
