The Calabar carnival holds on 27th december every year. It's the biggest street party in Africa. This year's carnival falls on a sunday. The state government has directed churches to close service before 12noon on sunday. Considering the fact that 90% of the people are christians and may have different doctrines in which case, they may not meet up the 12noon closure time bearing in mind that people have to go back home and change up before they join the carnival, wif no bike in town. What's your opinion on this? should it be postponed or celebrated on a sunday?
