The corner of my room started cracking little by little some 3 or 4 years ago.. now it has gotten to this level. You can hear what the person at the other end is saying sometimes. It's so scary.

Every 30 minutes, I do hear sound of small sand particles falling off. Guys how can this be fixed and how much would it cost?

The thing is that most of the people saying federal government should fix it at 615k are not considering the organised private sector and the medium scale business owners. There will be massive job losses and even many private companies will not comply. This is in addition to inflation that it will most definitely aggravate.

We should be more focused on fiscal policies that will increase the purchasing power of the naira.

Nigeria has one and only one option, go the soviet route and restructure into many viable, stable republics . Salary increments will not solve structural issues.

Let me see how many fronts Russia will fight at same time. With a crashing economy and still having to fund a war.

Am empty overhyped nation bragging military might with old outdated Soviet Union scraps, with foot poorly kitted hunters called soldiers.

Stationed along Ukrainian boarders for months like all was already planned and mapped out, only to go put up the worst Military invasion in history.

Why the saying that “empty barrels make the loudest noise”, happens to be always true.

Even if Ukraine is conquered today, Russias weakness has been exposed to the universe.

Take away nuclear warhead from them and UGM/ESN will decimate Russias military. Very wack mikitary!

So, she felt bored since she moved in from her previous base. She got not friends around and was always home. Friends has a tasking job.
So, he asked me to call her sometimes when I am free. I call and we have healthy conversations for hours. I am very cautious of any emotional strings. I spell it out to her in clever ways during the conversations.

However, it is becoming addictive. She obliges to certain things only when I ask her to even after declining her husband's suggestions. My friend is so soft and can't seem to handle a tough and educated lady like her.
So, she compares me to him few times and wants him to be like me in terms of being conversational and humurous. Her man isn't willing to change.

So, I am distancing myself away from her because it is becoming an addiction for her to express herself freely with me and spend more time with me rather than my friend. I step in each time they quarrel.

Should I continue the healthy conversation spree or continue with my busy shedule excuses?

yes, also attaining greater heights in engineering where you will just be monitoring the technologist and technician is a step by step procedure same as other discipline. A new grad of law sch can't start as a judge, u don't expect a fresh grad of medicine to start taking complex surgeries just like that, you don't expect a 16 year old footballer to win world best. So in engineering there are some phases you have to past through before you become boss that will just be monitoring and analysing problems.

There is no engineer without his/her technologist and no technologists without his/her technician

I wonder why the guy said engineers are just meant to design and carry out research.

In Nigeria, Polytechnic curriculum is exactly same as the University curriculum. Same theoretical aspect. The only difference is polytechnic has 1year IT years why the university only has 6 months or so

Engineers are scientist and so are expected to work in laboratory or workshop if there work demand that. Engineering is a team work so in the lab or workshop there will still be many technicians working with the Engineer. Engineer don't work alone as most of you postulate and not jack of all trades. This doesn't mean engineers doesn't work as technician. If the work demand working alone he can design , build , test , do analysis etc

Housing:
Engineers also do maintenance job. For that fact that Wikipedia excluded that in it's definition does not mean. It totally correct �.

c'mon bro, I'm talking engineering here, and not far work. Before you can call yourself an engineer, you must have undergone all the stages: craftsman, technician, technologist, then an engineer. As an engineer, you shouldn't be a novice in this aspects. It's a sad thing that in my country, people who haven't seen a resistor, or a contactor or a variable frequency drive before will still beat their chests and call themselves engineers. The question I ask them is " how many projects have you carried out?'

That guy was right. Check the dictionary for the meaning of the word "Engineer". You'll find out that an engineer only builds. Technicians don't build, they only maintain.
