What is the guarantee that the total removal would make any difference. No doubt, it is a good move if the priorities and structures are in place to ensure the savings are effectively used. But honestly i doubt that the government has the capacity to use it to Nigeria's benefit. They have failed in simpler things, why should it be different this time. So much mismanagement of public funds and in accountability by the government. bushdoc9919: |
For those who did their recruitment exercise today...please how did it go?... Thanks |
Good development.....but am a little confused here..does it mean they can just decide to bring it down or take it up at will?, no market forces?, no price regulation?......,and by the way, what took them sooooo long?........ #Raking in turgid profits since 1900 |
Key word here is Preparation. When you are prepared you have the confidence to answer questions, also ensure you practice by getting someone conduct mock interview for you. That way you can improve on your presentation and confidence over time. Wish you the best!!! |
I Don't think its right for anyone to talk about the president in that manner. But what do you expect from a president who's actions and words are perceived to be petit. And why is the president attracting so much critism and abuses. He's not the first president and he has started getting bashes almost from day 1. Thinking that a president that gained so much popularity and support from so many Nigerians at the 2011 elections could easily get a swift turn around treatment is kinda surprising.. If you ask me I think he let a lot of Nigerians down, and he made it so obvious, like he doesn't know what he is doing. I just wish he could live up to expectation like the chosen one as people believed....but I don't think so ![]() |
PAnaceA7:It's not a law or policy sir.Nobody gets arrested for honking. |
Henrypraise:Try Driving without a horn..you would discover how patient and courteous you can be..That is the idea here. To make everyone thread courteously, slowly, quietly and minding the activities of the other Road users.. For me, it's a welcome development as long as people oblige. |
size38:Are you a prophet or you live in the future? |
Akinsz: This man really deserve bottles of gulder beer. Barman nak am 10 bottles... Kudos... The problem with us in nigeria is that we don't ask questions. We deal issue with sentiments. Thanks boss....a Pint of Beer would do.... |
Despite the fact it is obvious that our CAN president assumes a partisan role in his dispensation, i have always been neutral on the CAN president's acts and statements. However, am not sure he can wash himself totally clean from the Jet / laundering saga. My questions 1. Why is he obviously partisan?. I think he would do better checking government excesses. 2. Is he fulfilling his role as a president of CAN or he his busy performing other none mandated roles 3. I know lot of CAN presidents in the past, they have done their tenure without controversy, why is his own different 4. Why did he lease out a jet that is for mission. can he really do that successfully without being on the opposite side of the law? 5. Of all private jets, lot of pastors and churches have private jets why is it his own that was patronized?. is there any connection between him and the government? Am beginning to think that the jet maybe used to smuggle those funds simply because its a pastors jet and can easily by pass protocol based on privileges and perceived integrity. For me he cannot completely exonerate himself. cheap explanation would not just do it. He is a leader and by virtue of tha role he is supposed to be more cautious and straight in his dealings. Anything controversial or "not so right" should be far for him. If truly he is clean as he claims. he should just stay out of trouble or atleast far from likely trouble situations. And if he is not, he should re discover himself and realign himself with the original mandate. |
Op on point... There is no way u are at a disadvantage when you get good grades. It gives you a competive edge It you finish with a 1st class, you are already a percieved genius, special preference and attention comes with it. It opens door for you..u may just need little effort to confirm to them that you have quality It gives ur helpers no excuse to sfor failing to help....all you hear this days is..."Sorry, I wud av been able to help you if u had made a 2.1" But in all the lesson to be learnt stems from certain questions...why shldnt you strive to finish as the best?, why wouldn't you want to be in forefront?, why shouldn't you strive to be excellent in all our dealings?.. To be much more useful and impactful to ourselves family and others, we need always be the best we can be and one of such ways paper and practical) is by getting the best grades we can possibly get.. #myquid |
Good for the guy on one side but on the other hand, better for the company that hired him.....The guy himself is an advert, he has brought a goodwill to the company by percieved popularity....u can expect more exposure and businesses for asoria just by this act... The company is wise enuf to print shirts and circulate it on social media..they also talked about recruiting talents that think out of the box...in other words they just hired a super star talent...who won't patronize them? |
Olyboy16: like you've been reading my mind all along..you hit the nail right on the head mate. Moreover, what keeps baffling me is that the bribe money he's going to pay those 8000 groups, are they gona come from his very own pocketDon't even try to calculate else you?.?.??. Lets take one case...Just imagine the self acclaimed independent NGO called TAN....promising to pay 50k to active members. Organizing rally's all over the country...Bill boards everywhere, TV adverts and the infestation of the social media space..you can then imagine the billions gone into it... TAN is supposed to be an NGO that promotes good governance. But it begs some simple question? - Where was TAN prior to 2013. Probably they haven't been established until the election period - An NGO that supports all the government actions. They frown at nothing the govt does. No constructive criticism or somewhat - An NGO that goes into full time campaign for a particular candidate - An NGO that claims to promote good governance using Up - downward approach..no grass root. This must be all about the presidents 2015 ambition noting more noting less For me, we need to tell ourselves the truth in this country..the presidents actions and works should speak more for him not some cosmetic approach that has no deep value...I voted, campaigned and mobilized people to vote for the president in 2011 without joining a group or associated with any group..I did it out my believe in him and in this nation. But like many others who have truly appraised this government. I have lost hope and confidence in the judgement and leadership of the president and the team..all I can do for him is to pray for him. But come 2019, I won't make same mistake twice. |
Alright...8000 support groups, from where?..what's the motivation? Why is their support so aggressive at this early stage? Who funds them?, are they truly independent of partisanship and bias,....what's the plan?... I think I know...Our President doesn't know how to come out and say he wants to run for election in 2015, So he has decided to take the back stage approach as the puppet master and pull his strings. Such that when he finally declares his intentions..He would sound like.."I did not have the intention to run, but the people of this country want me to run and that's why am running". I mean why go through a fictitious route. It makes me feel he is more concerned about how people see him rather than who he really is. I wish him all the best in his exploits but not at the expense of the progress of this great country. |
Am impressed...happy for him he got the attention needed....His creativity and ability to think outside the box would earn him good points on this. |
I thought I was the only one that noticed the presidents choice of words. I don't think its right for the president to speak like that in public no matter what... |
If the Man's testimoney is true, then the woman was sent to destroy him and all he stands for in the most excruciating manner....Although she succeded but @ the cost of her own life.. May God save him .. |
Honestly, I don't see how this words connote lack of confidence, they are in the dictionary to be applied appropriately for the use of communication.... People with confidence genuinely use these words all the time |

chiboy11: May God help us in dis Ebola situation 2finda vacine fast n urgent if not al african wil wipe out in just 3yrs , imagine if pple contact HIV tru mosquito bite ow many of we africans wil b leaving up til now,our only solution to this now is praying to God to direct som1 to come up wit a cure if not we re al gonaa.Let's pray we get the vaccine and cure asap, but saying we will wipe out in 3 years is a pessimistic and panic aproach. This same disease outbreak (ebola) and many more without cure or vaccine has been contained in the past, although at a cost. Information is everywhere on how to reduce the risk and once the infected and high risk targets are identified and quarantine, gradually the spread would be reduced and eventually contained. I pray we get the cure and vaccine asap, but for the mean time let's make do with what we have....information, hygiene, alertness, containment and the likes |
I think Ice prince is an excellent rapper, until he became a one styl man, he has killed many tracks he featured in...and I remembered his many songs before he came to lime light..Artists have always wanted him on their on their tracks. what he has done is to identify what nigerians / africans like and what sells, then go commercial with it to make name name and cash for himself. Its a game of numbers and that's why he is bagging in awards. I don't really like his rap songs anymore like I used to but am not taking anything away from him either. |

zicoraads: In as much as an evil part of me wouldn't want to empathise with them, since some of them, or maybe even all of them are kids of those who steal our monies with impunity, I wouldn't want to loose that part of me that makes me human. You tactically said your mind...but I think its those that are still hustling that send their kids to a country like ukraine...the real thieves send their children to well developed countries where the fees are high |

The girl is being foolish, selfish and gullible, Wat is it about pregnancy, Its enuf to be having sex with a stranger , not to talk of being pregnant ![]() |

Atleast 5000 out of those 8000 wil claim to have more than 20 men. Meaning atleast #3000 for each man. So 3000 x 20= 60,000 now 60,000 x 5000(and stil counting) a whole over #300,000000 naira! Jst for 5000 groups. So imagine somehow he got 50,000 groups?? Is he goin to deny them payment? there is no way this jona wont land himself into trouble one day if he is nt very careful. APC is a party filled with cunny and smart brains..
