THE BEAST
Chapter 5
Two hours passed before Dimitri came to get me again. Just like last time he took me to the same room and tied me to a chair. Five minutes passed by before I heard someone coming.
"So the number of rogue attacks has gone down?" One asked right outside the door.
"Yes. There has been an 60% decrease in rogue attacks in the past ten years."
"Interesting." A man said.
At that moment I heard someone run up before they could come inside started rambling about something.
"Slow down and start over." A woman said.
"Th.......The Beast is coming. Jen.........Jenkins told him where we are." The man panted.
"Triple the guards everywhere and kill the girl." A man said.
At that point I struggled to get free but the ropes cut into my skin. I kept struggling but nothing worked. A few seconds later man dressed in black walked in and he was holding a knife.
"I'm sorry about this." He said pulling my hair back and placing the knife against my neck.
I tried one more time and this time my right hand broke free. I reached up, grabbed the hand holding the knife, and threw my head back hitting him in the nose. He dropped the knife in my lap and stumbled back, grabbing his nose in the process. I cut my other hand free and went to cut feet free but he grabbed and jerked my hand causing me to cut myself.
I head butted him again, cut my feet free, got up, and ran out the door. I looked both ways before deciding to run down the right hallway.
I ran down hall after hall until I ran into someone. It was a woman whose face was covered in scars.
"Please help me." I cried.
She took my hand and hit the wall in a certain place which made part of the wall slide away.
She took down the dark, hidden path until we reached a room that had small TVs all over the back wall, a small bed, kitchen, living area, and a bathroom.
"You live here?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Can you speak?"
She shook her head and opened her mouth and I gasped at the sight. Her tongue was missing.
"The Council do this?"
She nodded.
"I'm so sorry."
She bandaged up my hand where I cut myself and gave my some water to drink.
"Thanks."
She smiled in response.
"Why did they do that to you?" I asked.
She grabbed a pen and a notepad and started writing. Few minutes later she handed it to me and I read it.
Forty years ago she was bought at the auction where I was supposed to be sold at meaning she's human. A vampire bought her and delivered her to the Council as a gift. From that day on they used her as a slave and a servant. They cut her tongue out so she could tell anyone what she heard during their meetings. They were told that she couldn't write or read but she can so she started keeping journals of everything that Council said and everything she witnessed. She still has a room in the basement but she also has this room where she keeps her journals.
"I'm so sorry." I said.
She smiled softly at me.
I looked at the TV screens to see that they were surveillance cameras. I saw the Council in one room, two guards posted at every entrance, and saw the room where I had just escaped from.
Ten minutes passed before I saw the doors of the room I was just bust open and a very angry looking Thaddeus walked in. He saw my blood and his eyes grew a dangerous shade of red and black mixed.
The lady got a panicked look on her face and I could tell she was scared.
"He won't hurt you." I said and she looked at me confused.
"I'm his mate and you helped me so he won't hurt you." I assured her.
She grabbed the notepad and pen and began writing again. She handed it to me and I read it.
The Council experimented on him long ago.
I was there and I saw it all. After he escaped they still had some of his blood and ever since then they've been injecting it into humans. They get the humans from the auctions every year and they keep trying to make another one of him. It won't work though. The humans just get really really sick and die. They keep talking about if they can just make another one of him and then take their blood then they can make an army of him.
"What are they gonna do with an army?"
She took the notepad from me and wrote four words.
Declare war on humans.

(Thaddeus's POV)
My fangs lengthened, my claws came out, and I felt my eyes shift colors. Seb and I went room from room looking for her. I tried to sniff her out but all I could smell was her blood and the hundreds of scents of everyone else.
We found the Council before her.
"Beast. It's so good to see you." Annalise, the wolf council member, said smiling.
"Where is she?" I growled.
"Where is who?"
"You know who." I growled.
"Not really."
I started walking towards them and I was a couple feet away when about thirty guards flooded the room.
The had their guns out and had them aimed at my head.
"It doesn't matter what we did with her." Decimus, the male vampire council member, said. "You're incapable of loving her so what's the point of having her?"
That got me but then I remembered something Seb told me a day or two ago which made me grin wickedly.
"You think I don't know that?" I asked. "I know everything about myself. I know things that you all don't know. I'll let in on a secret though."
"Let's hear it then." Decimus said.
"Everyone finds me lethal, deadly, scary, and terrifying. They find me that way because of what I am and because the main part of me is demon. That demon cares for no one but himself and me. He could happily kill every single living creature in the world and not care on bit. Now imagine what could happen if this demon actually learned to care for someone else. Someone like a certain brunette with blue eyes. Imagine what would happen if this brunette would just so happen to be the one you kidnapped."
"I imagine that he'd be pissed." Sebastian spoke up from behind me.
"Well I can tell you that he is beyond pissed." I said as I let my eyes turn to their blood red color.

Chapter 4.
I woke up on a cold concrete floor. I looked around to discover that I was in a cell.
"She's awake." Someone said.
I looked to see Dimitri standing in front of the cell.
"What am I doing here?" I asked.
"The Council wishes to speak to you." He said unlocking the door.
He walked over and tied my hands together before helping me stand up. He led me outside of the cell, down the small hallway, and up the stairs. At the top of the stairs he blindfolded me and then kept walking.
I could hear people walking past us and I could feel them staring at me. Couple minutes later I heard a door open and the a lot of voices.
"There she is." A woman said once Dimitri led me into the room.
He roughly sat me in a chair and tied to me to it before taking the blindfold off. In front of me sat about eleven people.
"What am I doing here?" I asked.
"We just wanna chat with you."
"About what?"
"The Beast."
"Why?"
"Well you see, your and his mating is forbidden. You're a human and he's......well he's himself. Crossbreeding is a big no-no in our world. We have no idea what the outcome could be. Your government has even forbidden it."
"But humans don't know about you all." I said.
"We know but it's a safety pro caution." A man said.
"What are you gonna do to me?"
"We are going to give you options. The first is that you can choose to die right here and right now. Option two is that you can move far far away and never look back."
"Why would I do either of those?"
"He's never going to love you." One woman spoke up. "He's can't. The demon is the one he listens to most and demons can't love."
"Not to mention the fact that his temper is uncontrollable and unpredictable. He could snap one day and kill you. You've heard that we captured long ago right?"
I nodded.
"Well we experimented on him. We tested to see what made him snap, what things made the demon mad, what things made the wolf mad, and what things made the vampire/man himself mad. 99% of the things we tried made them all angry. We tested to see what things could kill him because that was our first intention. We tried silver, wolfsbane, dead man's blood, burning him, cutting him, we tried anything and everything we could but non of it worked. His demon protected the wolf from the wolfsbane and the silver. The monsters inside him protected each other."
"Wouldn't tearing his heart out work?"
They all laughed at my question.
"We tried that but it wasn't beating in the first place. His heart is honestly like ice which backs up our point even more. He can't love you."
"He can learn." I said.
"That's very doubtful. Now, Dimitri is going to put you back in your cell so you can think of your options."
Dimitri blindfolded me again and took me back to my cell. I curled up on the crappy mattress and thought about everything.
He can't love me. He is can't feel or show love. All he feels is anger and hatred.
Maybe the best option is to leave.

(Thaddeus's POV)
"I'm coming with you." Seb said.
"I don't think so." I shook my head.
"Good thing I don't care what you think then." He said walking past me.
"Seb, I don't think tha-" He cut me off by holding his hand up.
"This is the first time in all of mine and yours existence that I've seen you care about someone besides me or yourself. I'm going to
help you get her back."
I sighed. "Fine."
"Great. Now where do we start looking? The Council has changed locations since the last time you were there."
"We need to find someone who knows where it is then."
We went into the nearest town as I hunted him down by scent. I walked into the building like I owned it.
"I need to speak to Mr. Jenkins." I told the lady at the front desk.
"He's upstairs in a meeting right now. Can I make you an appointment?"
"No thanks. He's expecting me." I said as Seb and I walked towards the elevator.
"Sir, you can't-" She was cut off by the elevator doors closing.
I took that time to roll up my sleeves because I didn't know how dirty it was gonna get.
The doors opened and followed his scent to the nearest door. I walked right on in to find him sitting behind his desk with his legs propped up on his desk and eating a salad.
"W-What are you doing here?" He asked when he saw me.
"You are going to give me information."
"I-I don't know a-anything."
"Oh I think you do. You are responsible for the auctions meaning you deliver half the money to the Council which means you know where they live and you're going to tell me."
"W-Why would I do that?"
I lifted him out of his chair with one hand and pinned him to the wall.
"They took my mate and I'm going to get her back so tell me where they are." I growled.
"I-If I d-do they w-will kill m-me."
"I'm going to kill you in the most horrific way I can think of if you don't tell me." I said shifting my eyes from blue to red and extending my claws.
"T-They live in a-a palace an h-hour North of here in t-the middle of the w-woods."
I dropped him on the ground and then left.
"He's going to call and warn them." Seb said.
"I know."
"They'll know you are coming."
"Won't change the outcome."
"Which is going to be what?"
"Them all dead and Davina safe in my arms."
We drove North until I picked up Dimitri's scent then we went by foot. We walked right up to a set of big iron gates being protected by six guards. I snapped their neck before they warn any others and walked right on in.
Like the gentleman I am, I knocked on the front door and waited patiently. Lucky for me, Dimitri answered the door.
"B-Beast." He said.
"Hello Dimitri. I believe you have something that belongs to me." I said.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He said starting to shake.
"Oh I think you do." I grinned pushing the door fully open.
I grabbed him by the neck and dug my claws in until they drew blood.
"Where is she?" The demon, wolf, and myself growled all at once.
"C-Courtroom." He gasped.
I twisted his neck before dropping him and going towards the courtroom. I opened the doors and marched in. I didn't know what to expect to see but what I did see made me more pissed than I've ever been.
The Councils' chairs were empty and an empty chair sat in the center of the room with blood around it that smelled exactly like Davina.

MY BEAST
Chapter 3.
"You must be Davina." A blonde said walking up to me.
"Um yeah." I said shutting the book I had been reading.
She smiled. "I'm Sephora."
"Nice to meet you."
"You to."
"May I ask what you are?"
"I'm a witch." She said sitting down beside me on the grass.
"How old are you?"
"367."
"Seriously?"
"Yep."
"You look twenty though."
"That's all thanks to the witch genes."
"That's cool."
"I guess." She shrugged. "So you're Thaddeus's mate huh?"
"Apparently so."
"He is very handsome." She said making me feel a little angry for some reason.
"Yeah, he is." I agreed.
"Sephora, are you coming?!" Another girl called from across the yard.
"Yeah!" She shouted back before getting up. "It was nice talking to you Davina."
"You to." I smiled as she ran off.
I spent the next three hours finishing the book I had started. Thaddeus's threat against anyone who came to close me must've worked because everyone except for Sephora stayed a good twenty feet away from me. I was getting some dirty looks though.
I've been here for three days and nothing is how I want it to be. The second day I was here Thaddeus was nice enough and let me go online shopping for clothes and anything else I wanted. Once I had everything picked out, he bought it and had it shipped overnight.
I sleep in his bed and he sleeps somewhere else. He makes me breakfast, lunch, and dinner and that's the only time I really see him.
Something inside me is constantly begging to be close to him. It begs for him at night when I sleep alone. It begs for him during the day when I start feeling lonely. I don't know what to do about it.
"Davina, lunch is ready." Thaddeus said from a couple feet away.
"You don't have to make it for me. I can do it myself." I said following him inside.
"I know." Was all he said.
He had made me a sandwich, some fruit, and got me a glass of water.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Sure."
"What do you do during the day?"
"Business things."
"Like what?"
"Things you need to not worry about." He said before walking off.
I finished my lunch and decided to go for a walk. I walked along a path that took me into the surrounding forest. I was about to turn around when I saw a puppy laying on the ground a few feet away. He was whimpering and crying like he had been hurt so I went to check on him.
I bent down to help him when he just vanished. I stood up quickly and looked around in a panic. There was nothing there.
"Hello." A voice said behind me.
I turned around to see a man in a suit.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Dimitri. You are Davina Winfield."
"How do you know that?"
"The Council knows everything about."
"The C-Council?"
"Yes. They look forward to meeting you."
"How did you get inside the boundary?"
"I didn't. You walked out." He said walking closer to me.
I backed up to get away only to trip over a rock and fall down. I heard someone walk up behind me and then everything went black.

(Thaddeus's POV)
"So you still have no idea how this happened?" I asked Sebastian.
"No, I don't. I'm sorry."
I sighed in frustration.
"For hundreds of years I've been told that I would never have a mate and then I find her. Something not right about it."
"I've seen her Thaddeus. She has no magic of any kind surrounding her. She didn't know we existed until the auction. She tests 100% human. It's just fate."
"I'm not that lucky Seb."
"Maybe this time you are and you pushing her away the way you are isn't gonna help anyone. I see the battle going on inside you."
"Battle? It's more like World War 3. The wolf is clawing to get out to mark her as ours. The demon, who hates every single living thing, is dying to make sure she is safe at all times. And I want to change her so she can live with us for all of eternity. It's taking everything I have to hold back."
"Maybe you should give in."
"They'd scare her half to death."
"I doubt that. I can see what's going inside you meaning I can see what's going on inside her."
"What do you see?"
"She doesn't fully understand why she is so attracted to you. She doesn't know why every part of her aches to be near you at all times it why she feels safe when you're around. She's confused but then again she accepts it all. Part of her thinks you don't want her because lately you spend all your free time with me."
"What do you suggest I do?" I asked sitting in my office chair.
"Don't question it. Go and be like all the others with their mates."
"Yeah but what if-" I was cut off by the door being slammed open.
"Sor.........Sorry to interrupt." Adrian, a wolf, said panting. "Davina, has gone missing."
"What?" I asked standing up.
"Her scent ends right outside the boundary line and its mixed with a vampires."
Seb, Adrian and me ran outside to where her scent was. I quickly scanned my surroundings but found nothing.
The wolf and the demon were no longer controllable. They both were now extremely pissed off and out for blood.
I closed my eyes, concentrated on the scents, and searched for the vampire's. When I found it they only got more pissed.
"Dimitri." I growled.
"Who is Dimitri?" Adrian asked.
"One of the Council's head guards." Seb answered.
"What does this mean?" Adrian asked.
"It means they're all f*cked." My wolf and demon growled at the exact same time..

Chapter 2 Everyone gasped in shock and grew very very pale. "Move away from my mate before I lose what little self control I have and snap your neck." The Beast growled. The auctioneer, who was now shaking, moved away from me very quickly. The Beast then looked at me and held out his hand. I don't know what possessed me to do what I did next. I reached down and placed my hand in his and he helped me off the stage. "T-The C-Council won't l-like this." The auctioneer said. "I don't give a damn about them or what they like." Beast growled. "T-They'll kill her." The man said. "I will snap all of their necks if they so much as think about hurting her." The Beast then started walking into the forest all while never letting go of my hand. I followed him quietly, not knowing if I should say anything. After ten minutes of silence I broke. "What's your name?" "You know my name." "Your real name. I'm Davina." He sighed. "Thaddeus. My name is Thaddeus." "How old are you?" "To f*cking old." He muttered. "I'm 18. Where are you taking me?" "Home." That was the last thing said for a good while. We stopped a couple times to rest but other than that we kept walking. I wasn't wearing in shoes so sometimes I stepped on sharp sticks or rocks. "Ouch." I said for the hundredth time. Thaddeus sighed, turned around, and scooped me up in the bridal position. I took that time to study his face more closely. I noticed that he had a scar above his left eyebrow and another one on his right cheek. Before too long, my eyelids started getting heavy and I could no longer hold them open and I fell asleep in Thaddeus's arms. ~~~~~~~~~~ I woke up in an extremely soft bed that smelled like Thaddeus. I looked around the room but didn't see him anywhere. The room was a decent size. The king bed sat in the middle against the back wall, a flat screen hung on the wall across from it, two nightstands, a dresser, connecting bathroom, balcony doors, and a walk-in closet. I slowly got out the bed and opened the bedroom door. I didn't hear anything so I walked down the hall and then down the steps. The first room I found was the kitchen which had three people in it. There was a man with blonde hair, a girl with black hair and red highlights, and a man with red hair. The blonde guy stuck his nose in the air and inhaled. "Human." He growled making me take a step back. "W-Where's Thaddeus?" I stuttered. "He's out right now." The girl said. "W-When will he b-be back?" "Why the questions?" The blonde guy asked stepping closer to me. He got within a couple feet of me before a loud growl emitted throughout the whole room. Seconds later a tall figure was in between me and the blonde. "Step away from her." Thaddeus growled. "What is a human doing here?" The blonde asked ignoring him. "She's my mate so I suggest you watch your tone." Thaddeus growled. "That's impossible. She's human and it's forbidden." "It still doesn't change the fact that she's mine and you are to close to her." Thaddeus growled grabbing the man by his throat. The man's feet were no longer touching the ground and he was gasping for air. Thaddeus held him there for a couple more seconds before releasing him. The man crumpled to the ground and began coughing. "If I see anyone to close to her, threatening her, scaring her, or touching her they will be punished." Thaddeus growled. "Yes, sir." The girl and other guy said at the same time. "Go tell the others." Thaddeus ordered and then they were gone. He then turned and looked at me. "Are you hungry?" He asked and I nodded. He led me further into the kitchen and ordered for me to sit so I did. "What do you want?" "What do you have?" "Sandwiches, waffles, soup, fruit, cereal..." "A ham sandwich is fine." A minute later he had made me a sandwich and seated him self across from me. "Who were they?" I asked taking a bite. "Vampire, wolf and wizard." "I'm not going to be welcome here, am I?" "Not at first but you will be soon." After I finished he said he was going to show me around the territory. The second I stepped outside all eyes were on me. Some people growled, some glared, some smiled, and some just ignored me. Thaddeus growled one good time causing them all to look away. He showed me the territory boundaries that I'm never allowed to cross unless he is with me. "Why can't I leave?" "You're human and my mate. It is forbidden for us to be together yet the fates paired us together. The whole territory is covered by a boundary spell that was placed by one of the greatest witches and the greater wizard to ever exist. Other supernatural beings can't cross over unless invited by me. If you cross this line without me then you could be taken. I refuse to let anything happen to you." He explained. "Are the stories people tell about you true?" "Which ones?" "All of them." He sighed. "Yes, I have killed a lot of people. Yes, I have destroyed packs and clans. No, I have not killed children." "Everyone that lives here is a rogue right?" "Yes but they aren't psychopaths like the others." "Why not?" "I guess you could say I have them trained." "They're terrified of you." "Not me." He shook his head. "They're terrified of the demon whose rage is a millions time worse than a normal demons. They're terrified of the wolf who has a bad temper and acts on instinct. They're terrified of the vampire part of me who craves the taste of blood." "They're terrified of the creatures inside you." "No, they're terrified of the monsters inside me." We didn't talk much after that, he just showed me the rest of the territory. In all there are three apartment type buildings where everyone lives, a big green house, and then you have his house which is more like a mansion. It has three floors, five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, library, TV room, living room, kitchen, ballroom, dinning room, office, laundry room, basement, and an attic. When it was time for bed Thaddeus gave me one of his shirts and and a pair of his basketball shorts to sleep in after I took a shower. I got into the same bed I woke up in expecting Thaddeus to come to bed to but he didn't. For that whole night he didn't step one foot into the room so I ended up sleeping alone. . .

My Beast . chapter 1 My name is Davina Winfield and I'm 18. I have chocolate brown hair, blue/gray eyes, and tan skin. I've been an orphan since I was seven years old. My father was an abusive drunk. He would get drunk after work, come home, and beat my mom. He'd hit her over little things like his dinner not being salted enough or his coffee not being fixed right. One night when I was five, I went to find my mom and I found her in their bathtub with her wrists cut open and blood everywhere. It was called a suicide leaving me with my father. For the next two years he started beating me instead. When I was seven, I came home from school and found my father hanging from the shower curtain in the same bathroom where my mom died. I ran to my neighbors and screamed and cried. The cops were called I ended up in an orphanage. I was never put into a foster home and no one ever came to see me. So, for the past eleven years I have been in the same orphanage just waiting for the day when I can leave. Right now we are driving down a dark road, surrounded by trees. We were woken up just shortly after we went to bed and were told that they had planned a surprise for us so we all got up and piled inside of a van. So we did as they said and now we are on our way along with three other vans filled with kids. After a fairly long drive, we stopped when we reached a clearing. There was nothing but a small stage and a small building sitting in the middle. We all piled out and gathered together. "May I have your attention please?!" A man in a suit called out stepping up on the stage. We all turned to face him and grew silent. "Thank you. Now I bet your all wondering why you are here. How many of you know about the creatures of the night?" No one raised their hands. For the next twenty minutes the man explained to us about how all the creatures we read about in books are real. Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons and so on. We all laughed and called him crazy until the guy beside him shifted into this huge wolf. We were instantly terrified. Here's what I've learned. Vampires: Live for thousands of years. Some feed off of animals and others feed off of blood bags they get from blood banks. They live in groups called clans. They each have a soulmate. They can't turn into bats either. Werewolves: They live in groups called packs which is lead by the strongest wolf amongst them called the Alpha. They can live for hundreds of years. They also have soulmates. Wolves, especially males, are protective and possessive over their mates. They will kill for them. Rogues are wolves that have no mpack. Rogues are evil and mean and will often steal women and kids from other packs. Witches and Wizards: They are what you'd expect them to be. They cast spells and mix up potions. They mate with each other. Some live in groups but they mostly live alone. Demons: Demons are the most feared creatures because they don't feel. They don't love or show any emotions except hatred and anger. They don't mate either so no one is really sure where they come from. They feed off chaos and strife. Angels: It's no surprise that angels are the purest ones of all others. They can't lie or commit any sin of any kind. Mermaids: They can live in water or on land. All they have to do is take a step on dry land and they get legs. To get back to mermaid from they must completely submerge their bodies in water. Some lure ships to rocks by singing which ends up killing all those aboard the ships. The Royal Council: They serve as the main leaders for each species group. There's two wolves, two vamps, one witch and wizard, two mermaid, two angels, and one demon. They have strict set of rules that must be obeyed. Rule one: It is forbidden and punishable by death for any two species to cross breed. Rule two: One species cannot kill another without probable cause. The council has captured him and tested on him a couple times to try and figure out how his existence is possible but they've come up with nothing. He has escaped every single time that he's been captured. Last time that was over a thousands years ago. No one knows if he has a mate or three or even if he's killed her. The last thing anyone has heard of him is that he is the leader of a large pack of rogues and other supernatural beings that have gone rogue." The man then explained what our purpose served. We are to be sold to any supernatural being that wished to purchase us. They can use us for anything the seem fit except for a mate. The man divided the boys from the girls and then had all the girls go to the small building nearby. Inside we were all stripped of our clothing, bathed, shaved, waxed and groomed to perfection before being put in white dresses. We were then directed back outside to stand behind the stage in a line. Forty minutes later I could hear rustling, growling, talking, and laughing. I peaked over the top of the stage to see what must've been hundreds of people. "Welcome!" The man yelled jumping up on stage. Everyone in the crowd cheered. "Who is ready to get started?" Everyone cheered again. "Then let's get started. First up we have a blonde female with blue eyes." He said as he pulled a girl up on stage. Two minutes later she was officially sold for $10,000. This continued for the next thirty minutes before he got to me. "Next is a beautiful brunette with grayish/blueish eyes." I scanned the crowd in panic. I stopped when I locked eyes with a pair of blue/red/black ones. The man was standing in the shadows of the trees so all I could see was a silhouette and I could tell that he was at least 6'7. The breeze blew past me and towards him and seconds later his eyes got brighter and he straightened up. "$30,000!" I heard a man yell. "$30,000 going once.......going twice......so-" The man was cut off by an extremely loud growl. Everyone looked back at the man I had locked eyes with. The man stepped forward so that the moonlight made him visible. He was extremely gorgeous. Black hair, chiseled jawline, broad shoulders, some scruff, and large biceps. He wore a black long sleeve t-shirt that did nothing but emphasized his gorgeous body and his jeans did the same with his legs. "Excuse me sir. Did you want to bid?" The man beside me asked. "Why would I bid on something when it's already mine?" The mysterious man said in a deep, sexy, smooth yet rough voice. "What?" "She's mine." He growled. "She can be if you just bid on her." I don't know what it was but something inside of me told me to go to the man but I couldn't bring myself to move. "Mate." The man growled. "That's not possible." The man said pushing me behind him causing the other guy to growl louder. "You've just made him angry." He said, his eyes glowing red. "Who? Your demon?" "The demon was already angry but now you've made the wolf angry to." The man in front of me grew pale, very pale. "B-Beast?" He stuttered. "Bingo." The mysterious man said.. . . . who wants more episodes?
