This is to set the record straight on the Nigerians that have occupied the office of president,from among the three old regions,ie the Northern,Westhern and the Easthern regions since 1999,please note,these were the regions before independence in 1960.
This is how the regions have all fared since the advent of Democracy in 1999.
The old Westhern region which is now one(1) geopolitical zone,spent 8yrs with Olusegun Obasanjo.While the old Easthern region which is now two(2) geopolitical zones,spent 6yrs with Goodluck Ebele Azikwe Jonathan.So altogether the Southern Nigeria has spent 14 good years in the presidency.
For the old Northern region,which is now three(3) zones,has previously spent 2yrs with Umar Musa Yaradua of blessed memory before his demised,the current regime will last by 2023 and it would have been 8yrs by then.So,what this simply means is that by the duration this current government in 2023,the Northern Nigeria would spent just 10yrs.

Nigeria economy would do better if every region take charge of its God giving resources and contribute thirty percent to the federation account as it was done in the '60s that enable each region to develop at its own pase without any hinderance from any quarters whatsoever.
For instance,the entire north ie,the NW,the NE and the NC,are all known to contributed seventy percent(70%),of food and raw materials use in the local factories and with huge arable land for the cultivation of different agricultural produce,while the SW generated seventy percent(70%),of the taxes that is realiased in Nigeria,as for the SS it is the region that provide the country ninety percent of its foreigh exchange,and for the other,anyone with th right information should go ahead and present it.

Although,the general election is still far away,adequate preparations should be put into gear,by next year,this is very important.
In my opinion,the APC presidential candidate should still be zone to the North,due to the greediness of the southern politician in PDp in violating the 'gentle manly agreement on power rotation between the North and South'.
Now,having mention this,who among the the northern aspirants should the party choose as its presidential flag bearer for the 2023 election?left to me ,the candidate should either senator Ibrahim Shekarau or senator Rabiu Kwankwaso if he decamp back APC,although,i will prefer the former.
However,for running mate,this should be from the South-South,and this should be between Adam Oshmhole and Rotimi Amechi,though i will settle for the latter,having in mind the important of the region now to the APC.
The South West,should make do with the senate-presidency,come to think of it,that is the only post the SW is yet to occupy.

Chief Chekwas Okorie,a one time chieftain and chairman of All progressive grand alliance,APGA,has allerged that the former president of Nigeria,our highly revered,honest,anti-corruption cruder,war veteran,detribalised Nigeria among others,former president,chief Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Micheal Obasanjo,the Ebora Owu himself,although,his DNA,is yet to confirm if he is truely an Owu naitive,talkless of been a Yoruba man,to have vow that just like the southern part of the United States of America,the USA,the Igbos in the south east will only be allowed by the power that be in the North and the South West, to preside over the country after 150yrs,and that nothing anyone can do about that.
