Please I didn't get TLS appointment email and also payment receipt for TLS appointment, but I got receipt mail for priority
The appointment is showing on the TLS site, I hope there won't be any issue at TLS

Any suggestions on what I can do?

New Rules for Current and New Students traveling to North Cyprus.

All incoming new students are required to purchase a return ticket when traveling to North Cyprus. No students will be allowed boarding without a return flight ticket.

And for current students, resident or returning students from Syria, Pakistan, Armenia and Nigeria – whose nationality are required to have visa to TRNC prior arrival and any other students whose resident permit are still not complete for the year 2021 -2022 need to book return flights before returning to North Cyprus.


Guvende or covid certificate does not exist anymore.

What's the process of recalling a passport from UKVI

An application has been made since 1st of June and no response

Application was made outside Nigeria, but she needs to come back home as exams has finished for almosta month (a student)

If we can't get a UK visa at least she should be able to come home to family

I don't think there is a problem with that, I once had a visa where an alphabet was completely omitted from my middle name and I still used the visa

People with similar experienceas yours may also respond with further advise

We (Wife and i) picked up our passports on 7th, visa approved.
But we discovered an error in my surname spelling (B instead of E).
Anyone had such experience? And how did you attend this. Though we returned the passport to our TLScentre immediately and a correction form was filled and the visa (passport) was retrieved.

How long will it take them to rectify the error?
Note: We were able to confirm that the error is from UKVI and not from us..

Fortunately for us, we have booked our flight for 12th of August to Sunderland.

Depends on if such person is traveling alone.

A Travel Consent Letter is used when a child is travelling alone, with only one parent/legal guardian.

This document notifies authorities or other interested parties that the parent has given their consent for the child to travel without them.



If such person is admitted into the university and have admission letter and visa already; the letter is not necessary.

If the 16 year old is accompanying one of the parents or another person; may be required.



To Whom it may concern



General information nothing specific. But may include:

Parent/Guardian names and personal information.

Destination being travelled to, dates of travel, and dates of return.

Airline details.

Signed authorization of consent by Parents/Legal guardians.

A signature and seal by the Notary Public

If you are okay with the person and he or she has a proof of those that successfully arrived with it then it’s up to you.

Generally, before now OKTB takes one way ticket but due to issues encounter with the users and sending the travelers back then that results in the return tickets. So give it a try!

All TRNC citizens pay rent in TL they don't pay in hard currencies and recently the country encourage landlord to take rent in Turkish Lira(TL) don't convert TL to Euro or Dollars it's going to be higher! On the average, OKTB takes 3 to 5 days to process by the airline after all documentation submitted.

OKTB is not a printed document just an updated code on the ticket and only visible to the airline officer/staffers.

I got an admission into a university in Canada (UG studies) and applied for visa. while the visa processing is on going i saw another school (cheaper) and i applied again.

Will it be possible to use the visa (for the first application) to attend the second school or one has to re-apply?

Only WES give favorable two or more certificate with certain professional courses like CIMA, Bcs etc. Nigerian ICAN is not recognized by WES. If your background is accounting..... CIMA is your win for EE.

My background is Agric Economics, plus ICAN & MBA Finance. I want to add CIMA using my ICAN for CIMA conversion before putting in for the EE
