Anybody that have been to kano won't even argue this for 10secs but you're here telling lies and feeling good about it. if yorubas are found at schools,hospital and bank staff how many numbers of these staffs can compete with the number of igbos at sabon gari? since you people are not traders tell me where one can found large percentage of Yoruba and what they are doing to survive in kano.

Visit places like mariri, samiya boka, hotoro, nassarawa, anguwa uku, ibrahim taiwo, fagge, kabuga, kurna, brigade, sabon titi, gyadi gyadi, hadeija road, and a lot of other areas and see the teeming yoruba population there. There is no where in the north you guys are more than Igbo's. I stay in Kano and I have also stayed in countless northern states.

In kano where you see total dominance of Igbo's: Sabin gari, nomansland and airport road. the Hausa's even call it Igbo area. Where in kano do Hausa's call Yoruba areas? Hotoro, Hausa's are more, naibawa, Hausa's are more, every other place you mention, Hausa's are more.

If you stay in kano as you claim then you yourself know you are lying. Yorubas stays in all areas in kano, and they work in almost all the sectors and they trade too. Our pattern of settlement anywhere suggests that we fear nothing from our host, unless maybe in the east. We don't need any sabon gari anywhere else in the world. You wouldn't know yoruba houses since we are not restricted to build in a certain place, so we build all over.

Your everyday life all across the state you meet the yorubas, in hospitals, as doctors, nurses, care givers, in banks as bankers e.t.c , in schools as teachers/lecturers, students, etc. In the construction companies, talk about Oil business in hotoro. In the market, go to kofar wombai, s/g market, kori markets, e.t.c and see them.

Go to the schools too, ibo life in kano is all about sabon gari, the vicinity and trading in markets. Yorubas are way more than igbos in the kano and the north entirely.

There are Northern states like Niger state where you will find more Yorubas than Igbos. There are also far more Yorubas in Ivory Coast than you will find in S.E states.
There is something that is pursuing people from SE states including indigenes that travels to different parts of the country in search of a better life.

How can a right-thinking person suggest that Yorubas outnumber Igbos in northern Nigeria?

Are we talking of Kano metropolis alone with an estimated population of over three million Igbos or what do we say of Zaria, Kaduna and even Katsina?

I will let the name calling to slide, Kano metropolis is not made up of sabon gari alone, go to gyadi gyadi, hotoro, mariri, ungwa uku, kabuga, rigiyar zaki, kurna, dorayi, brigade, pashinkara,samiya boka and even your glorified sabon gari and other areas to numerous to mention and see the population of Yorubas residing there, Yorubas integrate into the host society so it makes them almost invincible.

Use Yoruba language to insult a stranger wearing kaftan or hijab in the north and get the shock of your life. Go to wudil, bichi, rano and other neighboring towns and see the population of Yorubas there compared with Ibos. Kaduna, Zaria and other parts of the north are not even worth debating or going back and forth on. Guy, try to travel around and stop relying on bogus claims.

Go to Potiskum, Nguru, Maiduguri, Yola, Mubi and other towns in the north east and see if the population of the Yorubas are not thrice more than the Ibo population there. Guys arguing should travel extensively to cure their ignorance. Relying on them say, them say is very dangerous.
