@ Abuzola

Abuzola, are you a true Muslim at all? See how allah's apostle treated the bible in this hadith. It is either you are ignorant of the life of the prophet or you are a disobedient muslim. Did allah’s apostle spit on the bible? Did he interprete these things the way you are doing. Consider the following.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 38 (Kitab al Hudud, ie. Prescribed Punishments), Number 4434

Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar:
A group of Jews came and invited the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) to Quff. So he visited them in their school.
They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee.
He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you. Then a young man was brought. The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi' (No. 4431)."

@Huxley

Huxley knew that the major bones of contention are the 8 points, which he said, should not be mentioned.

I will throw away my Christian faith if you and those godless scientists with their faustian agenda prove that the earth, which is radically different from other planets, has no creator. Whether that creator is wicked or not is a different matter all together.
Aristotle himself did not know where to classify certain phenomenon that science cannot provide answers to, that was the reason he called them Meta-physics i.e. works beyond the physical. At least he knew that there are things beyond science. These are things that Huxley is throwing to ordinary people to grapple with. Great philosophers could not satisfactorily provide answers to them. Is that not why we have as many school of thought as there are philosopher?

We need to talk about everything so that the next simple-minded man that is about to become an atheist by your post is shown the other side of the matter.

Paul was not originally there, but he obtained mercy. He received a divine revelation about Jesus on his way to kill Christians. Haven’t you heard that in spite all the things, that Islamic leaders are doing to prevent their people from knowing the truth, Christ is still appearing to them most especially in the middle east. Is that not what made babs787 to post a thread on Jinns disguising as Jesus to Muslims?

Your eternal fate depends on the decision you make. It is either you accept Christ saying come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest or Muhammad saying Every one of you must enter it( i.e. hell)

Jesus' disciples were in a better position to tell us about him. Historian such as Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius etc made mention of him.

@Abuzola

Dexmond. What do u say about the god jesus said 'for i cannot do anything of myself' can God be weak
God can not be weak.

Here is the scripture:
John5: 30
I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Clarifications.

Here Jesus is saying that his judgment is based on what people do. I have earlier said that he came to direct men’s heart back to God. It can be likened to Ceaser standing in the coliseum and saying “everyone one must honour Ceaser” Those who recognize him will know that he is the Ceaser while those who do not know him in person will cast their mind to the king of Rome. But the king of Rome and Ceaser is one and the same person. Jesus did not directly tell the Jews that He is the  Almighty God whom they have been privileged to know. However, His conduct and other things which he did testified to the Jews that he is the Promised Messiah. He forgave sins committed against God, he worked on a Sabbath, he not been a member of the ruling council of the synagogue, single-handedly drove out people who turned the temple into a market place. Men worshipped him, yet he did not object to it. He even claimed the title of I am (the name by which God appeared unto Abraham).

@Olabowale
I asked that dexmond answer with clarity, and give good opinion or guess. He can out with the biggest confusion i have ever read. Kings established Kingdoms, and throne or court to rule from. Jesus did not do any of those. Infact he denied being called a king on earth! He aught to have established his governance by himself, not asking somebody else to do it for him. Thats cop out!
You don't need to be confused. The Kingdom we are talking about is a  spiritual domain over which God is sovereign. Jesus said in John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day”. A sincere seeker who does not want to spend eternity in hell and yet  does not have the spiritual eyes with which to decipher the bible need to humbly pray and say “ Lord show me yourself”. The body of Christ/Church/ Kingdom of God is invisible for now.

He prayed in Temples or synagogues . He should have at least mentioned church while he was praying in a private home. People could have been able to use that proivate occasion as an argument for a church. Well since there was nothing like that, we see that church is another man made after Jesus argument. No validity to it, at all.
Jesus been the Son of God , gave us example of how God is to be worshiped, the conduct expected of the people who wants to serve him. He prayed, fasted, preached the word, and in fact lived what he preached! You are aware that the standard of righteousness and holiness which he established can not be parallelel

Luke 16:23

“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments. . .”

How long will a muslim stay in this torments before entering paradise?
Islam › Re: Emulate The Leadership Qualities Of Prophet Mohammed by dexmond: 7:42am On Jun 29, 2009
@olabowale
The government Jesus brought is the church which is refered to as his kingdom.
Jesus tells Peter, "and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 16:18, 19).

Prophecy demands the establishment of the kingdom. Daniel prophesied of four world kingdoms (Dan. 2). There was the Babylonian; the Medo-Persian; the Macedonian(Greek) and the Roman (Dan. 2:32, 33). Regarding the Roman Empire, Daniel prophesied, "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom;" (Dan. 2:44).

Jesus is greater than Isaiah including Adam. Why is he greater than Isaiah? Though God decided to identify with his creature He is still greater than them. That explains what John the baptist said about Him. That he John is not worthy to untie the sandals of Jesus.

You become a member of the Kingdom by experiencing the new birth. i.e been born-again
Islam › Re: Emulate The Leadership Qualities Of Prophet Mohammed by dexmond: 1:13am On Jun 29, 2009
Jesus did not claim to be God on the basis of having the spirit of God in him. Moses and all the prophets before Jesus had the spirit of God.
We know from The prophet Isaiah in the Jewish Torah that the messiah will be called the Almighty God, he came to fulfill that.
IS 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

IS 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Moreover, the Jews knew that God was going to visit them that was why they went to search the scripture to see if a prophet will arise out of Galilee.
Why did Isaiah who lived 600yrs apart from Jesus had to call a human like himself “Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”.

Isaiah made us to know that God was going to take human flesh, so when Jesus came and did all the things he did, those who knew the Torah recognized him.

MT 22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

MT 22:42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

MT 22:43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

MT 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

MT 22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

MT 22:46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

This question was thrown at the pharisees who knew some things concerning christ in the Torah. Unfortunately, their spiritual eye was not open to see hidden things about him. That was why he told them many things in parables. You people do not know the basics of the issue about christ as contained in the Jewish book. No wonder Allah's prophet tried to gain credibilty among the jews by claiming that the Jewish Torah said some things about him too!

I have a question for you. How does God know what is happening in all the universe at a time? If you answer, I will raise answer to the question of Jesus (Son) calling God his Father at the same time he is the same Father! Thats a spiritual mystery!
Islam › Re: Emulate The Leadership Qualities Of Prophet Mohammed by dexmond: 8:30pm On Jun 28, 2009
is God confused about his begotten son or is another yet contradiction from the bible ? Alhamdulilah am a muslim
Jesus and the Almighty God are one and the same.

John 5:17-18

"Jesus said to them, 'My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.' For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God"

John 8:19

"Then they asked him, 'Where is your father?' 'You do not know me or my Father,' Jesus replied. 'If you knew me, you would know my Father also'"

John 8:58

"'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I am!'"

John 10:30

"I and the Father are one"

John 14:7-11, 20

Jesus also affirmed His deity to the disciples. "'If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.' Philip said, 'Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.' Jesus answered: 'Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, "Show us the Father"? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.'"

We believe God came and lived among men in the person of jesus

Abuzola explained himself clearly about anyone being a muslim will finally enter Paradise. The muslims that performed evil acts will receive some punishment but will be forgiven by Allah or via an intercessor ( a muslim or the Prophet (pbuh)) .

I noticed that you repeated the question a few times and that is why I explained it. And FYI, Islam is not demonic.
@ Olabowale
You see the confidence in his ability to intercede.
It is quite surprising that you don’t that there are a hadiths where the prophet said he is not an intercessor!
It appears you don’t know the following hadiths :
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "(On the Day of Resurrection) camels will come to their owner in the best state of health they have ever had (in the world), and if he had not paid their Zakat (in the world) then they would tread him with their feet; and similarly, sheep will come to their owner in the best state of health they have ever had in the world, and if he had not paid their Zakat, then they would tread him with their hooves and would butt him with their horns." The Prophet added, "One of their rights is that they should be milked while water is kept in front of them." The Prophet added, "I do not want anyone of you to come to me on the Day of Resurrection, carrying over his neck a sheep that will be bleating. Such a person will (then) say, ‘O Muhammad! (please intercede for me,).’ I will say to him. ‘I can't help you, for I conveyed Allah's Message to you.’ Similarly, I do not want anyone of you to come to me carrying over his neck a camel that will be grunting. Such a person (then) will say ‘O Muhammad! (Please intercede for me).’ I will say to him, ‘I can't help you for I conveyed Allah's message to you.’" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 24, Number 485)
Moreover, Allah’s apostle does not know his own fate!
Narrated ‘Um al-‘Ala:
An Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet that the Ansar drew lots concerning the dwelling of the Emigrants. ‘Uthman bin Maz'un was decided to dwell with them (i.e. Um al-‘Ala’s family), 'Uthman fell ill and I nursed him till he died, and we covered him with his clothes. Then the Prophet came to us and I (addressing the dead body) said, "O Abu As-Sa'ib, may Allah's Mercy be on you! I bear witness that Allah has honored you." On that the Prophet said, "How do you know that Allah has honored him?" I replied, "I do not know. May my father and my mother be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! But who else is worthy of it (if not 'Uthman)?" He said, "As to him, by Allah, death has overtaken him, and I hope the best for him. By Allah, though I am the Apostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me," By Allah, I will never assert the piety of anyone after him. That made me sad, and when I slept I saw in a dream a flowing stream for 'Uthman bin Maz'un. I went to Allah's Apostle and told him of it. He remarked, "That symbolizes his (good) deeds." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, Number 266)

We are now in NT! But lets go along. Please pay attention to the fact that the woman in question was a young woman named Mary, who was still a virgin! Can anyone guess her age? Maybe between 13 and 16 years old. If she was older, it is not clear. But something is clear, she would not have remained a virgin even at 17, since the age of maturity with the Children of Israel is 13! Go ask them, thats why they have Bermitva, which you Christians have wrongly labelled Baptism! She was made readied for an old man Joseph. Age difference; some of you will say that Joesph is a cradle robber!
Ah, my senior, you appear to be against Allah’s  Prophet who said that Jesus was born of a virgin!
Surah 3:45-47
When the angels said, "O Mary! Allah announces to you a Word from himself, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, and to be honoured in this world and the hereafter, and of those who draw near. He will speak to the people in his infancy and in maturity, and will be one of the righteous." She said, "How shall I bear a son when no one has touched me?" He replied, "Even so, Allah creates what he wills. When he decrees a matter, he only says to it Be! and it comes to be."

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." John 3:16-18

@Ayinba1
I noticed that you repeated the question a few times and that is why I explained it. And FYI, Islam is not demonic.
I am not saying your religion is demonic, kindly interpret this, you might end up making me a muslim!

An experience Muhammad had as a child.

When Muhammad was a child he was nursed by a Bedouin woman. During this time he had an experience with "two men in white raiment". Here is W. M. Watt's translation of Ibn Ishaq's biography of Muhammad, page 36:

", two men in white clothes came to me with a golden basin full of snow. They took me and split open my body, then they took my heart and split it open and took out from it a black clot which they flung away. Then they washed my heart and my body with that snow until they made them pure."

This event deeply disturbed the Bedouins and they returned Muhammad to his mother. Here is the story told by Muhammad's wet-nurse, related in Guillaume's translation of Ibn Ishaq, page 72:

"His [Muhammad's friend's] father said to me, "I am afraid that this child has had a stroke, so take him back to his family before the result appears. , She [Muhammad's mother] asked me what happened and gave me no peace until I told her. When she asked if I feared a demon had possessed him, I replied that I did."

Narrated 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle said that he met Zaid bin 'Amr Nufail at a place near Baldah and this had happened before Allah's Apostle received the Divine Inspiration. Allah's Apostle presented a dish of meat (that had been offered to him by the pagans) to Zaid bin 'Amr, but Zaid refused to eat of it and then said (to the pagans), "I do not eat of what you slaughter on your stone altars (Ansabs) nor do I eat except that on which Allah's Name has been mentioned on slaughtering." (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, number 407)

Note that this incident took place before Alla's Apostle prophetic calling.

However, I want  you to know that it is an opinion that I stated which anybody can disprove by correctly interpreting the hadiths and the tafsir I quoted.  I am not the writer of the hadith, I only interpreted it according to my own understanding which may be wrong. It would have been better  if you had allowed an authority in islamic theolgy to come and give a sound interpretation.

Every Muslim will be in paradise even the worst of them all
Initially, you said “every Muslim will enter hell even the worst of them”, now you are saying bad Muslims (the worst of them) will not enter.

I suppose, the good work which you think will save you may not be enough to earn you a place. According to your Quran, if your good deeds outweigh your evil deed, you will enter. In other words, all you need is 51% of holiness to make it! But we are told in the bible, that God, whom you say is the same as Allah is 100% holy. It’s a pity Islam does not offer hope.

Note that your self- righteousness according to my bible is like a filthy rag before the holy Almighty God.

Are your sins forgiven? Have they been washed? Who washed them? At what point did you become a Muslim? By birth or by committing you life to Allah? Do you have the conviction that you have salvation?

Allah’s apostle himself was afraid of an eclipse of the sun, thinking the hour of judgement had come not to talk of his followers. Why was he afraid? Was his work evil in the sight of God? Was there sin in his life that will prevent him from entering into the paradise of the Allah he had laboured to serve?
You think you are calling the same God that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob called. Ok, why don’t you pray to Allah this evening  and pray to him tomorrow using the title of  “God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob  for him”.
If you trust Allah take my challenge and do it, the one that answers, is the living God.

Ok, pray a different prayer than the formulae given in quran and the true God will show himself!

You are confusing me. How will entering paradise be based on the sahada, yet some Muslim who had confessed the sahada still enter hell? Did they not say the sahada? Was the sahada not properly said? You need to explain peradventure you might successfully convince someone!
However,as far as the bible is concerned, one becomes saved when the person asks Jesus to come into his/her life after acknowledging that he/she is a sinner and confesses his/her sins . Asking Jesus to come into one’s life embodies so many things. Abuzola and his Muslim brethren, the only way to heaven is through Jesus (John 14:6- I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but by me). Muhammad is not a savior for he did not die for man’s sin neither did he proffer any remedy to deliver man from the torment of sin. He clearly stated it in this hadith:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
When Allah revealed the Verse: "Warn your nearest kinsmen," Allah's Apostle got up and said, "O people of Quraish (or said similar words)! Buy (i.e. save) yourselves (from the Hellfire) as I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment; O Bani Abd Manaf! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment, O Safiya, the Aunt of Allah's Apostle! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment; O Fatima bint Muhammad! Ask me anything from my wealth, but I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 51, Number 16)

Dexmond, You sound so conventional that i might just conclude that you yourself have'nt the knowledge of what you're saying,

Born again just simply means a change of attitude, personal realisation of yourself or a particular behavioural pattern you believe you should change from to the one you think is a better one, which is of course RESPECTIVE,  YOU shall know the TRUTH and the TRUTH{ Which you know, not your pastor's truth}  shall set you FREE,

TRUTH is an ELUSIVE concept, IT DIFFERS, Your's is different from mine, The TRUTH you knew yesterday is different from the one you know today and thats why our perception of a particular thing changes.Because there is an added knowledge of that same thing,
Thats why your best food 20 years ago might not be the same today, your choice of girl, beer, wears e.t.c

Our truth can never be the same,,,and thats the part your pastor wont tell unless you because he wants you restricted within his own confinements,

And thats why the religious view of an average CHRIST EMBASSIER  is like CHRIS OYAKILOME's ,an average REDEEMER'S  like  BABA  ADEBOYE, an average CANANN LANDER'S like OYEDEPO, DEEPER LIFER'S  the same way, I hope you now see what i'm talking about,

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIND YOUR OWN TRUTH MR DEXMOND,

I rest my case,
Someone once said that "truth is the end of inquiry" . I have an experiencial knowledge of the "Truth", therefore I don't need to continue searching.

How come allah's messenger regards himself as one of the prophets when we know that he is a decendant of ishmael. I'm not a sick puppy. But you know in the hadiths and the records of al-tabari's "life of muhammed", we see all the wars, the sharing of booties, the unjust killing of kinana, the killing of bint marwana, the sex with a menstruating woman, infact, a whole lot  of negative reports.

Infact, I really thank God for the hadiths.

Your defination of the meaning "wari-duha" is wrong. Passing over it, is what "wari-duha" means. There is no reason for a bridge to be erected over hell, except it serves a purpose. The purpose in this case is part of the process of Trial, Justice and Mercy of Allah. All mankind will be tried. Some will receive due Justice by falling into hell, when trying to cross over. These are the disbelievers.

Others, the believers, InshaAllah am one of them and so are the muslims from this generations to the last of them on earth, will cross successfully, by verious degrees of speed. They will not fall into the hell like the "nonMuslims" who will definitely be unsuccesful in their effort to cross over hell "throough the bridge."
Mr wale, Your Islamic scholars are not been sincere with you. Look at the following hadith, they don't want you to see it. You don't even need a scholar to interpret it to you sir.

… Anas then said, "Muhammad talked to us saying, ‘On the Day of Resurrection the people will surge with each other like waves, and then they will come to Adam and say, ‘Please intercede for us with your Lord.’… They would come to me and I would say, ‘I am for that.’ Then I will ask for my Lord's permission, and it will be given, and then He will inspire me to praise Him with such praises as I do not know now. So I will praise Him with those praises and will fall down, prostrate before Him. Then it will be said, ‘O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for your will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.’ I will say, ‘O Lord, my followers! My followers!’ And then it will be said, ‘Go and take out of Hell (Fire) all those who have faith in their hearts, equal to the weight of a barley grain.’ … Anas told me the same as he told you and said that the prophet added, "I then return for a fourth time and praise Him similarly and prostrate before Him. He asks me the same as he did, ‘O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for you will be granted (your request): and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.’ I will say, ‘O Lord, allow me to intercede for whoever said, "None has the right to be worshiped except Allah." Then Allah will say, ‘by my Power, and my Majesty, and by My Supremacy, and by My Greatness, I will take out of Hell (Fire) whoever said: 'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah.’" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 93, Number 601)

Note, in this hadith, the followers of allah’s messenger entered into hell (O Lord, my followers! My followers!).

You cannot endure one minute in hell, why then should you enter it at all? The confusion of Muslims about Christianity is the fact that God being a spirit cannot have a child. Yes, God cannot have a child by having carnal knowledge of a woman because he is a spirit. Whoever says that God slept with mary is saying blasphemy. Jesus is called the Son of God because God came to this earth and lived among us. You can get a lot of prophesy concerning the coming of God to dwell among men in the Torah!

Luke 1:26-38 (New King James Version)

26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”[a]
29 But when she saw him,[b] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

My brother, don’t let anybody deceive you, Islam does not offer hope. Salvation is in JESUS alone. In John 14:16 Jesus said “ I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me”

There are lots of evidence that showed Muhammed existed. Although, the Prof. could have been confused about the huge gap between the historical Muhammed and the one in the Quran

dexmond, try to get details from those who understand it. Though, there are several propangandists and antislamists who claim this verse to mean all muslims will enter hell fire. Have you ever ponder over it that Quran describe and proof it loudly in many places that believers and good-doers will enter paradise, very prevalent in many verses of the Quran. On this particular verse, if you yourself read the verse semantically, is there no difference between enter and pass. The meaning of passing over the hell is well describe in the hadith. The passing on the of judgement is crossing the bridge of sirat in which under it is hell. Ability to cross to the bridge easily will depends on our good deeds. Some will fall into hell because of thier bad deeds, in which prophet Muhammad will intercede for them after a while. Just go through the ffg hadiths for details:
Note: there are so many references but for brevity sake I only give very few.
Muslim Scholars commentary on whether all muslims will enter hell or not.
Here is a translation from Arabic source, I only took the point relevant to our discussion.

Ibn Kathir’s Commentary
Surah 19:71 Not one of you but will pass through it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.
Imam Ahmad narrated that Sulaiman Ibn Harb narrated that Khalid Ibn Sulaiman narrated that Kathir Ibn Ziad Al- Barsani narrated that Abu Sumaya said, "We differed about the meaning of ‘Passing through it’ (wari-duha). For some of us said that no believer will enter hell and others said all (people) shall enter it and then Allah will save those who have done righteousness. Then I met Jabir Ibn Abdallah and I informed him that we differed about the meaning of, ‘Pass through it,’ and he replied that, "EVERYONE SHALL ENTER IT."
Note: there are more than dozen commentary by notable Islamic scholar.

Proofs:
The oldest extant biography of Muhammad is called the "Sirat Rasulallah" — "Life of the Prophet of Allah". This book was written by Ibn Ishaq, a devout Muslim scholar, and later revised by Ibn Hisham.

page 515 reads:

"Kinana al-Rabi, who had the custody of the treasure of Banu Nadir, was brought to the apostle who asked him about it. He denied that he knew where it was. A Jew came (Tabari says "was brought"wink, to the apostle and said that he had seen Kinana going round a certain ruin every morning early. When the apostle said to Kinana, "Do you know that if we find you have it I shall kill you?" He said "Yes". The apostle gave orders that the ruin was to be excavated and some of the treasure was found. When he asked him about the rest he refused to produce it, so the apostle gave orders to al-Zubayr Al-Awwam, "Torture him until you extract what he has." So he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad b. Maslama and he struck off his head, in revenge for his brother Mahmud."

FROM SAHIH BUKHARI - VOLUME 5, #637:
Narrated Buraida: The prophet sent Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (part of the war booty) and I hated Ali, and Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, "Don't you see this (i.e. Ali)? When we reached the prophet I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you hate him for he deserves more than that from the Khumus."

The note for 637 explains that Buraida hated Ali for taking from the Khumus, and Buraida thought that was not good.

You just have to know that Islam does not provide a pathway for Man's salvation which God promised at the fall that "The son of the woman shall bruised thy head"
This was a prophecy by God himself when he delivered judgement for Adams disobedience caused by the serpent(devil). The fulfilment is JESUS.

Seriously; there is no "infidel" as a word in Quran. But there is "infidel" as a word in Timothy, a book in the Bible!

And as what Jesus said, as listed in your post above, none of them is doable. You Dexmond can't do any of them and you know it! No christian have done a single one of them. Its all a pipe dream. So dream on, bloke.

No one will allow a big mother (big strong man) to slap him deaf and foolishly turn the other cheek. Thats what your Bible said, aint it? Smart people do the scooby doo out of there!

No one will give his/her last cloth to anyone. He/she will be nude in the buff, like a jail bird before he gets the jumpers! You guys lie too much. Whats so surprising is that you have no shame about lying!

As to Prophet Muhammad (AS) and the Quran, I see what is natural and has been the condition of humans, throughout history. But what you also blindly and ignorantly omit is the forgiveness! Muslim is permitted to take revenge. But not to overdue it. An eye for an eye, like Moses. It is not all the time, because you are permitted to forgive, completely without any revenge. Open your heart to knowledge man. Don't be like the Donkey. Or the Ostrich with the head buried in the sand!
@ Olabowale
What does the arabic word "Kafir" mean?

You said Jesus's teaching is not "doable", If I accept for the sake of this argument, The teachings are good in theory compared to the teachings of your prophet.

Your admittance of jesus's teaching as not been "doable" is an indirect agreement that there is no salvation in islam. The coming of Jesus was to deliver the people from the "Nature of Sin". You said that the teachings of Jesus are contrary to the "natural". "She shall bring forth a son and thou shall call his name jesus for he shall save his pople from their sins Matthew 1:21"

But your prophet came and added fuel to the already depraved nature that jesus came to restore by approving rape, caravan-robbing, murder, ethnic cleansing, unforgiveness etc.

No wonder that allah's messenger said every muslim must surely enter hell.

Sura Maryam 19:70-72
And certainly we know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein.  Not one of you but will pass over it (hell): this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.  But we shall save those who guarded against evil, and we shall leave the wrongdoers therein, (humbled) to their knees.

Why will you Olabowale and other Muslims  continue to follow Islam seeing you will eventually end in hell? or do you think that Jesus's virgin birth, his been a spirit from God and his ability to perform miracles which the quran attested to is for nothing (S. 3:45,47) ? The purpose is to convince you that He is the Messiah and that by believing him and following his teachings, you might not go to hell at all.

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The first thing I will like to find out is "if You have experienced the first work of grace i.e REGENERATION (being born-again)". If yes, "was their a renewal of your mind which enables the truely born-again to crave fellowship with God and the people of God?". If you are not yet born-again, serving God will be mechanical-for you have not yet received grace for service.

However, If you are really sincere, then pray that God should open your eyes to see the church where you can attend. There are still 7000 men who have not bowed their kneed unto baal beside Elijah (1 Kings 19:18 ). Moreover, I suggest that you try The Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement.

That doctrine that attending church is not necessary is from the pit of hell.

Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Acts 9:31
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Acts 11:22
Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

Acts 12:5
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Acts 13:1
Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Acts 14:23
And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Acts 15:4

Islam › Re: Did Satan Give Allah's Prophet Revelation? by dexmond(op): 6:56am On Jun 11, 2009
@ Olabowale.

You Know very well that a lot of things about the prophet are not in the quran itself. His Personal life, military expeditions, his career as a prophet etc. It was not just Ibn ishaq that recorded this incidence, Al-tabari did likewise.

Ths is what Al-tabari recorded:

When the Messenger of God saw how his tribe turned their backs on him and was grieved to see them shunning the message he had brought to them from God, he longed in his soul that something would come to him from God which would reconcile him with his tribe. With his love for his tribe and his eagerness for their welfare it would have delighted him if some of the difficulties which they made for him could have been smoothed out, and he debated with himself and fervently desired such an outcome. Then God revealed: "By the Star when it sets, ", and when he came to the words: "Have you considered El-Lat and El-'Uzza and Manat the third, the other?", Satan cast onto his tongue, because of his inner debates, and what he desired to bring to his people, the words, "Those are the high-flying cranes; verily their intercession is accepted with approval", Then Gabriel came to the Messenger of God and said, "Muhammad, what have you done? You have recited to the people that which I did not bring you from God, and you have said that which was not said to you." Then the Messenger of God was much greived and feared God greatly, but God sent down a revelation to him (Qur'an 22:52), for He was merciful to him, (The History of al-Tabari, translated by W. M. Watt and M. V. McDonald, vol. 6, page 108, 109)

If the record is not true how come Sahih Bukhari recorded the fact that both the pagan, the jinns, and the prophet bowed when the prophet ricited the suratul-an-Najm. Note that prior to this ayat, the Quraysh people did not accept him until he recorgnised their Goddesses which was a serious compromise.

Sahih Bukhari 6:60:385

Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet performed a prostration when he finished reciting Surat-an-Najm, and all the Muslims and pagans and Jinns and human beings prostrated along with him.

Moreover the word crane is "al-Gharaniq al-ula"

Does there exist a probability that Satan could have interfere with the entire Quran ?
