Qur'an. Surah 12:20 tells us:
They sold him [Joseph] for a miserable price, for a few dirhams counted out [darahima ma‘dudatin]; in such low estimation did they hold him!

There was nothing like dirhams during that time, what they had was gold, silver and some precious stones! If you want more I will show you.

I actually desire to see a decent society. But the shariah is not the solution. You know it is nearly impossible to adapt the shariah to this modern age.

Al-Daarqatni quoted Muhammad in the Sunan as having said, "Neither the slaves nor the people of the Book are under any huduud." This hadith means that if a Muslim deliberately kills another Muslim, he will receive capital punishment . But if a Christian deliberately kills a Muslim, he will not receive legal punishment , but a less severe punishment (taziir), which is basically a heavy beating.

Ayesha, the mother of believers, reported, "I heard Muhammad say, ‘The stealer's hand is to be cut off only if what he stole is worth a quarter of a dinar (two dirhams) and beyond that’’.
How do you intend to apply the above?

So, you are commanded to practically separate from your wives as you can see in the hadith below.
But I still wonder why the prophet will handle her wife when she is in his period! Jesus the saviour never did this kind of thing. I think it is jesus' lifestyle that men should follow.

What did the Quranic verse 2;222 say? Dont penetrate virginally your wife who is in her period! It not say dont come near her as if to touch her, caress her, hold her, handle her, kiss her or other sexual enjoyment that are otherwise permissable! I think you need the ability to read to understand. First, I sleep beside my wife in her time of monthly menses. i hold her, and do whatever husband do when he sleeps. i do not shy away from the same bed we usually use when she is not in her menses. I do behave exactly the same way.

Mind game! the quran did not say anything about penetration but rather, don't go near her. if I have time I will look up Yusuf's alli version.

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Aswad:
(on the authority of his father) 'Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Apostle wanted to handle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start handling her." 'Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet could." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 6, Number 299; see also Number 300)

Question.: Why give a law in allah’s name and break the law whereas you are the custodian of the law.
I believe allah’s apostle was used to lead people away from the true God. But the deceptions were not properly executed. How will you explain the above hadithst o people?

Jehovah alone is God, He took upon him the human flesh so he could pay once and for all the penalty for their sins instead of the everyday sacrifice of the levitical priests. Salvation is in JESUS alone, for it is not impossible for God to take human form!

Christians don't war against humans. The song is for the christians to be courageous and face the devil.

Has the city ever witnessed religous riot? If yes, there is the probability of a historical rewind. If no, been situated in the north where there is a conspiracy to shariarize everyone, there exist a probability of religous disturbance.

what about people who were born into a muslim home who leave islam? Is it their fault to have been born so?

It is not a secret, everybody is aware that the price for renouncing islam is death.

My brother, the question is not about Olabowale been economical with the truth or not. The fact remains, how little the professors of the Islamic faith knew about their religion. Thank God for the religion thread that has challenged them to at least search their scriptures to see some revelations that hitherto were not known.

The hadd (islamic punishment) for apostasy is death. There is an aparent contradiction on what to do.

Abd-Allah ibn Masood said: The Messenger of Allah said: “It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim who bears witness that there is no god except Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah, except in one of three cases: a soul (in case of murder); a married person who commits adultery; and one who leaves his religion and separates from the main body of Muslims.” Sahih Al Bukhary number 6484 and Sahih Muslim number 1676

I worship not that which ye worship,

What should we do? The sunna of allah's apostle said the person should die, but the quran the word of allah said "to you be your way"

It means spreading Islam by violence as directed by the quran in the following scriptures:

2:216 "Fighting is prescribed for you and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But God knoweth and ye know not."

2:224 "Then fight in the cause of God and know that God heareth and knoweth all things."

3:157-158 "And if ye are slain or die in the way of God, forgiveness and mercy from God are far better than all they could amass. And if ye die, or are slain, Lo! It is unto God that ye are brought together."

3:169 "Think not of those who are slain in God's way as dead. Nay, they live finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord."

3:195 ", Those who have , fought or been slain, verily I will blot out from them their iniquities and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath; a reward from the presence of God , "

4:101 ", For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies."

4:74, 75 "Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of God whether he is slain or gets victory, soon shall we give him a reward of great (value). Those who believe fight in the cause of God and those who reject faith fight in the cause of evil, so fight ye against the friends of Satan, feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan."

4:89 "They but wish that ye should reject faith as they do, and thus be on the same footing as they. But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of God. But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them…"

4:95 "Not equal are those believers who sit at (at home) and receive no hurt and those who strive and fight in the cause of God with their goods and their persons. God hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than those who sit (at home).

5:36 "The punishment of those who wage war against God and His apostle and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land. That is their disgrace in this world and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter."

5:54 "O ye who believe. Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors. They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust."

8:12-17 "Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you. Give firmness to the believers. I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips off them. This because they contend against God and his apostle. If any contend against God and his apostle, God is strict in punishment , O ye who believe. When ye meet the unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. If any do turn his back to them on such a day, unless it be a stratagem of war , he draws on himself the wrath of God and his abode is Hell, an evil refuge (indeed)."

8:59-60 "Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly). They will never frustrate (them). Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of God and your enemies and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom God doth know , "

8:65 "O apostle! Rouse the believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred. If a hundred they will vanquish a thousand of the unbelievers, for these are a people without understanding."

9:5 ", fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war) , "

9:14 "Fight them, and God will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame , "

9:29 "Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and his apostle nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth (even if they are) of the people of the Book, until they pay the Jizya [religious tax] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

47:4 "Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers, smite at their necks, at length when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them) , but if it had been God's will, he could certainly have exacted retribution from them (himself), but (he lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the way of God, he will never let their deeds be lost."

61:4 "Truly God loves those who fight in His cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure."

Every true believer should put Helen Ukpabio and some other people in prayer as the kingdom of darkness is not happy with her considering the investment they made in her. They've fought but could not overcome, but they will not rest.

Eternal God, you said in the scriptures that “the gate of hell will not prevail against the church”,

Lord, having called this woman out of a great darkness to light, I know you will not abandon her, more so now that she needs you most.

The kingdom of darkness has set up the Nigerian government against her and her ministry in order to pull her down.

Lord, we know you are faithful, the battle is yours, no power will be able to do her harm.

Please read the testimony of Helen Ukpabio who was an instrument in the sect before she encountered a greater power than the power given to her when she was initiated into the inner-circle. as far as my research about the quran is concernerd, i have not seen a passage of the quran that talks of textual corruption but rather people interpreting to suit their whims.

is the old testament not part of the bible?

If the bible is not God's word, how will you explain the numerous prophecies whereas in the quran you just find may be two guess works?

can you list just 5 of the miracles that are contained in the quran that God performed through him? pls don't give me stories from the hadith nor tell me that the quran itself is a miracle.

If one is a born-again believer, and is experincing wet dreams, then something is wrong with his profession. If you have lust for the opposite sex in your hearth, the chances of one experiencing wet dreams will increase. And if you have a wife of your own, and you find out you are experiencing it, then the culprit could be an inter-dimensional being that seek gratification with you. You may not believe, because it is nothing in your faith.

Christianity is not in competition against Islam, but we've been commanded to reach out to the perishing. The perishing are those who do not know the Truth about Man's purpose on earth, his problem of sin, his destination at death, the role been played by the unseen world of darkness, The redemtion plan and so many other things too numerous to mention.

Do you know that if your spirit is pure you can not have wet dream? You need to really pray very hard because some forces are manipulating your spirit by having sex with you in your sleep.

Or could muslims have fabricated the story in other to satisfy the question of the jews who said he should produce a miracle like the other prophets before him to show he was from God ?

Question: Will allah ask Yahya to take hold of a corrupt book?

Ali `Imran 3:48

"And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel."

Question: Will God teach a corrupt Torah and gospel?

Al-Tahrim 66:12

And Mary the daughter of `Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into her (body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (Servants)."

Question: Will Mary testify of a corrupted revelations?

Ali `Imran) 3:49-50

Jesus says, "I have come to you, attesting to (the truth of) what is between my hands of the Torah, and to make lawful to you a part of that which is forbidden to you."

Question: Will Jesus attest to a fake Book?

Al-Saff 61:6

"And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: `Oh Children of Israel! I am the apostle of God to you, confirming that which IS between my hands from the Torah, '"

Question: Was a fake book that Jesus confirmed?

Al-Ma'ida 5:49

"And in their footsteps (of Moses and the Jews) We sent Jesus the son of Mary, attesting to (the truth of) the Torah which was between his hands; and We gave him the Gospel - therein is guidance and light and attesting to (the truth of) the Torah which was between his hands: a guidance and an admonition to the righteous."

Question: Can there be guidance and light in a corrupted book?

Al-Ma'ida 5:113.

"Then will God say, `O Jesus son of Mary! Recount my favor to you and to your mother when I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit, so that you spoke to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught you the Book and Wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel,

Question: Do you believe that God will teach Jesus a fake Book?

The bible says that the only way to heaven is repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ, otherwise you are on your way to hell!
God forbids! Acts of the apostle 12:4

I am a christian, I support the idea that Muslims should study the Quran and especially the Hadiths. I don't mean just reciting it, I mean Quran study like we do during Bible study. We take the bible and study it, ask questions and pray.When you have done it then your eyes will "open". Take for instance, if not because I study the Quran and the hadiths, how do you think I Quote those scriptures that a lot of Muslims never knew exist.

Jesus was not carried. Satan led him to be tempted so he could distract him from the original assignment. But he did not yield. He accomplished his assignment which resulted in eternal salvation for everyone including you.
