So the selection of a party's candidate is the decision of the whole people? I thought it's the party that will select their own candidate and present to the people.
Mercury12: Oga no talk too much. GRV mother is from anambra. He is half Igbo. So what happens to supporting him for any elective post in his mother state? Igbos really needs to do this to teach Yorubas a lesson
oyin44: Ibos, living with the people you don't like is not by force..
At least , you are not the only tribe living among the Yoruba people in lagos. .
And , if any of you felt that he or she is being cheated...
instead of constituting nuisance to the society. .abeg leave
The post said they wanted to vote but the thugs said they should not vote. What wrong was done here? I hope you understand that most conflict in Africa is as result of things of this nature.
Mercury12: this one dey disguise... Support and elect chinedu in anambra that is all. Show Yorubas you people are not tribalistic like them
Let's address the issue. The point OP made about gathering and supporting GRV Does not make any sense. My reason was presented in my initial post. All you have to say is disguise. I though you will bring forward reason why you supported OP position.
No one gathered to determine who the parties will field as their candidate. It was after they have been nominated that the people decided whom they will support.
Maize247: These people are only joking, Ibo should just stop meddling into Yoruba affair if they don't want Lagos to be too hot for them. They have woken the sleeping bigot in Yoruba with their arrogance
The question that is begging for answer is whether a citizen residing outside their state of origin is entitled to vote at their place of residence as a Nigerian. If such person is entitled to vote, can that be termed as interference in the election of any candidate?
Incognito21: You’re right, I just want to know if anyone here have similar experience, want to be sure before I’ll try and create an event, I’m hoping probably tonight that’s if the moon will be out
Demon's are very deceptive. They will appear friendly at first before you know it, they will start attacking you. If you fail any deadline or covenant they wont hear pleading.
Please can you explain how Agbero and Iyaloga is a Yoruba way?
It is actually a Yoruba way. I remember reading a scholary work by a professor from unilag. He tried to trace the history of agbero phenomenon in the SW.
Touting and hooliganism are actually Yoruba ways. Not meant to disparage the Yorubas. I am only basing my opinion on the uncited work. Maybe next time I will pay my hand on that body of work.
I totally agree that Sanwo should go one more time. But my problem is that, Sanwo will continue working with people who are making life difficult for everyone- burning and demolishing businesses, xenophobia sponsored by the government, deliberate targeting of a section of a section of the country. I am torn between him and GRV.
Sanwolu's stride in infrastructual developments makes me want to align with him.
If they did not use their thugs next Saturday, I will vote for him. I am sure that after the election, his party will learn not to take the electorate for granted.
As fore the Igbos, no one can do anything about it as far as Nigeria remains. The ONLY way to solve the problem effectively and efficiently is to support the exit of Ndigbo from Nigeria.
PointB: Please have you seen Satan before? How does he/she/it look?
Ask American celebrities who use their own mouth to tell us how they sold their souls to Satan. I believe they were of sound mind when they say these things on TV. Ask them.
World Igbo Congress is very ignorant of how the world operates. These people have refused to understand or blatantly ignored some basic facts.
When you try to get the attention of US President using Christianity you have undone yourself! These people are Satan worshipers. They don't support justice, good, things that are right. They are are incapable of such due to their occultism. They are trying to empower the followers of Hubaal to continue to ensure that Christianity struggles. Thats why they make lots of noise when followers of Hubaal are treated badly but keep quiet on genocide against Christians around the world.
When I saw armed robberies in the 70s when Oyenusi was in charge of the Lagos underworld, you know its falsehood.
People that just wanted to do their business are the people you said have an agenda. Is it through Ohaneze or through individual effort?
Igbo have a right to vote for any political party as far as Nigeria remains. They will vote for someone who will make the economic environment friendly.
romunu: No response from the apex church in Italy or, are these messages/happenings not reaching there? Definitely I know some of our offerings get there.
Do a little research into the history of the apex church to understand why. You can start by typing top ten most evil pope's in history into Google. Then type father Alberto Rivera, former Jesuit priest. Continue on YouTube on inquisitions
ElSudani: The Ibos selling all types of wares on our roads and highways what permission do they have?
It is for this reason that task force sometimes go after them. Your argument again is disingenuous. Someone hawking wares in traffic should not be compared to terrorists in the forests in Ondo state.
I know you did not agree with Aketi when he asked Amotekun to flush out criminals in the forests of Ondo State.
ElSudani: If you have the permission to use the land. These folks are living in straw huts with their family and yet you callously burned everything down. But you can come to Lagos to shout one Nigeria! Such hypocrisy.
You have qualified your statement by saying if you have permission.
Ever seen where herdsmen seek permission to graze on your land in ibarapa?
What about these folks you burn down their huts? Were they aso doing open grazing?
While not supporting violence metted out on the people, pls confirm, if one can go to someones land and build a house there without paying for or permitted to use the land?
MrPRevailer: W.E.F (World Economic Forum) is the Cabal you didn't know about. In February conference 2023 at Davos, they celebrated defeating Hyper-populists (people's choice) worldwide. They have a global agenda for a One world government and financial system and religion by year 2030.
Thats why I pity people who expect "Int'l community" to intervene in local politics. The people do not even know that the Int'l community and the various UN agents are complicit in their predicament.
OneCandleAway: Ogbeni I am complaining. Lagos is heavily taxed. Its just too much and makes the cost of everything expenses. From road tax, agbero tax, lastma e.t.c abeg we need a change. If APC are assured to controlling lagos for ever they will keep making us suffer. There are a lot of wattages and leakages in lagos so no need to tax us to death.
We are all paying the taxes and its painful. But the people love it.
Most of my landlord children are wasted Touts. They cant manage their fathers estate.
Just recently in my hood, they erected a very big banner of a common Tout as hero of our city! This is the values of the people.
