Top of the day Friends, URGENT ADVICE NEEDED PLS

I have just done an online application to the Nigerian high commision for renewal of my passport.
I saw one is no longer allowed to book appointments but advised to strictly attend the date provided on the payment receipt

I applied on 14th June and was given a date on the 22nd June.
I have never been there before, Moreso I am not familiar with London.

Can one call them to defer this date? What is the most convenient way to travel to london from West midlands ..Train or drive ?, I would actually prefer driving because of the COVID pandemic but I have heard a lot about driving in London, What about car park?
What time is best to arrive at the embassy?

Thanks

Pls urgent Info needed,

My current tier 2 COS/VISA expires in 2 months and I have found an employer ready to issue me another COS for another tier 2 visa.
My question is - Will I be applying for a new tier 2 application or extending current application?
(2) Do I need evidence of English language?, TB certificate? police clearance? as I did for my first tier 2 application?

Thanks

You will hve to use the statement of the person u hve mentioned on the form as the sponsor of the trip.
Thats a must. Even though for visit visa appli, supporting documents can never be too much as far as they are genuine

When I applied for my MIL, she was given at first attempt while my mum got on second attempt..my MIL used 3 months statement while my mum used 6 months..the former had a migration history while the latter had none

Morale: many factors are considered by ECO before decision making.

Hope this helps

You can use a statement covering a 5 month period, anything shorter will be taking a risk...I believe the statements amongst other things help to show your spending and saving habits. To be able to sponsor a relative you are expected to have decent saving and spending habits.

My advice in this case will be to wait to get a clean account statement of at least 5 months before sponsorship...Also, if you move funds from the salary account to save in another account you should also add a statement of accounts from the savings account to show the movement of funds.

However the key in Visa applications is to be able to explain yourself properly in you cover letter. It is adviced to add a cover letter with subtitles explaining every detail in your application (then on the online application state that you have a more detailed cover letter attached to the supporting documents)[/quote]
