i have written a 3-5 page detailed letter to the president on this which will require little fact check and editing and we can pay 1k or 500h each to raise about 200k to print it in punch. lets see how the abuja outing goes sha...i believe this will send a strong message to all concerned and wide coverage too. if we can get 200 boi applicants we can do this...

How about an open letter to the president on this YES-P? I think if we can sponsor it on punch newspaper or one of the media houses..we will get desired result, that is if we are ready to sponsor it in any print media houses...it willtake a whole page in Punch newspaper..everyone that needs to hear will hear about it asap.

after offer letter...its is a post approval condition. without it,disbursement wont take place

The letter of offer really made a lot of people excited, as if without guarantor BOI is going to give anybody money.

2 offer letters[3.7M and 5M], myself and a friend but we couldn't get guarantors up till now...How many people since this programme commenced have actually completely met the guarantors criteria and money disbursed to them... i believe the vision of this programme is defeated if 50 percent cant make it..we have over 1200 from each batch, i really want to be sure if they are up to 10 across the whole nation that have fully provided a guarantor and cash disbursed after their offer from BOI since inception of YES.

THE Worst that can happen to anyone is seeing your offer letter after months of commitments and hardwork but you cant meet one of the major conditions[guarantor].

You are complaining about the government, when will you start a campaign against pipeline bombing, to bereft your government of excuses like the CJTF is doing against boko haram?

Who is this one now.Are you educated than some of us? Are as read as some of us? Are you diligent as some of us? Do you think these are jobless people? These are youths in pain because BOI changed the rules half way into a major programme like this luring and cajoling many to invest everything and later come up with stringent conditions which was never ever disclosed initially and you are here talking rubbish. Nobody beg them to help the youths, they came out with the initial conditions and they should maintain that. Many youths joined the programme because of the initial conditions.

this is a different one, specially organised and thats why the conditions at initial stage was different

Your experience just confirmed that BOI are doing well and have learnt from past mistakes.
Remember the Jonathan YOUWIN programme, many that collected the money used it for something different from the business.
If you are genuine and real, you will look for those that around you that believe in you and they will stand as your guarantor.
5M is not 500M nor 50M, rather than complain on NL, go to work and get those that stand for you and get rich following your dream.

May I tell you, more than 90% of those that tell you they can't get guarantor may have gotten guarantors, don't be a loser.

the problem is why must you hide the key terms at the initial stage and allow young entrepreneurs to flow into the programme and thereby changing the terms...its about why change the terms after cajolling many into the programme

after many invested all their time, resources, it is disheartening that no one has benefited so far just because of this harsh guarantors condition many can never meet. wasted my precious time on this programme doing assignment,taking lectures online ,writing a robust bankable proposal but nothing to show...i cant say wasted efforts.

Only God can help us. It is really sad. I'm virtually stuck with getting guarantors. I said it earlier that this programme will fail. Even the FG knows this and it is the reason BIG was started. God help me though because I must collect the money.

I think you should reduce the loan amount you're requesting for. To this point, the guarantor requirement that has been asked of me are guarantors worth N3.4m each presenting a notarized statement of net worth. Nothing was said about dropping land receipt.

The pain is why do you have to lie about the conditions and allow thousands to come in before introducing a major condition only 2% of participants can meet. They should have made the two 5m guarantor security public from day 1.

I will just advice young entrepreneurs not to be discouraged because when they get there, they will be. I will also advice many yet to start to think through and be sure they have capacity to produce 2 guarantors who will drop the receipt of their properties. BOI will not take your certificate as security as earlier made to believe.

I know many after giving all that are now discouraged and tired of the programme due to some of these new conditions by BOI. Programme like this should be handle by Federal govt. BOI is no different from commercial bank. They are not doing any thing different.

The YES programme is a waste of time aside the training. BOI wasted many precious time.Not one person i know of have benefited across the nation since June when it started. Why? I guess many were deceived into the scheme by BOI by not revealing that one must produce two 5m guarantor who must be ready to drop the receipt of the property. They initially told us our certificate is the security but it's not true.
