Even when they tried to bully him into retracting the allegation. He stood his ground. OBJ stood by his man Someone agrees with me. El-Rufai, late Dora, Soludo - Obasanjo surely worked with some smart dudes. Hands down men (woman) who knew their job description to the letter. |

Ddokie: Sincerely, Will you be willing to pay 30% to 40% of your income as tax to a government that specializes in embezzlement of public funds?
I won’t.
All Nigerian businesses evade tax in one way or the other. And if you have a business presently, you are doing the same as we speak. If you will have a business in future, you will do the same. Since you have already judged and condenmed me, then no need to give a response since it won't change your mindset. |

Don't compare it to this, Obi is a thief like every other IPOB It seems you have a problem with group you mentioned? Go and discuss with them. Just like yetmao said, no one is clean. I don't defend politicians because they are all dirty. It's as simple as that. |

Authority1o1: Okay...
You've been warned. So the next time you want to buy frozen chicken, ask your supplier if it was smuggled. If he answers in the affirmative, relay what NAFDAC has advised to your supplier. Then leave his shop. Very wise NAFDAC.
Also, since Formalin is hazardous to us, before buying we should be sure to turn those frozen chicken over to see a tag that says 'Smuggled. Please do not consume. Contains Formalin'. Once you spot this tag, be responsible enough to walk out of that supplier's shop. Your health is priceless.
It's just like my bank telling me to inspect the cash they've given to me, because people have been depositing counterfeit money to them. You've made my day. And it has not even started. Why exactly stops them from going to inspect the Formalin themselves. Random sampling is allowed. Bark but no bite. |

Politics › Re: Adamawa, Kaduna, Plateau Move To Join FIRS In VAT Collection Tussle Suit by dfrost: 9:29am On Oct 04, 2021 |
Nnannapat: . But if they are looking at retaliatory taxation of the South if the VAT issue goes in favour of the South, they can impose a levy of say 50,000 per truck of farm produce that originates from their various states, while the South will equally do so on petroleum products, imported goods and machinery and farm produce that originated from theirs, that way it will be a win win situation for everyone. Nobody hates the North, just that the North needs to wake up and partner with the South to modernize governance, Nigeria can’t continue like this. I almost typed this but kept reading to see if anyone has made the point already and there you are. Thanks for this. It will be a win-win when we start looking at the bigger picture and not the human. There are so many methods and ways to generate VAT but our governors are too lazy to look inwards. |

Military in sane climes: 1. Help during natural disasters 2. Help during looming economic upheaval (e.g. the UK fuel crisis) 3. Help to transport relief materials
Military in insane climes: 1. Abuse the rights of those they are supposed to defend 2. Ride free (by force) in public transports 3. Enjoy all amenities and rights (by force), veterans or not 4. Pour dirty water on citizens
Not saying those in sane climes don't act unjustly atimes but they obey the call to defend, protect and help the citizens. Those other ones have to act insane first before sane.
So the norm becomes the exception, the exception becomes the norm. |

natznext: He's actually the only Northern Governor prepared for this, he's already working to increase his IGR, look at the charts he has risen several level, they just finished KadInvest, multiple FDIs, infrastructure upgrade, trust me he won't lose sleep over this, He knows the South won't continue to babysit them forever, him and SLS has been talking about this since forever You got this right about El-Rufai. Sometimes hate for a person can make us blind to see their strengths. He demolished my aunt and uncle's houses in Abuja. But hate him or love, he still has some level of intelligence in him. He and SLS have it in them. The weakness they have is the surrounding influence. I'm sure SLS will be regretting some actions he did as a youth. Same goes for most of us. Like they say, family comes first. Don Vito to Santino (Sony). |
