This is serious. It is now all man for himself. How does the topic relate to the image attached. A picture is worth ten thousand words they say. That picture attached has images of people. It can easily be misunderstood for the so-called "gunmen". We can as well pass a news without an image if it is not related. So that innocent lives will not be caught in what they don't know about. |
Necrophilia. Some animals do this. A human doing this. Some humans are animals. *spits* ![]() |
Welcome back Xavi! ![]() |
pharmagba:Like I said, he might be different things to anyone of us but he has made his decision. Let's respect him for that. |
![]() Just unfortunate. Confirmed too. ![]() |
Hmm... He has made his point known. He should be respected for that. Not everyone of us wants anything to do with politics. Respect to Debo. Association of Skit Makers Industry or what is that? ![]() |
wolesmile:He has also been performing as a good coach too. Not the best yet, but he understands the coaching job. |
Good development on the awareness yesterday. Most people I knew that trade at CV, Ikeja didn't bother coming out. On the other hand, that place is a populated area. Something should be done about this issue else it might escalate further than this in the future. A stitch in time saves nine. |
I understand ICPC's role in bringing those that did this to book. DSS? I don't get. It seems I am getting senile. Can someone refresh my memory on DSS role again? The below was culled from Wikipedia. The State Security Service (SSS), self-styled as the Department of State Services (DSS),[1] is a security agency of Nigeria and one of three successor organisations to the National Security Organization (NSO). The agency is under the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and it reports its activities to the office of the NSA. Its main responsibilities are within the country and include counter-intelligence, internal security, counter-terrorism, and surveillance as well as investigating some other types of serious crimes against the state. It is also charged with the protection of senior government officials, particularly the President, Vice President, state governors and visiting heads of states and governments with their respective families. Mandate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_Security_Service_(Nigeria)#Mandate The mission of the SSS is to protect and defend the Federal Republic of Nigeria against domestic threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of Nigeria, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to both federal and state law-enforcement organs. The SSS is also charged with the protection of the President, Vice President, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives, State Governors, their immediate families, other high ranking government officials, former presidents and their spouses, certain notable candidates for the offices of President, Vice President and Governors, and visiting foreign heads of state and government. The SSS has constantly adapted to various roles necessitated by evolving security threats in Nigeria including counter-terrorism and counter-insurgent. ROLES AND FUNCTIONS OF SSS https://www.dss.gov.ng/dss_about The State Security Service (SSS) is enabled to perform its roles and functions chiefly by Instrument SSS No.1 of 1999 made pursuant to Section 6 of the National Security Agencies (NSA) Act 1986 Cap. 74, LFN 2004. It is worthy to note that over the years, other decrees (Decree No. 16 of 1976 and Decree 19 of 1986) charged the Agency with roles and functions that are very similar in content. These include but not limited to the following; a. Prevention and Detection of any crime against the internal security of Nigeria; b. Protection and Preservation of all non-military classified matters concerning the internal security of Nigeria; c. Prevention, Detection and Investigation of threats of Espionage, Subversion, Sabotage, Terrorism, Separatist agitations, Inter-group conflicts, Economic crimes of National security dimension and threats to law and order; d. Provision of protective security for designated principal Government functionaries, sensitive installations and visiting dignitaries; e. Provision of timely advice to Government on all matters of National security interest and f. Such other functions as may, from time to time, be assigned to it. |

![]() Is there something fundamentally wrong with an average Nigerian? ![]() |
From the comments on this thread, it really shows how battered the average Nigerian's conscience is. I really pity Nigerians. |
MITCHELL96:You don't want them to manage it well? How can you come up with such a thought? Not good at all. I'm happy for the people of Anambra. They deserve better. Drenching of River Niger should have done years ago. |
Really tragic and unfortunate. |

And men are getting MBA, MSc. from across the oceans and we still don't want to adopt or try out innovations? Amazon just declared that almost all their employees can now work from home. The cost effectiveness of studying online can't be overemphasised. 1. Build your own lab (the school doesn't need to do that for you) 2. You don't have to pay for rent (your parents/guardians accommodation can suffice) 3. You can acquire a skill and hustle on the side (is that not what our brothers do in western countries?) 4. Parents and guardians get to checkmate their wards associates. Should we go on? We need to move beyond this attitude. Nations, corporations are moving on with the new normal and we are stuck with a nomadic one? Like someone opined, what is JAMES business with Regulations, that's NUC's forte. How did we get here, for crying our loud. |
sisisioge:Wetin I commit for your hand na... ![]() |
kingthreat:Exactly kingthreat. If people take time to research, they will the truth. Comestics won't save face when one hits the pool. It will surely wash off. |
