You see a distressed woman who just lost 2 children under such tragic circumstances going to buy poison, and you say you didn't know what she was going to do with it?
Very stupid, sick and wicked people. Most people have lost it. I often quarrel with my family members when they don't check up on other family members.

You will send SMS, no reply.
You will call, they will miss it and won't bother calling back.
Send WhatsApp, they will read and will not respond.

Time for wedding and aso-ebi, and they will start looking for money. Never again.

Suicide is not an option. You can't take what you can't give. From the narration, they saw her with sniper and didn't move fast enough to help her? That's wicked.

True, I am even guilty of this.
Thanks for owning up. We all need that support. The human race/family is passing through one of the most difficult times in history where morals have been thrown to the wind.

People are really passing through a lot. A colleague of mine wanted to resign yesterday citing health reasons and he was always missing from work at least once a week. Already he confided in me that he has sickle cells.

The dad called me and told me to disregard his thoughts. That sometimes he makes rash decisions.

I spoke to my line manager to listen to him. We both sat down and asked him his reasons.

Poor soul was going gaga. In fact delusional. Talking about the blood moon and the world coming to an end. How he had a calling and he doesn't want the calling. How he had a recent diagnosis that showed he has 18 months to live. We had to burst into laughter momentarily.

To cut the long story short, we gave him a sick leave of 5 days to rest. Support structure is needed for everyone.

One act of irresponsiility has now ended families. The owner of that building should be jailed
Also if any of your loved ones is going through a traumatic period. it is good you check up on them, be with them. Give them reasons to move on.
In Africa, especially Nigeria we have thrown away the family support. Imagine family members not checking up on you only to remember you exist when it is time to buy aso-ebi. angry huh undecided

Before you take this silly decision in NIGERIA,
First of all ask yourself

1. will my mother in law agree?
2. Will my father in law agree?
3. Will my husband's sisters agree?
4. Will my parents agree?
5. Will my mum's pastor agree?
6. Will Mike my elder brother agree?
7. Will our church youth agree?
8. Will the decorator agree?
9. Will our village youth agree?
10. Will our landlord agree?
11. Will my Facebook group (poshness bae) agree?

In oyibo land, wedding is between two consenting adults.
In Nigeria, wedding is between two families trying to out-do everyother humans.

The couple can't take any decisions.

delugajackson:
Perhaps the law enforcement agents are tired of running after them all the time. Sometimes its just plain ignorance that makes people do things like this.

Impatience is another factor too, as everyone seems to be in a rush without really taking precautionary measures. Some on the other hand are just stingy people who would rather take that risk in order to escape paying the driver, at the expense of their lives. People need to be enlightened on dangers of undertaking deadly missons such as these.
deluga, why should they get tired? People that are paid from tax payers money to keep us safe? I agree with you but that was why they agreed to take the job in the first place. If they are tired, then they should give the job to someone else.

I always advice, husbands, if u catch ur wife in d act, run away and leak d info to both families. A WIFE CAUGHT IS RUTHLESS. She can kill to cover up d shame. A man that loves his life shouldn't form Rambo or Braun Strowman.
True to that.

I don't really think we should cast all the blame on her because she didn't call for the interview. Jobless social media people accosted her and interviewed her. It's was like forcing answers out of her indirectly knowing she will fall for the the victim syndrome.

Speak for yourself, many schools are unable to finish their SS calendar in 3 years and you want it shortened to 2 years?

If I may ask, where are the kids running to?

The essence of education is to gain knowledge and not to set a record of who graduates at the youngest age..

I've seen kids who were forced to repeat the year by parents and they ended up becoming the best in their subsequent classes because of that singular act..

NO Knowledge is wasted and if you have to spend two years extra to be well grounded,I as a parent would not hesitate to have my children spend the full allotted years for their education..
God bless you for this brother man.
