@stell101 Thank you very much I really appreciate your explanation my main issue is with the appointment for Biometric, I am curious and will want to know if all appointment have to be paid for, because I can see any free apointment except for the prime and flexi appointment.

steel101:
You will have to make the payment for either the prime or flex at their office on appointment date before biometrics.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 3:34pm On Apr 08, 2019
Thank you very much I really appreciate, So after uploading the entire document do I still need to pay for the Prime or Flex appointment before biometrics.

Since their is no free date available and am sure the document will not be treated if the Biometric is not been captured please explain.

steel101:
After selecting self service and scheduling appointment, make sure you proceed to check out in order to save your chosen appointment date. You will be taken to a page where you will see links like TRACK and UPLOAD. Click the upload link and it will take you to another page called the edossier. On that page you will be guided on how to upload document. You can also download the guide from that page. Make sure all your supporting document are uploaded and previewed before you submit them. This exercise must be done before you attend your appointment for capture and biometrics. Simply put, you have to get a computer to do this yourself at home before going for appointment.

Accepted if you scan the document yourself where will you upload the scan document to. I pretty dont understand but 100% willing to learn, will you be give a computer or a laptop to work with at the submission centre to scan the document or you scan the document before you get to the submission centre and which website will upload the scan document too.

Am pretty sure Flash drive or CD Rom wouldnt be accepted paying 10,000Naira for the assisted service is still fare enough that could be accepted as their service charges because I know VFS charge service charges of 9,250 also but am worried about the Flexi and Prime Appointment.

Is their a way I can get a Free date without paying for the Prime/Flexi Service.

Thank you.
TonyyS:
why dont you try to scan the documents Urself?

@justwise

Good day Gurus in the house.

I have been trying to book an appointment with TLS but I could see their is no free apointment.

Is it compulsory now that all appointment but be prime or Flex apointment,I was lucky to see a 12.30 appointment without no payment I booked it and the next day I checked the appointment have been removed.

I just want to know if it's now compulsory that TLS must be paid because I realized even for the Assisted service you will pay them 10,000Naira for the scanning of the document and for the self service they indicate you can your document yourself please how do one go about that and how can one get a free date.

My own suggestion I think it's quite ridiculous to pay a Third party like TLS 38,000 for Prime appointment and 42,000 for Flex appointment which is the only date showing up.

Gurus in the house please help out need assistance

@menakay Goodday and appreciate your comment any advice on how to go about it , I mean how can the decision be countered.

Your advice will be appreciated.

Menakay:
This is a minor issue, this decision can be countered and then make a fresh application.

@justwise Thank you very much for the enlightenment I really appreciate and I think I understand better will reduce my budget and give it a shot

justwise:
[/b]

Yes and make use of the blank space to explain that you use your current account for both savings and salary
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 11:41pm On Mar 18, 2019
@justwise thank you very much sir, sorry to bother you, but just one more clarification sir, I use just one (1) account for both my saving and salary account.

So in this case do I need to remove any amount aside or I write the total clearer balance in my statement of account as at when filling form.

justwise:
Write down the whole amount and submit both bank accounts, you also have the blank space in the form for additional info about those two accounts if you wish to add more info.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 2:10pm On Mar 18, 2019
@justwise

Thank you very much sir I really appreciate the enlightenment.

Sir so just to clarify something sir if I have an account balance of 2,1m in my bank account (salary and saving) under the section written do you have any saving or investment, Sir if I click on savings will I write the whole money in my account converted to pounds and write in the colum or I will have to deduct my 2 month salary and write the remaining amount in pounds.

Thank you and God bless Sir

justwise:
Yes money in your bank account is your savings and that is what that section is referring to.

Reducing your overall cost will help your application as long as your budget is realistic. If you get a cheaper ticket or hotel then indicate it the way you did here.

So yes you can give it a go or try France as you mentioned before
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 7:16pm On Mar 17, 2019
@justwise thank you and I really appreciate.

I am thinking of going back to Paris for 2019 summer since UK have decided to be like this.

But sir the money in my bank account which have even increased from the 1.8m submitted to 2m is my saving and salary account is that not explainable because the money is readily available for me and it was in the bank statement submitted and can the money in the bank statement be indicated as my savings.

Also sir what if my reduced my budget because I just checked online now and even found a cheap ticket for 176k from Los to Gatwick via Turkish airline so with that can i reduce the budget and get a cheap hotel in some dome. Will that help boost my chances.

Thanks so much appreciate.

justwise:
The focus here is on your salary mainly and that budget is going to blow up almost 4months of your salary.

Share and landed property are not savings, that section is talking about cash savings.

You may try another country for holiday
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 2:31am On Mar 17, 2019
Thank you for the update the true cost of the expenditure k budgeted according to my calculation is stated below sir

Air ticket Mother + Infant = 265,420
Transport one week travel card = 23,000
Sight seeing = 40,000
Shopping = 100,000
Accomodation Hotel = 150,000
Feeding = 50,000
Total = 620,000

This was the initial budget I have in mind when I submitted but now I am planning on reducing everything to fit in my 2 month salary which is 346,700 dont know how to go about this but it seems weird to me been saving and have the cash available to spend but I just don't know what to do will appreciate your assistance.

Also sir if I click on I the attached what do I fill their if i have shares and landed document.

justwise:
Do you have a breakdown of the trip expenditure? That will help you determine the true cost of the trip.

Do that and see where you can take away money from so as to reduce the cost.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 2:41pm On Mar 16, 2019
@ifyalways thank you i was thinking spending 479k was alright for the trip since it include both ticket and hotel Bill's but now I understand better and because I have a very good closing balance of 1.8m that was why I decided to just spend 500k I will like to know is it possible to reapply and reduce the amount I want to spend now wouldnt that look suspicious like desperately want to get the visa your advice will be appreciated on how to go about this.Thanks in Advance
ifyalways:
221,200 ( totally income) - 47,850( total monthly expenditure)=
173,350 (total monthly disposable income)
Your total budget is £1000 = about or above 500,000 ngn

Your 10 days holiday will gulp about 3 months of your disposable income and it does not.make sense. Ideally, your two months disposable income should take care of a two weeks or less holiday.

Either you wait till you earn more or you adjust your total expenditure/ your holiday budget.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by dgoodrich101: 2:34pm On Mar 16, 2019
@justwise thank you for the attention given in attending to my case so what do you suggest I do sir can I reapply and If I click Yes under investment and saving what will i write their sir,I taught since I have a good Balance the 1000pounds was enough for the trip if I resubmit and reduce the price wouldnt it look like am acting desperate for the visa
justwise:
It simply means that you are spending too much on the trip considering the fact that it will take more than 3months of your salary to achieve that.

You should have declared your savings and investment and support it with documents.

Hello Gurus In the House Thank you for the great Job.

I applied for 10days visiting visa to UK for tourism with my daughter and was denied visa I really dont understand and will appreciate if gurus in the house can help out on the what next to do

"You state that you are employed by XYZ company as a senior marketing officer earning a monthly income of N221,220 (471.222 Oanda exchange rate £1 = 469.062NGN) and that you have no other income or saving I. support of this, you have submitted letter in regards to your employment,payslips and bank statementsYou also state you intend to spend £1000 and that you spent N47850 £102.02) on a monthly living. Giving this I note the amount you intend to spend on your visit to the UK is approximately 3 times your monthly disposable income. Therefore I am not satisfied that your current financial circumstances are proportional to the financial outlay for your proposed visit.

@justwise your advise on the right step to take will be really appreciated I have a closing saving account of N1.8M the bank account serve as both my salary and saving account. And their is no large sum i have traveller out to France with my daughter for Holiday before last year, also I think where I made mistake was when asked do I have any other investment or saving I chooced No but when I submitted I submitted my Real Estate C of O and also my Zenith bank shares.and I actually budgeted £1000 for the trip because I will be paying for both the hotel and ticket from the amount.please help can I apply again or just let them be.

justwise: The issue is whether the stamp is fake or not, its not whether you traveled to Ghana or not, they wouldn't have called it fake if there was no check to determine the authenticity of that stamp. When you appealed and the ECM withheld ECO's decision that means that they have reconsidered all the documents again to be very sure that the ECO made the right call.

The 10yrs ban started in that 2008 when you made that application, each time you apply for UK visa and get refused the ban restart afresh again.
thank you for your update so any one who have been refused under 320 a is authomatically on the 10 years ban is that right

justwise: Did you submit any fake/forged documents or misrepresent any material during your first application?
Yes they claim they saw a fake Ghanian immigration stamp and i wrote them through my Solicitor telling them that the i really travelled to Ghana and i didnt solicit for any assistance what so ever at the port of entry , and that was the result i got during the Administrative review but i didnt have any issue during my 1st 6 month visa and 2 years visa this happened when i applied for the renewal for 5 years visa
TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by dgoodrich101: 12:48pm On Jul 05, 2014
@justwise please i need your assistance ,

I applied for a 5 years uk visiting visa in September 2013 and was denied an entry visa under paragraph 320(a), i sent in an administrative review through a solicitor who helped in writing them that i was actually ignorant of the claim by them, i got a response from them recently stating that they are satisfied with the denial of the visa officer . and state the below.

Your client has a limited right of appeal as outlined in the refusal notice. Your client is of course free to submit a fresh application any time at any of our visa application centres. If he decides to reapply, an attempt should be made to address the concerns outlined in the refusal notice. I cannot however guarantee the outcome of any future application. Your client should be aware that as his application was refused under paragraph 320 (7A), any further applications may fall to be refused under paragraph 320(7B) of the Immigration Rules, (subject to the requirements set out in paragraph 320 (7C).

Was thinking of applying again soonest but i will like to seek your advice or does it mean when one is refused under paragraph 3201(a) he or she is authomatcially on the 10years Ban.

Will be glad if you can please advice me please can i get your phone # or email please @justwise
