MANDATIVE SUBJUNCTIVE CONCORD
rule: when recommendation, resolution, demand, wish, suggestion or prayer is involved in a sentence, the verb of the clause should be plural,whether the subject is singular or plural ,e.g

"it has been RECOMMENDED that he go (not goes) away."it is so because the statement borders on recommendation.
For analysis,this is a full version of the sentence above
"it has been recommended that he (should) go",
it is only that, that has been removed and you still remember the rule that says ,when a modal auxiliary, such as shall,should ,may -might,can-could e.t.c....is used the next verb should be plural. a verb without "s" should appear here.

it is not only when the words recommend, wish,pray,suggests,resolve et.c appear that this rule will hold ,but also it will hold even if there are no such words, but if the word used instead suggests the meaning of any of the above listed,
e.g we insist or require or move ......that he resign (not resigns)
this is so since all the four verbs mean "resolution"or "demand".

and if they wish,(which am hoping 4) they could extend the exam centres to the pearson centres in the major states in the federation i.e. Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Delta...

which means, they can network with other pearson centres...
