Billionaire philanthropist David Rockefeller has undergone successfully his sixth heart transplant in 42 years at the venerable age of 99 years old. The heart transplant surgery, which lasted 6 hours and was done by a team of private surgeons at his principal residence, on the family estate in Pocantico Hills, New York, doesn’t seem to have tired the legendary business man known for his dynamism and cunningness. His first heart transplant occurred in 1976 after a dramatic car accident led him to suffer a heart attack. He was operated 24 hours later and up and jogging a week later. David Rockefeller will be resting for the next weeks in his Hanuatu Island complex after he underwent successfully his sixth heart transplant in 42 years at the venerable age of 99 The 99-year old man allowed reporters to ask him a few questions only 36 hours after the operation, a testament to the sturdy health of the American icon. «Every time I get a new heart, it is like the breath of life is swept across my body. I feel reenergized and alive» he told reporters. Asked about the secret to his longevity, Mr Rockefeller explained a simple life is the way to go. «People often ask me this question and I always answer the same thing: Love life. Live a simple life, play with your kids, enjoy the things you have, spend time with good loyal friends» he acknowledged with a kind smile. «I’ve made a lot of money in my life, but I’ve given most of it away. There is no point of having if you can’t share» explained the renown philanthropist. The man that has also had two kidney transplants in 1988 and 2004 is still extremely positive about his health and hopes to live up to 200 years, he told reporters jokingly and in good spirit, only hours after his operation. Wow...every setion in Nigeria is now fully armed preparing for what is to come...boko haram, opc, militants...We all should just be prepared cause anything can happen anytime. |
Interesting... Now this are the major reasons people go to church today (opinion) 1. Connections : lots of Nigerians go to church to get that connection from that MD or CEO that attends their church either for a job or contract or even appointments in government parastatals. The recent case of people submitting CV's to pastor Tunde bakare comes to mind. 2. In search of husband ( for the ladies) : Alot of Nigerian single ladies fall into this category especially when age is no longer on ther side. They go to church hoping that that brother will finally make that move, some also go for prayers hoping to break every 'spiritual' force keeping them from locating thier spouses. 3. In search of the next lay ( young men ) : A friend once told me " guy come make we go this church,i hear fine babes plenty there ".many young men go to church just to look for a girl they can hook up with just for the sex and nothing more and its getting more common this days. 4. To show off their newly bought or sewn cloths : We all must have noticed how when people buy a new cloth they just cant wait to get to church to show it off, this ones would have probably ironed and gotten the cloth ready since the wednesday before sunday. 5 . To get prayers to make their business prosper : Many of our business men fall in this category.Once they notice a decline in profit they run to church praying ,fasting and giving tithes just for their futunes to change but refuse to change their wayward life style. 6. To get votes : well this one needs no introduction as we are all aware of how the last election got politicians jumping from one church to the other so the members of the church will vote them in and while visiting this churches they never forget to give some hefty offering or thanksgiving to get on the good books of the members. This is just a few i can mention for now,you are free to add yours and while at it remember that SAVING OF OUR SOUL should be the paramount reason for our going to church. |
We knew GEJ would start it...Buhari should just continue from where GEJ stopped. Please view and be happy for progress. No hating. |

Local guarantors in Nigeria have insured the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for a premium of N14.66bn ($73.7m) for the current financial year, according to reports. Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, is the principal underwriter for the risk of the corporation for the second year running after its initial contract was automatically renewed, Punch reports. According to investigations by Punch, this the biggest part of the NNPC risk, which will cover the four refineries, drilling, exploration and transportation as well as joint venture interests, but excludes group life insurance cover for the employees. The premium earned is also the single largest that the underwriters have received over the years. “We were able to negotiate some reduction on the existing premium. The risks and assets, which are what we are insuring, have not reduced. The fall in oil prices can only affect the profitability of oil companies but not the premium,” one of the underwriters said. The transaction has been confirmed by the insurance department of the NNPC which said that a group of local guarantors led by Mutual Benefits Assurance was handling the insurance cover for the corporation. http://pulse.ng/money/nnpc-local-guarantors-insure-company-for-n14-6bn-id3670592.html |

Entchidodo:Sometimes you dont really need to answer some humans.let them continue counting dangote's factories and location while wasting their time pinging without having enough reasoning to even do a common reserch. You just cant help but wonder how some people passed their project defence in Uni. |
I still remember a video which the Julius malema of south Africa was mocking president Jonathan because of boko haram. Now look at his country going up in flames.karma is a bitc.h. |
He's thinking "how will i be able to solve the issue of curruption without first throwing Tinubu and Amechi first into jail?" |
This is what lazy people do.Any set of humans who feel that as a host they dont have to work hard but wait for the slightest opportunity to loot and oppress their visitors are lazy and outrightly evil. |
With the mad traffic always in Apapa...unless something is done about that traffic alot of Lagosians will prefer to just go to the beach or cinemas. |
Obviously China. |
It was obvious the president was correct. They simply wanted to reduce buhari's power to effect the neccessary Change. |
