Hello

If what is left is dissertation the Uni will most likely not give a new CAS

Her options her

1. Get a skilled workers visa

In between these 2 steps: She can pray that her results are ready before her BRP expires, she can then apply for her graduate visa

2. Prepare to return home

Cheers

According to those who finished from the same uni early this year, this was the mail the school sent to them

Good morning gurus in the house, I have some questions to ask on someone’s behalf; She came in as September2022 intake so apparently she was meant to start her dissertation this July and finish September but at the moment, she has a resit as a result of plagiarism so her dissertation submission has been moved to December by the school, her BRP is due to expire by the end of January next year, even though she would have submitted her dissertation before then, but it is obvious her results won’t be ready by then so definitely she won’t be chanced to apply for PSW before the expiration of her current visa,
1) what is your advise for this individual
2) If maybe she gets a new CAS to cover up the period she is waiting for her result and gets a visa extension, if afterwards she gets cleared, won’t the resit affect her chances of getting a PSW even after she had cleared the resit.

Thanks in anticipation as I look forward to your replies
Politics / Akin Alabi And The Time by dharmeelawlarh(m): 2:52pm On Jan 29, 2023
AKIN ALABI & THE TIME

Honourable Mogaji Akin Alabi's march to the Green Chamber in 2019 raised many questions, and the Thomases far and near increased with the realities of him being a first timer. Less of excellence was prophesied about him with direct link to his naivety and newbieness.

Of course , at 40 plus he was a successful businessman. But the political pundits looked above this while juxtaposing politics with business. They drew lines with divergent complexities and were sure of their permutations and calculations.

However, years have passed and Hon. Akin Alabi keep proving the legendary Reggae maestro Bob Marley right; who through one of his numerous famous song title affirmed that "TIME WILL TELL".

Yes. Time is still telling with his performance over the years he has been at the green chamber. His legislative contributions give positive impacts to Nigeria and Nigerians. You remember, a bill to establish medical training centre in Egbeda/Ona-ara federal constituency? "YES", the bill was successful and the medical centre was established at Aba-onde area in Ona-Ara L.G.
Many motions raised by him was successfully passed and his sponsored bills never met deadlock.

First of it's kind was, his Monthly cash Empowerment for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Women to start up small scale businesses or improve the existing businesses. This very gesture remind us quickly the motto of Akin Alabi Foundation long before he was elected, '... touching lives, one person at a time.'

It's so impossible to forget his constituency outreach.
Supply of transformers to communities; supply of medical equipments to primary health sector; construction of medical centre in Egbeda L.G; construction of block of classrooms; construction of road in Ona-Ara L.G among others. Even if we forget all these quickly, "Time Will Tell".
Do you remember "Better Call Akin"? An initiative established to provide legal aide to Egbeda/Ona-Ara constituents who have been wrongly accused, bullied by influential individuals or punished unlawfully by law enforcement agencies. Many constituents have been freed from prison and detentions through this initiative free of charge. Time is telling now.

Hon Akin Alabi facilitated training for Egbeda/Ona-Ara youths and students on digital marketing with the provisions of laptops and other relevant materials to start up digital marketing businesses. Time is telling now.

Cash donations to lots of constituents, communities, students and empowerment programmes in different forms for traders, artisans and many professionals in Egbeda/Ona-ara federal constituency.

Hon Akin Alabi's love for the youths and youth development is immeasurable. This was what motivated him to singlehandedly construct an ultra-modern standard football pitch at Urban-Day Grammar School in Egbeda L.G with the aim of reawakening grassroots football and generate funds for the development of the school's facilities and structures. A win win you can call it. All in this TIME

I strongly believe without exaggeration that "Time will tell" and the time is now.

The time is now to appreciate Hon. Akin Alabi for all he has done for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constitutiency. Our knowledge and wisdom shouldn't be manipulate by some unrealistic politician.

Check facts and records, check antecedents, in all ramifications, Hon. Akin Alabi is not only the best but the pride of our constituency.

Conclusively, a vote for Hon. Akin Alabi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on February 25th 2023 will tell the time our constituency would reach its highest goal.

A good turn deserves another.
Let’s do it AGAIN✅

*Vote Hon Akin Alabi for Federal House of Representatives, Egbeda Ona-ara federal constituency.*

Politics / 2023:Re-elect Akin Alabi For Continuous Enjoyment Of The Dividends Of Democracy by dharmeelawlarh(m): 12:48pm On Jan 22, 2023
The elections are just around the corner and in the interest of the good people of Egbeda Ona-ara, it is sacrosanct that we re-elect the incumbent Federal House of representatives member HON AKIN ALABI.

Though frantic efforts are being made by some unpatriotic and self centered fellows to discredit the fact that Hon Akin Alabi has done well, it is important to the constituents to have him re-elected for a second term. This will guarantee the continuous growth and development of the constituency and a better representation by a competent and reliable representative.
No gain saying, contrary to the position of a handful of critics, Hon Akin Alabi has done well in His first term in the green chamber. He stands out from every Representative that has ever represented Egbeda/Ona-ara, both in Achievements, representation and dedication to service.

It will be meaningless to engage in frivolous rhetorics with detractors, as it will amount to waste of useful energy and time. Recently in an attempt to discredit the achievements of Hon Akin Alabi, one of the candidates reacted to an interview Hon Akin Alabi granted on radio.
The said Candidate represented by his media team, went on listing the achievements of someone they claim has done nothing.

In the same breath they claimed Hon Akin Alabi has done nothing, they stated Hon Akin Alabi built just 4 classrooms, they opined that the football field is not needed, they claimed that the empowerment was rushed, they confirmed he provided transformer but in the wrong time , they also affirmed he did a road project just that it wasn't up to 4 kilometres etc, all this in essence, automatically means they acknowledge Hon Akin Alabi did these things. Which first term Honourable has achieved this feat in Egbeda/Ona-ara?

Hon Akin Alabi spoke to the whole world over the radio and stated his achievements, tendered his stake and declared his willingness to continue with his good work, it is the duty of all well meaning people of Egbeda/Ona-ara, to disregard every propaganda peddled by critics and vote Honourable Akin Alabi for a second term.
Vote for competence, vote for credibility, vote for continuity, vote for experience, Vote APC, Vote Honourable Akin Alabi for Federal House of Representatives, Egbeda/Ona-ara Federal Constituency, come February 25, 2023.

GOD BLESS EGBEDA/ONA-ARA, GOD BLESS OYO STATE, GOD BLESS FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

Politics / Egbeda And Ona-ara Local Governments Are One. -akin Alabi Support Group by dharmeelawlarh(m): 9:40pm On Jan 11, 2023
Leadership is not about speculative ideologies. It has nothing to do with frivolous banters and unestablished vituperations.
Politicians whose failure has been foreseen and feel they are losing their 20-man popularity as the general elections draw closer have chosen smearing in campaigns as a tool.

Such politicians should save themselves from further disgrace as they can easily verify from beneficiaries of these programmes and projects instead of coming out to make a joke of themselves ( which shows how disconnected they are from reality and the people anyways).

Hon Akin Alabi since the commencement of his tenure can confidently boast of empowering thousands of constituents through different empowerment schemes which he either facilitated through federal government agencies or singlehandedly facilitated, within his first year in office till this moment. Some of these achievements such as the monthly empowerment, laptop empowerment for youths, SERVICOM empowerment, artisans empowerment and lots more are but few out of the numerous. (Pictures and clips from events available).

- The Urban Day Grammar School Football Pitch and “Better Call Akin” (a free legal aid service for constituents against police brutality, illegal detentions and other legal issues) are also some of the projects which were delivered within just 3 months in office.

Politicians who were never known in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency until they came out to contest should take a back seat and watch how Hon Akin Alabi is redefining representation.

Egbeda and Ona-ara are one and will remain one. If a candidate starts preaching sentiments and cajoling for attention by spreading marginalisation mantras (Ona ara lokan), such is trying to distrupt the peace and harmony that hitherto exists between Egbeda Ona-ara.
Leadership is based on competence, experience, ability and capability not sentiments and hogwash semantics.
Hon Akin Alabi has proven to be the most competent and reliable candidate for Egbeda Ona-ara.
He deserves the 2nd term.

Politics / Egbeda/OnaAra Constituents Reject Akinjide And His Budget Padding Idea by dharmeelawlarh(m): 9:48pm On Sep 21, 2022
After being forced to retire unceremoniously from military service because of his illegal deals and corrupt practices, Captain Kazeem Akinjide's fraudulent utterances and corrupt practices is a major stumbling block for the Egbeda/OnaAra House of Representatives Seat.

It is unimaginable how a seemingly exposed and ambitious electoral candidate can step up and believe he can make a fool of the current crop of conscious electorate. Gone are the days of stomach infrastructure and poli-tricking.

From the recent statement by the federal house of representatives aspirant Kazeem Akinjide, it is obvious that he is very unaware of the present polity and completely dissociated with economic, political and social demographics of the Egbeda ona-ara people.

Never a time has the people of Egbeda ona-ara clamoured for the institutionalism of corruption in our constituent. So I wonder, why does our DisHonourable captain believe this is our way of life? He would have been repentant, reformed and transformed after being unceremoniously relieved from service for corrupt practices but instead he has decided to rub the people of Egbeda ona-ara with his filth and with all effrontery dare to say it to our face. Even glorifying bribery, thereby accusing members of the honourable house of representatives culpable of bribery.

The level of  our success in life depends on the decisions and choices we make. As the saying goes "Weekend wey go sweet, na Friday dem take dey know am". As for the people of Egbeda ona-ara, we will not and will never associate ourselves with someone that is already promising corruption even before elections.

Those who believe in this futile cause either due to misguided ideologies or, ecentric objectives, are only but unpatriotic to the growth and development of Egbeda ona-ara thus, every other well meaning Egbeda ona-ara people should dissociate themselves from this myopic captain and his cohorts.

The decision of the well meaning citizens of Egbeda ona-ara is to retain our beloved honourable, who has over the years made sacrifices despite political, economic and constitutional restrictions to impact lives within the constituency in his own little way without having to PAD THE BUDGET.

The choice is yours. A promising future for Egbeda ona-ara, or a charge and bail approach legislature by an inexperienced aspirant with Egbeda ona-ara's wealth on his mind.

Finally, we the Youths and people of Egbeda ona-ara remain standing with Honourable Akin Alabi as our federal house of representative member. We believe in him and he hasn't failed. And he will continue to deliver as promised. Don't let us give room to candidates who wants to use the house of representative ticket as a way to clean their corrupt garment.

I have heard you need the yellow card especially for a long transit flight on Egypt air to be able to leave the airport to the hotel that will be provided. It is needed for Egypt and not the UK. if you stay in Lagos go to Port Health at Lagos airport or try here
To get the card, follow these steps:
1. Visit www.yellowcardnigeria.com
2. Click on register
3. Fill in your personal information
4. Click on “Pay Now” generate your Remitta
retrieval receipt code. With it you can pay the fee of N2000 via internet banking or by going to the bank
5. Take the payment receipt along with your international passport to the Port health services office nearest to you to get vaccinated and obtain your new yellow card.
Port health/yellow fever vaccination centres in Nigeria- https://www.health.gov.ng/doc/PORT%20HEALTH%20VACCINATION%20CENTRES%20&%20POINT%20OF%20ENTRY.pdf
Alternatively, like I said you can go to the Port health services office to make payment and get everything done. It is advisable to go prior to the dates of travel in order to avoid queues and to make payment online

Thank you for this, will I be needing a covid-19 test too pls?

wrong information. If you apply/submit your application before your POF has been held for 28 days u have breached the rules. The time waiting for biometrics date does not count as part of period of holding funds.
The person was making enquiries about visa processing period and not POF
