Just because one is called Old nd The other New doesn't mean u must neglect everything in d Old Testament.

Most pple dnt get d meaning of the Old & New Testament. The Old Testament is wen u redeem ursef from sin wit stipulated number of goats,bullocks etc nd only a Holy Priest can speak/hear/pray to God nd mak enquiries on behalf of others!

The New Testament is a packaged opportunity for u to get closer with God. U sin.. go on ur kneels nd pray soberly. It's forgiven.. no goats or sin offering in church. U can speak/hear from God through d Holy Spirit. And a host of oda things... The Death of Christ was d price paid to get all this benefits. All this benefits are New nd that's wer d New Testament is named!

God doesn't demand anything from u than to obey Him.. in tithing,preaching,holiness & righteousness,giving etc nd in return He will give u "EVERYTHING YOU WANT"!

there are so many ways we can give to God.

today the church has Holyspirt, who will always remember us to give, every bornagain knows when to give and what to give and who to give, because of the presence of the Holyspirt in them.

The Disciples didn't pay tithe because dey were not "working". There only job was to preach d gospel. Yet they stil sold their properties nd gav to d church. And atleast 10 of dem died for Christ. Wat ve u done for Christ dat will make pple wanna kill u??

The percentage given in the book of numbers is called tax.... So wld u pay tax to Nigerian government and still pay tax to the pastor? This is called double taxation.

Tithe is not a twist of the scripture! If u read d Book of Numbers, u'll know that 10% is a little thing compared to the offerings d Israelites give on "fixed" times.

Change ur notion towards tithing... It's only a foolish person who will not give back to God
