What shall it profit a team to qualify as second in UCL and meet a team like PSG, Bayern, Juventus or barca (though barca & bayern is our wife but not with this our present poruos defence)

You are very correct, he shot himself with that substitution. Him using his two subs at that 84 mins was naive, you bring one in first to reduce the pressure, then around 90 mins you bring the other one just to take the pressure off your team again with the player to be substituted wasting time coming out or feigning injury.
All he just needed to do was bring in an extra defender
