Santa Maria! Them don lost me for this thread |
This is muy fun. . .no fights please |
This is getting more and more fun. . . seun keeps setting up all kinds of roadblocks to keep me out (but he aint smart enough). That is the fun part of it. . . . |
guru01:Since you are so optimistic, start up something and we will support you. . . |
Seriously? I live at Ikotun Egbe actually, around Ile-Iwe bus-stop - but no time at the moment. . .maybe later |
Oya, all of una go back to your room and code! |
Double Gbam Actually. Nairaland is faceless! |
OmniPotens:He even spelt a framework as - frame works (like picshure frames)! madre de dios!! |
Dual Core:Santa Maria! That is part of what made me to be permanently banned. The next upgrade of the nairaland spam killer will be much much better. . . |
I completely agree with marvel, fayimora and Andrew |
@omo_to_dun, most of my best projects cannot be shown off easily online for some reasons. |
lest i forget, i made a script that allows you to authenticate a user on an external site using nairaland account details https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-743082.0.html I still dont know his reaction to that. . . . |
Nope it is no joke: The disruption of business started from: 1. Seun: He made censorship for nairaland because of google Me: I bypassed spambot censorship - Ban - Gbam 2. Me: I made the nairaland spam killer Easiest way still - to bypass the stupid spam bot Seun: He asked me to disable it, so i did (then) 3. Seun: He reduced the views of all posts on nairaland to half except his post Me: I wrote a script that can counter that nonsense One positive thing here is that: Seun has tried his best to send me off nairaland permanently for a long time, he studied for a long time - the method i used for spamming nairaland with fake IDs, and was able to block it. Not knowing that i have other methods in store (so in a way, he sees me as some kinda threat). Result: Permanent Ban |
Exacta, es asi |
localhost still works on most websites. Even if it is offline. It is the database username and password that changes. If your server is a windows-based program. |
passing by. . . |
I am begining to wonder what his age might be. . . |
Patched: [s]function naija_money_format($money) { $money2=number_format($money); if(strpos($money,'.')) {$p=explode(".",$money);$dec=$p[1];} else {$dec="00";} if(strlen($dec)==1) {$dec.="0";} $dec=substr($dec,0,2); return $money2.".$dec"; } [/s] If you supply a parameter from a calculation result such as 5000.23454345 It trims it to 5,000.24. However, it is advised you do your rounding and ceiling before you pass the param to this function. |
<?phpOn a site update i was working on just now, i was using number format, but it does not show the kobo area. And the php money_format does not work on my wamp server, i spent about a minute or two looking for solution, and came up with this. It is simple really and easy to use also. - Hasta la vista |
Very interesting. . . |
Santa Maria! But, who are the top guys here? I am just a pilgrim here (not the original). For now, i prefer to write codes that will keep the roof over my head. I have tried so many times to collaborate in the past, it just does not work out fine. |
Yes, it is very true - @omo_to_dun you should not generalize. Some of my past projects are quite fantastic - and even some recent ones - but for security purposes, i cannot announce them in public or even dare put them on my portfolio. And yes, i was waiting for the Mr Nairalive to come and speak for himself. We have some other webmasters here (that are still my Ogas anytime in coding - but they dont come out to make noise like most of us) |
omo_to_dun:Madre De Dios - Shhh - Dont mention i was banned
|
I knew it from the start. . .that it would kinda end like this (simplemente because we are Nigerians) |
. . .reserve comment eh? |
No problemo, you are most welcome. |
Very very interesting. This thread has in fact pointed out to the weakness of many developers here on nairaland. But @op, i do not actually believe your statement covers for everyone. Actually, i know some nairalanders (rather quiet ones that have actually done some of these stuffs - but they are not based in Naija - and they dont come here to beat their chests like many people here do). Anyway, i will not say much at this time, but some of my ongoing projects will prove you wrong very soon. But for now, i will rather keep quiet and keep coding. But i should quickly mention that - many developers that use cms (me inclusive) - just do so to save time. I can cover loads of grounds that way. Using frameworks and cmses have their pros and cons. However, if you wish to code from the scratch, you have to do it excellently. |
Na wa o, see as they guys them wan chop am. Post codes keh? If na me, i go just jar commoth for hia quick quick. @op, you need to write some php codes and then some sql queries to run inside your php codes. MySQL is (as them programmers will say) - a middleware application. . . |
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, I have already solved the guys problem earlier (_werepeLeri) Meanwhile, you appear to talk so much and you do not even know what a PARSE ERROR MEANS? OLODO! |
Dont worry, the wait will not be that long. Why cant you just keep using this one you are using? |
divinetalent:So in short, i am garrrrrulous and you haate me? Eyah, i am so sorry about that. . . . You can pick out some flaws in my portfolios as well. . . i really dont mind. And there is freedom of speech, you can express yourself anyway you like. |
