TOPIC: LIVE RIGHT! YOUR LIFE IS A BIBLE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: HEBREWS 12: 14; GENESIS 6: 1-10.

Welcome! Verses 7 and 8 of today’s 2nd scripture says: And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” Note these words again: “And the LORD said, I will destroy man… The question is: Was Noah not a man? Noah was a man. But he was a man with a difference! On! He was living in a generation of grossly indifferent people, but he was diiierent. Noah was iiving in the midst of gross iniquity and pollution but he chose to be separated unto God. And God rewarded his obedience and faithfulness by sparing him and his household.

He found GRACE a generation full of DISGRACE! And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that you can choose to be like Noah in this world of great wickedness, sin, abuse, sexual perversion and crazy fashion! Let your light and life so shine this year that men and women will say: “THIS IS THE NOAH OF THIS GENERATION,” The Holy Ghost is saying again: Your life may be the only Bible some people will ever read till they die! Be wise!
2 Corinthians 3.2 says: “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. Repent from every SECRET SIN and hypocritical life today and be a true ambassador of Jesus Christ in PURITY/HOLINESS. Do not allow your lifestyle and conduct to mock THE CROSS and bring shame to the LORD! A Japanese proverb says: “The reputation of a thousand years may be determined by the conduct of one hour.”

Oh! It can be determined by the conduct of one minute! Will Rogers penned: “Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip.” Then this bombshell from Thomas Macaulay: “The measure of a man’s real character is in what he would do if he knew he never would be found out.” What would you do if nobody is watching? In this year of Divine Elevation, be reminded that your spiritual elevation (PURITY) is a catalyst to your marital, financial, business, career and academic elevation! Pursue holiness daily because your life could be the only Bible some people will read till they die! Peace!

TOPIC: THE WAY UP IS DOWN!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 11: 1-11

It was WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE in his novel “As You Like it” that quipped and screamed: “My pride fell with my rortunes.” Indeed, as CHARLES CALEB COLTON noted: “Pride, like the magnet, constantly points to one object, self; but unlike the magnet, it has no attractive pole, but at all points repels.” A wise man noted also, “Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface of the average conscience a still, small voice says to us, ‘something is out of tune.” “There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. “‘Good pride’ represents our dignity and self-respect. Bad pride is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance” (John C. Maxwell).

We rise in glory as we sink in pride because in spiritual things, THE WAY UP IS DOWN! Proverbs 16: 18 is so loud: “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Then Proverbs 11:2 is so hot on this: “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. Pride is the father of shame! Humility is the rather of fame! Oh, still hear from Proverbs 15: 33: “The fear of thne LORD is the instruction of wisdom: and before honour is humility. HUMILITY always goes ahead of honour! If you see a HUMBLE man or woman, you can accurately predict his/her next “bus-stop” in life: GREAT HONOUR AVENUE! Ah! Never forget that the PROUD FORMER WBC CHAMPION BOXER, Mr. Wilder, who mocked his opponent by using the name of God as a joke, discovered that shame is the last ground for the proud!

Remember also that pride is the worst viper that is in the heart, the greatest disturber of the soul’s peace and that sweet communion with Christ: it was the first sin that ever was, and lies lowest in the foundation of satan’s whole building, is the most difficult to root out, is the most hidden, secret and deceitful of all lusts, and often creeps in insensibly, into the midst of religion and sometimes under the guise of humility. Indeed, proud people breed sad sorrow for themselves! Avoid pride and determine to honour God by your daily humility! Be the first to apologize! Seek for low jobs in the house of God! Avoid seeking to be known or heard! Your own is your own and your own will locate you when you are humble! Always remember: You are dust!

TOPIC: HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE IN TROUBLE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: HEBREWS 5: 1-9.

Vs 7 of today’s scripture says: “Who in the days of His flesh, having offered up both supplications and entreaties to Him who was able to save Him out of death, with strong crying and tears; (and having been heard because of His piety.” Did you get that Jesus Christ prayed WITH STRONG CRYING AND TEARS. That was how the LORD PRAYED! SO prayer IS WORK! Prayer is the SECRET of all you will ever become with God or with men! If the devil can get you to become lazy in prayers, then He will throw a PARTY in HELL to celebrate his TOTAL VICTORY over you in advance! Yes! Satan knows that prayer is the key of the day and the lock of the night!

He knows that prayer is the key to all the treasures of this life and the hereafter! No wonder your PERFECT MASTER and EXAMPLE of EXAMPLES – Jesus Christ of Nazareth, prayed “WITH STRONG CRYING AND TEARS.” He could have prayed with chewing gum in His mouth! He could have postponed His prayers because He was tired or busy! He could have prayed with caution because He was a corporate man! But He knew that in the WARFRONT OF LIFE. there is no respect for your perfume, money, university degree or your Queen’s English, etc! It is WAR and WAR is WAR! Remember that during the 2nd World War, one of the greatest wars took place in WARSAW, POLAND. Yes! WARSAW SAW WAR!

He Knew that demons tremble even when the youngest believer prays! He knew what Leonard Ravenhill was to write many years later: “No man (woman) is greater than his prayer life.” So, He prayed with HOLY AGGRESSION! That is how you should pray this year! Pray until someone says you are DRUNK! Remember Hannah and ELI? Drop your gentle, “ice-cream, bread and butter prayers and switch to your TERROR PRAYERS of AGGRESSION! BE A HOLY TERRORIST against HELL” on your knees! Hear E.M Bounds: “Prayers outlive the Iives of those who uttered them; Outlive a generation, outlive an age, outlive a World.

I remember this question by Corrie ten Boom: Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tyre?” A Wise man said: If you only pray when you’re in trouble, you’re in trouble. Catch this: Our prayers have no expiration date! You never know when, where, or how God will answer. Determine to UPGRADE to a new prayer fire even if it is not always easy for your flesh! Stop praying and fasting only when you are in trouble! It shows you are in trouble! A NEW PRAYER FIRE MUST COME! Pray now!

TOPIC: TROUBLES ARE DIVINE MESSENGERS!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: JUDGES 14:5-9; LUKE 1: 37.

Welcome to today’s devotional encounter! There is no fight, struggle, battle or trouble that is sweet. The average human being wants a lite free from trouble and struggle. We pray, and wish for a life of no battles. We long for the easy going life. Oh! No! Life itselt is TRAVAIL. You were born out of travail and born into travail. NOTHING JUST HAPPENS! God allows things to happen so that you can happen! TROUBLES ARE DIVINE MESSENGERS and they carry within them DIVINE MANDATES. Whenever you are going through troubles or battles, try to always see the GLORIOUS END and not the GLOOMY BEGINNING.
You are the one and only precious asset of God on planet earth and He will ensure that you are not liquidated. Judges 14:5 says, “Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.” As you go through life and indeed this year, you will come across lions that want to stop and resist your progress, advancement, favour and open doors. When you see the lion or lions, don’t retreat in fear; face it with courage and boldness because it is carrying your honey. But until you kill the LION, your HONEY Will not snow up: Verse 6 says: “And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done. Note: HE HAD NOTHING IN HIS HAND”- except the Spirit of the LORD! Oh!
It’s not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of God. What the Holy Ghost is saying to you through today’s devotional is that you can’t fight the Iions alone this year. They are in your office, neighbourhood, community even church. You need the Holy Ghost to guide, lead and direct your journey through life. See what happened after the death of the lions. Verse 8 says: “And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion: and behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcass of the lion. And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating…” Wow!
THE LION PRODUCED HIS HONEY! His pain produced his gain! His struggle produced his strides! His Scar produced his star and his shame produced his fame! No matter how this year has been, don’t quit or give up because THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH WILL PREVAIL UPON EVERY OTHER “LION” CONFRONTING YOU UNTIL THEY PRODUCE YOUR ELEVATION HONEY this year! Amen and amen!

TOPIC: MORE LESSONS FROM IRAN! NO FIGHTER LIKE GOD!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: ROMANS 12: 19; HEBREWS 10: 28-36.

The lesson from the Ukrainian International Airlines flight PS752 which was shot down early this year by Iran is crucial! When people contend with you, always remember the LAW OF RETRIBUTION; THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING (Gen 8: 22). It is also called, “KARMA.” KARMA’ (car-ma) is a word meaning the result of a person’s actions as well as the actions themselves. It is a term about the cycle of cause and effect (sowing and reaping – Gen 8: 22). According to the theory of Kama, what happens to a person, happens because they caused it with their actions. And KARMA is a bitch because it does not hear, “OH, I AM SORRY.” It must strike hard in favour of the oppressed! That is why in the “restaurant of KARMA” there is no MENU!

You are forced to eat what you have prepared yourself by your actions in your past whether good or bad! Here comes some spiritual lessons from this principle: Bitter people are always the architects of their own demise. If you let them do their thing without interfering, they will eventually shoot themselves in the foot and end the rift for you. Yes! Yes! Yes! They will always be the architects of their own calamity! You may not be around to see it, but trust me: it will happen. A sword fight can last for a lifetime, but a lone knight waving a sword at the air will eventually cut himself. Those who are immature enough to willingly go after someone eventually show their true people colors to the world. They harm their Own reputation and bring themselves down without you having to get your hands dirty. Did you get that? LEAVE REVENGE TO GOD! It will happen in a way that will make you shout: “WOW! WOW!

WOW! SEE WHAT GOD HAS DONE! CAN THIS BE TRUE AFTER ALL THEY DID TO ME?” Yes! The God who does not sleep nor slumber is still on the throne! If you walk by and see two people screaming at each other, you’re more likely to think that they both have valid perspectives rather than one of them being “right” and the other wrong.” However, if you walk by and see one person screaming while another silently refuses to engage, it will be immediately clear who is right and who is wrong. You will know who the immature one is, and you will immediately decide who to agree with.

Do not waste your time in fighting back or seeking revenge! In your office or business, show everyone how much of a model employee or personality you are. Smile and make as many friends as possible even if they hate you secretly! Build a strong reputation! Refuse to engage or revenge when you are PROVOKED! Remember: There is no FIGHTER Iike God! Wait and see! ”

TOPIC: LORD, LET MY HATERS WORK FOR ME!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: ESTHER 6: 1-13.

Be reminded that several people were detained in Iran over the accidental shooting of a Ukrainian passenger plane with a missile a few months ago. President Hassan Rouhani said the probe would be overseen by a “special court”. The Ukrainian International Airlines flight PS752 was brought down shortly after it took off from Tehran in early January 2020, killing all 176 people on board. Most of the victims were lranian and Canadian citizens. The Government statement read: The aircraft came close to a sensitive IRGC (IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD COUNCIL) military center at an altitude and flight condition that resembled hostile targeting.
Under these circumstances, the aircraft was unintentionally hit, which unfortunately resulted in the death of the many lranians and foreign nationals.” The victims included 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, 11 Ukrainians, 10 Swedes, four Afghans, three Germans and three British nationals. The Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif tweeted: “Human error at a time of crisis caused by US adventurism led to this disaster.” Wow! So, the Revolutionary Guards he aircraft for a Us cruise missile and fired at it. Note that Iran’s defences had been on high alert because the country had just fired ballistic missiles at two US bases in Iraq, in retaliation for the killing of top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani in a US drone strike in Baghdad. Wow! What a painful waste or innocent lives! But as we pray for the souls of the dead, note that IRAN helped the US TO KILL ITS OWN CITIZENS which were described as “the best of us”.! And that is exactly what your enemies will do this year!

They will help to destroy themselves! They will make mistakes that will bring shame to them! They will help you to be quickly ELEVATED as HAMAN did to Mordecai (today’s scripture)! They will weep and mourn while you sit on your throne of celebration! Just like IRAN, your haters will apologise to the whole world very soon because they will make IRREVERSIBLE and DISGRACEFUL mistakes! Wow! An old adage says: “Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.” Yes! In a bid to hurt America, Iran killed its own citizens and there was wailing in the whole nation! Refuse to be bitter or take revenge on people! The battle is the LORD’S! They that are planning your hurt will reap their own harvest – KARMA! Pray seriously now!

TOPIC: I CANNOT BE CONCLUDED: JEHOVAH GOD DID IT FOR US TOO!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: NUMBERS 22: 15-34.

Share with me today! “Dear Dr. Bishop Chris, permit me to start my testimony this way: On the 20th of January, 2020, precisely on Monday after our morning devotion in our family car, after sharing a testimony titled: “SHE KEPT HEARING, MEN SHALL NOT CALL YOU MARAH” (People will not call you Marah), we embarked on a Journey from Ogoja, a Nigerian city, to Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital city. On that morning’s devotional topic, there was a testimony of a woman whose only son was involved in an auto accident in Lagos involving a Lagos State Government Bus and Dangote’s Truck and that the only son of the woman was delivered by God.

We prayed and bound the spirit of accident on the way but the devil tried to be smarter than God. I, my wife and our four children had a serious accident in which my car somersaulted twice and landed in a ditch in between an old and ongoing construction, with the four tyres facing upwards along Akwanga-Kefi Express Way. To the glory of God, the Almighty God delivered us from that accident unhurt with minor bruises (injuries). However, I participated in the 21-day prayer and fasting programme and I was also in the World Elevation Anointing Night of 31st Jan, 2020 at TBS Lagos. In fact, our case cannot be concluded as we were brought from shame to fame, from sorry to congratulations, from horror to hurray and finaly, from the accident we are now miracle legends. The question is, “How did it happen? For in God, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit I trust. (From Besong J.B. +234 8065339-043; Abuja).”

Oh, glory to God! More of Him; less of me or any man! The God of this vision will do what He says He will do! TOPIC: HEAVEN’S WHIRLWIND; SWEEP THROUGH OUR LAND

BASIC SCRIPTURES: GENESIS 8: 1-3; PROVERBS 10:20-25.

My biggest prayer for you user of today’s devotional is that the mighty whirlwind of heaven will sweep through your city and country and SWEEP AWAY EVERY WICKEDNESS. Much more, I desire and pray that, that mighty irresistible wind will SWEEP OFF EVERY AGENT OF DARKNESS holding back your ELEVATION STORY. I say again: when the mighty wind of God blows, NOTHING CAN RESIST IT. No one can stop that wind from moving away what it was destined to move away. No one can stop that wind from bringing in what it was destined to bring in.
In Genesis 8:1, the Bible says that “God made a wind to pass over the earth, and THE WATERS ASSUAGED.” The phrase, “the waters asuaged means, “the waters were trapped, the waters were hidden” Did you get that? For many days, the mountains of the earth could not be seen because they were covered by the waters. But one day, Jehova thundered from heaven and declared, ‘Enough is enough’ Those words released His wind upon the earth and the waters were trapped (Water is representative of multitudes of people or serious battles).
Every water that has covered up your place of glory and has prevented you from seeing and seizing God’s best from youis coming under God’s judgement today. Heaven’s whirlwind is coming through your land and they shall be trapped. Your light will shine and your glory will be seen. You shall be celebrated again! LOOK out for the WIND that will HIDE the water of battles. It is near! (Go to church today)!

TOPIC: HEAVEN’S WHIRLWIND; SWEEP THROUGH MY LIFE

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 10:15-28.

Welcome! When the whirlwind of heaven passes through a place, THINGS WILL NEVER REMAIN THE SAME. My biggest prayer for you user of today’s devotional is that the mighty whirlwind of heaven will sweep through your life and SWEEP AWAY EVERY WICKEDNESS. See Proverbs 10:25: “When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.” Note: WHEN THE WHIRLWIND PASSES! YOU CAN COUNT ON ONE THING: THE WHIRLWIND WILL PASS! That scripture says, “WHEN…” not ” If..”
It makes no difference how strong and mighty those wicked powers look that have set themselves against you. It makes no difference how much success that Wicked syndicate has had against many people in the past. YOU WILL NOT BE ONE OF THEIR VICTIMS. The whirlwind of God will sweep past and they shall be no more! Psalm 103:16 says, “the wind passes over it, and it is gone, AND THE PLACE THEREOF SHALL KNOW IT NO MORE.” When the wind of God blows through your life, EVERY PLACE THAT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR WEAKNESS AND AND FAILURE SHALL BE TURNAROUND.
Every agent promoting weakness and failure in that area of your life will be swept away and THINGS WILL TURN AROUND. Begin to prepare! Begin to expect! I can hear in my spirit: It’s time! This is the season for winds! Prepare.” Receive that word today and let your heart be encouraged. Establish yourself in the Word of God and in righteousness. Become an everlasting foundation unmoveable and unshakable. When the storm clears, YOU WILL STILL BE STANDING! Declare 7 times now: “No storm can sink my star in Jesus name.” Pray now!

In this year 2020, Eschatology (the study of the “end times) is an emphasis from the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost wants to remind you regularly that you are in the end times, as the author of the Book of Hebrews states: “But as it is, He has appeared once and for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself” (Hebrews 9:266). No one knows when Christ is coming back, but Christ warns you to be ready in the “Parable of the Ten Virgins” in Matthew 25:1-13. That the former WBC Champion, Mr. Deontay Wilder was dethroned opponent Mr. FURY TYSON on Saturday 22nd of February 2020 at Las Vegas is no longer news! The news to me was what the former champion said before the match, and the consequence of the fight! Fury’s victory came after Wilder had on January 14, boasted that not even God could save Tyson from being defeated by him. According to “Complete Sports,after the first match, Mr. Wilder said, “I told you before our first fight that I was going to baptize you. And I did. But not even God can save you the second time around. I promise you that in the second match.” That was a rare boast against God!

Here is the reward: he was knocked out by Fury and lost the WBC title in a dramatic shameful defeat! Tyson Fury became the WBC heavyweight champion of the world after completely dominating Deontay Wilder! What a performance from Fury! After his victory, Fury Tyson, the new BASIC SCRIPTURE: Champion in full glare of the entire WORLD MEDIA and TV cameras, gave glory to the LORD Jesus Christ! It was pride that changed angels to devils and it was HUMILITY that changed sinners to saints! TOPIC: 80 YEARS OF IGNORANCE AND HARD LABOUR!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 15: 1 9.

An army barracks had four soldiers guarding a concrete slab in front of the barracks at all times. Different commanders came and went but the tradition remained; the soldiers changed shifts guarding the slab. After 80 years, a new commander was assigned to the barracks. Amongst the things he did was to ask why things were done the way they were. When he asked why soldiers were guarding the slab, he was told: We’ve always done it this way. It’s our tradition. Our former commanders instructed us to do that.” The commander was bent on finding out the reason for this practice. He went to the archives to look for answers and came across a document that had the explanation. The document was very old.

It had instructions written by one of the retired commanders who had even passed away. The new commander learnt that more than 80 years ago, the barracks wanted to build a platform where events could be performed. When the concrete slab was laid, wild animals walked over it at night before the slab would dry. The soldiers would fix it the next morning but when evening came the same thing would happen. So the commander ordered that four soldiers should guard the concrete slab for three weeks to allow it to dry.The following week, the commander was transfered to handle another assignment elsewhere, and a new commander was brought in. The new commander found the routine and continued to enforce it without asking any questions. And since then, every other commander that came did the same. But remember that it was supposed to be for just 3 WEEKS! Wow!

The Holy Ghost wants you to seek for knowledge! Don’t do a thing because OTHERS ARE DOING IT! Ask questions! Always ask: IS THIS IN THE BIBLE? DID THE HOLY SPIRIT ASK ME TO DO THIS? STOP FOLLOWING PEOPLE BLINDLY even in your local church! A popular Nigerian pastor apologized last year for teaching the “wrong doctrines” in the name of holiness to his members! He said he knows better now! But do you know that many big churches are teaching holiness, prosperity, marital, financial, etc, doctrines that are not in the Bible? Jesus asked: “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? Your motto should be and this ODM passion is: BACK TO THE BIBLE! Stop guarding a concrete slab! BASIC SCRIPTURE: 1 PETER 5: 1-9.

Deontay Wilder wore a black “satanic” costume, glorifying Beelzebub and boasted that the Living God didn’t have enough power to save Tyson Fury while Fury wore the Rosary around his neck and quietly prayed that The Lord Jesus Christ, the power ABOVE all powers, should take up the fight for him. In the end, satanic powers were disgraced and light proved to have supreme power over darkness. But that was not the main side news! The main side news was that this black American blamed the weight of his boxing show uniform for his defeat! But the Holy Ghost wants you to KEEP YOUR UNIFORM! He does not want you to BLAME ANYONE if your uniform is soiled or compromised! The Holy Ghost also wants you to know that there is a UNIFORM for this race.

TOPIC: FROM THE FLOOR TO THE KING’S TABLE!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: 2 SAMUEL 9:1-7; ISAIAH 49:22-23.

It is John Mason who wrote: “Most people fail because they cannot join the beginning and the end.” Be reminded and as stated in the last edition, that the life of Mephibosheth moved from the FLOOR and ended up in the king’s palace! It is almost impossible to join the two extremes together with your brain due to the SUDDEN RISE. But thank God that though he was on the floor, he didn’t die on the floor; he was alive to witness his elevation to the king’s table. And that shall be your life’s story this year. You will be alive to experience your own palace this year in Jesus name. Just like Joseph, Mephibosheth was in the pit because apart from being lame on his feet, he was in Lo Debar.
Lo Debar was a pastureless land, a dry, hopeless and abandoned place just like the pit of Joseph. And just as Mephibosheth came out of Lo Debar, the Holy Ghost wants you to know that no matter the pit you are in, you will come out in Jesus name. Vs 1 of today’s 1st scripture says: “And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake”? David remembered the house of Saul because of the goodness of Jonathan to him. May your good works speak for you and your children! That is why you should be careful about what you do so that your negatives will not hinder your children. So, the first lesson here is that you must learn to sow good seeds of kindness, love and care to others this year, it will trigger your elevation testimony. What will people, your generation and indeed heaven remember you for when you die at God’s appointed time?

It was the good works of Jonathan, Mephibosheth’s father that triggered his elevation party in spite of his disability. Ah! I Prophesy: Your disability in life and ministry and a million enemies cannot stop your Divine Elevation hour this year Mephibosheth was lame on his feet! Being lame means he was helpless just like Joseph, but he became a STAR. You can be lame in your job, career, business, marriage, finances etc, and you can’t help yourself, but the God who moved Mephibosheth from the floor of shame, rejection, demotion and disgrace etc shall bring you out too. There was a ROYAL KNOCK on the door of Mephibosheth right there at Lo Debar. That knock turned everything around in the life and destiny of Mephibosheth. Ah! I decree as I am commanded now: YOU SHALL HEAR A DIVINE ROYAL KNOCK!

A knock of remembrance! A knock of favour! A knock of promotion and a knock of elevation in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Oh! You shall dine with kings this year. Yes, yes, yes! Kings shall be your nursing fathers and Queens shall be your nursing mothers! Did you know that King David, his Queens and the entire royalty later nursed and served Mephibosheth? Thank you Jesus! That’s why you must never give up on God and yourself! Hear Jack Ma: “Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow may be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.” Yes! I see sunshine ahead! You shall move from the floor! Hold on always!

The great Napoleon Hill of France, one of the most successful war generals that ever lived, once declared to his conquering troops: “Impossible is a word found only in the dictionaries of fools. Reject it”! No wonder his exploits were nearly limitless! In this year 2020, it does not matter how many of your prayer points of the 21-day January fasting programme has been answered or not, don’t lose faith because Jehovah the Elevator will surely visit you and turn your expectations to elevations in Jesus name. Yes, don’t lower your expectations! There is a sound of the abundance of laughter coming into your house, your marriage, your ministry and career this year.

Luke 1:37 says: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” That means when God is at the centre of any battle, that battle cannot swallow you up, no matter how fierce it looks. Remember that most great inventions/breakthroughs in the world today, were considered impossible by men or were vehemently resisted at the time. Beware of those who stand aloof and greet each venture with reproof. The world would stop if things were run by men who say, It can’t be done. No wonder Oswald Sanders said: “Eyes that look are common. Those that see are rare. In fact, in 1899, a U.S engineer was said to have declared that, “Everything that can be invented has already been invented.” The Telephone was later invented the following year!

Then a government official wrote the following about the THEN telephone discovery: “The telephone has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. But today with the advent of Modern phone technology, that memo has been proved wrong. Oh! Good things take time! Good breakthroughs take time! Good, great and better elevation stories also take time because they are first of all baked in the womb of the spirit! That is why you must not quit trusting Jehovah God! Oh! Ask those who built the great Pyramid of Egypt and they will secretly inform you that it was by patience that the quarry became a pyramid. It was by patience that the great Coliseum of Rome was built! Hebrews 10:36 says: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”

And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that IT IS PATIENCE THAT TRIGGERS THE PROMISE! God always shows up for the patient in spirit and He will show up for you in this year 2020. Yes, something good is about to happen! Your ELEVATION HOUR is near!

TOPIC: DON’T KILL THAT FISH! FIRE YOUR PASSION!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 17:24-27

Verse 24 of today’s Word says, “And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, “Doth not your Master pay tribute? Wow! Jesus was confronted by tax collectors. They said to Him, “Master, WHERE IS YOUR TAX?” Oh! I decree that whatever will lead to you being embarrassed financially this year, let the anointing and the mercy of God Scatter it today in Jesus name. So, the LORD Jesus needed to pay them off, but there was NO MONEY in His hands. What? You mean Jesus was broke?
Yes! HE WAS BROKE SO THAT YOU WILL NOT BE BROKE! Secondly, He wanted to TEACH his disciples, the Tax Collectors, you and every child of God that He has DOMINION over all things and you too can. He wanted to REVEAL to us the principle of SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES in the time of lack. He wanted to PROVE to you that ALL THINGS ARE YOURS and that YOU can take delivery of them when you need to and nothing can stop you or EMBARRASS YOU! Vs 27 says: “go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up, and when thou hast opened its mouth. thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for Me and thee.” Jesus directed Peter to go and take money from the mouth of a fish. That FISH was the answer to that financial battle.

And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that, no matter what you’re going through financially and otherwise, God has positioned “A FISH” to take care of it. The word “Fish” here, means something legal that will take care of you and all yours! “FISH” means a HELPER! “FISH” means A PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE! “FISH” means an embarrassment stopper! On this earth you have your own fish! And I prophesy: The FISH holding your ALL-ROUND ELEVATION and TESTIMONY shall VOMIT it before 2020 is over in Jesus name. Any kind of EMBARRASSMENT MUST END BY FIRE! The MOUTH of that FISH represents anything you are doing, your business, job, career, etc. Oh! May your fish not die this year! If Peter had come back to tell Jesus all the fish in the river had died, would there be any MONEY? NO! The Holy Ghost through today’s devotional is saying to you, “DON’T KILL YOUR FISH.”

As a worker in the bank, government, ministry/parastatal, private sector, self enmployed, etc, don’t kill your fish. When you are lazy and carefree about what you do, you are killing your own fish. When you’re not crazy and passionate about what you are dong that fish may die. Whatever you are doing, if there is no zeal and passion, it will die. Resist discouragement! Be focused! Be aggressive! Be rugged and dogged! Be resilient in all you do! Put in extraordinary passion towards that goal or dream. Let the world know that you are not a quitter! I see the mouth of your fish opening wider this year! Amen and amen.

TOPIC: THE MARATHONER: THE FORCE OF DETERMINATION!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: 2 TIMOTHY 4:7-8; 2 CORINTHIANS 4: 7-10.

A man with muscular dystrophy, an inherited disease in which there is a progressive degeneration of muscles of the skeleton, completed a marathon race in 16 hours, 46 minutes (Approximately 17 hours). At the time he was born with this disease, doctors gave him only 7 days to live. Not only did he live beyond 7 days, he lived to become a man. Oh! Those who have limited you, Written you off, given up on you and are waiting to hear your end-story, shall be disappointed by your God in Jesus name. Instead of being restricted to a wheel chair, he lived to enrol for a marathon race.
He ran the race and got to the finish line. Many able-bodied men who enrolled for the marathon didn’t even show up at all due to fear; others ran the race but quit midway. But this man, in spite of his medical condition, proved many wrong by completing the race. Though he was the last to finish, anyhow and somehow, he completed the marathon to the astonishment of those who thought he could not even run at all. Now read what this woman from Ghana wrote, “I got pregnant at 15 while in secondary school, 8 months after having the baby, I went back to complete my secondary education. Today, I have a Masters degree from the United Kingdom and my son whom I had at 15, has just graduated from university with a Law degree.

The shame and isolation I had from my native Ghana at the time was beyond my ability. I lost some of my childhood friends because I had a baby at 15 but I told myself that I would never allow that to kill my determination in motion! Every MOUNTAIN becomes a PLAIN when you are determined. A notable sportsman tattooed his body and wrote, “Pain is temporary, victory is sure. Determination is the tonic that keeps achievers/champions going; it is a key element in enduring temporary setbacks and the achievement of ultimate success. No matter how life and indeed the year has been, be determined to make a difference! The late but great Maya Angelou wrote: “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” Oh!

Life may not be fair to you, but learn from this marathoner and this Ghanaian lady. Be determined, say to yourself: “I shall not quit! I shall start again and before my last breath, I shall be celebrated. I shall say like Apostle Paul in today’s 1st scripture Vs 7: “I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT” What have you fought this year and how are you fighting? Life is like a marathon race, you must push yourself to the finishing line by fighting self-pity, depression, fear of the future and anxiety daily.

The words of Og Mandino are worthy of note: “Failure will never overtake you if your determination to
succeed is strong enough.” Hold on and hold out!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MARK 12: 13-27.

The late Archbishop Benson Idahosa said the following: “I went to a city, and some press men had arranged for a woman to hide in my hotel room. I went to bed, started sleeping. Two hours later, somebody had mental problem in the wardrobe, screaming, Fire fire fire. I woke up and I asked myself, “Where is fire? I checked the bathroom because I didn’t think anybody could be in the wardrobe. When she was crying “Fire fire fire, I’m burning, I’m burning, I heard the sound, I opened the main entrance door and I saw nothing!
Then I finally decided to open the wardrobe, and there was the woman, all her shirt burnt with fire. She came out, all her shirt torn, injuries all over her skin. I asked her, “How come all these? She said Press men gave me money to hide in the wardrobe, that when you start sleeping, I should come out of the wardrobe and lie with you, so they can say you committed adultery. She was taken to the hospital seven days later and she died. Touch not my anointed Wow! What a world of mysteries! What a world of wickedness! What a world full of “PHD” life’s arrows! PHD” here means PULL HIM DOWN (PHD) or PULL HER DOWN (PHD) arrows! Why would another man plant a woman to tempt and pull down another man? Oh! I remember that the enemies of Daniel also set him up and waited to see him fall.

The enemies of the LORD Jesus even waited to CATCH HIM in His speech- His words. Mark 12: 13 says: “And they send unto Him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch Him in His words.” So the people were sent to WATCH HIM MAKE A MISTAKE! Luke 20: 20 puts it eagerly this way: “And they watched Him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of His words, that so they might deliver Him unto the power and authority of the governor. THEY SENT SPIES! Oh man! It was a case of whatever you say will be used in evidence against you in a court of law” Unfortunately, this is a wicked bus-stop any man or woman with a great star must pass through – people VERY CLOSE to you will LIE against you and look for your downfall!!

I have passed through it many times! Use today’s devotional to ask the Holy GHOST FIRE to consume any secret plan to disgrace you.

Welcome! A French proverb says: “To believe a thing impossible
is to make it so.” Your God Jehovah says: “I am the God of all flesh, nothing is too hard for Me.” Indeed, the positive thinker of faith in God, sees the invisible, feels the intangible and achieves the impossible! Share with me this testimony bullet below from a user of this devotional. I have withheld the names on request. Let the Holy Ghost use this testimony to move you from a season of dryness and drought to a season of DIVINE WATER FLOW! “Dear Sir, my mum introduced me to Our Daily Manna around September last year and I started following it conscientiously, after which I partook in the 21- day fasting program of this year and I listed all l wanted God to do for me, that totalled 22 in number or more.
By February this year, I made the sum of N200,000.00 (two hundred thousand naira after years of prolonged drought of money! On getting same, I read the part of Daily Manna that talked about paying First fruit. Much as I tried to avoid that section, it kept re-occurring in subsequent pages of the devotion, so I had no choice than to pay in the whole amount into Our Daily Manna’s account without touching a penny and no hope of other funds. Immediately I did that, the woman we went to bank together with dashed me NI5,000.00 on the spot for my faith and the whole month went that way, only for me to receive a whopping sum of N8,000,000.00 (8 million naira) in March from UNEXPECTED QUARTERS which I paid my tithe from and ever since, God has been more than faithful to me… Wow! The drought was broken.

In today’ scripture, Vs 1, the DRYNESS (drought) was prophesied, but 1 Kings 18:41 says: “And Elijah said unto Ahab, ‘Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound abundance of rain.” I also hear a word saying: “TELL MY PEOPLE, THE DROUGHT IS OVER!” If The Drought And Economic Adversity Cannot Stop You From Giving, It Will Never Stop You From Receiving! When the Spirit of God is inspiring you to take a step of faith, DON’T LET ANYTHING STOP YOU! Your step of faith will usher you into a new season of unending abundance! TOPIC: LORD, REMEMBER ME

BASIC SCRIPTURE:
2 KINGS 7: 3-16.

Some years ago, a professor in a Ghanaian University said: “You could graduate as the best student in Finance but it doesn’t mean you will make more money than everybody else. The best graduating Law student does not necessarily become the best lawyer. The fact is, life requires more than the ability to understand a concept, memorise it and reproduce it in an exam. School rewards people for their memories. Life rewards people for their imagination and innovations. School rewards caution; life rewards daring. School hails those who live by the rules. Life exalts those who break the rules and set new ones.”

So only the smart ones make it in life and ministry! Even if you were the best student in a Bible school, it does not guarantee your GOOD SUCCESS IN MINISTRY or divine FLOW OF DIVINE POWER! Life is not all about academic grades. The great Late Nigerian lawyer, Ganı Fawehinmi, is a big example. His books are being used by FIRST CLASS GRADUATES, even though he made a 3rd class! He was one of the prestigious inner club members of the SENIOR ADVOCATES OF NIGERIA (SAN)! In life, what you do with your experience is what counts at last! You might actually have a first class in school and still work under someone who had a third class. It is possible! Life does not commend you that you were exceptional within the box or within a guided syllabus, etc. Life rewards those who have exceptional thinking “out of the box.”

Yes! Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all! Hear from the Journals of Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Don’t be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” I remember Craig D. Lounsbrough: “It is no secret that the greatest treasures are found in the most remote, accessible and difficult places where we must pursue them with great energy and even greater risk. It’s the same with our lives. Even in a risky race, it is better to cross the line and bear the consequences, than to stare at that line for the rest of your life!

Like the 4 lepers in today s scripture, take risks in your life as 2020 runs by! If you win, you can lead others, but if you lose, you can guide others! NOTHING IS A WASTE! Make a move!

Welcome!!! Do know that millions of people all over the world are passing by their blessings and miracles everyday? The greatest cry of my heart is that you user of today’s devotional will not be one of these millions. Hear what God said to the people of Israel in today’s scripture Vs. 20; “Behold, I send an angel before thee to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

There is a place that God has prepared for you. It’s a place of health, peace and joy. It’s a place of WAR but a place of VICTORY! It’s a place of unending increase. It’s a place of exceptional favour and grace.

It’s a place of continual success. That place that God has prepared for you is a place of perfect safety and security. Words cannot be enough to describe how beautiful and glorious that place is. Maybe you’re thinking that, that place that l’m referring to is heaven; NO! NO! NO! It is here on EARTH! God’s best is not reserved for you to enjoy only when you get to heaven. Proverbs 11:31 says, “The righteous shall be recompensed on the earth.” Isaiah 1:19 says, “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.” Which land? TOPIC: THE PHOENIX, JUST AFTER THAT MISTAKE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: ACTS 2:14- 36.

Welcome to another devotional encounter with the STORM STOPPER! Hear Amold Palmer: “During my 18 years, I came struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at bats a season. That means I played seven years wihout ever hitting the ball.”

Did you get that? He was playing without results! Hear Mickey Mantle: “Always make a total effort, even when the odds are against you. Even when nothing is working or things seem slow, refuse to quit! lt is mistakes that provoke miracles! It is errors that birth elevation! Yes!

It is failures that give birth to fortunes! Hear Richard Yates: “If you don’t try at anything, you can’t fail… it takes backbone to lead the life you want.” Indeed, it seems that failure tends to be more public than success. You try to avoid it, and you question yourself every time you have uncommon ideas because you fear to fail. But the simple truth is no great success was ever achieved without failure.
It may be one epic failure. Or a series of failures such as Edison’s 10,000 attempts to create a light bulb or Dyson’s 5,126 attempts to invent a bag-less vacuum cleaner. But, whether we like it or not, failure is a necessary stepping stone to achieving our dreams. In life, failure should be your teacher and not your cemetery! STOP CONDEMNING YOURSELF! Failure is delay, not defeat!

It is a temporary detour (bend), not a dead end. Failure is something you can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing. AND THAT MEANS YOU ARE AS GOOD AS DEAD! It was the moral failure of DAVID that gave birth to Psalm 51. FAILURE IS NOT FINAL except you allow it to be so!

Peter denied Christ three times! But did Peter’s failure exclude him from success? No! He restored Peter in a dramatic moment on the Sea of Galilee (John 21:15-17) and Peter became the leader of the disciples, preaching the first evangelical historic message after which more than 3,000 people got saved (Acts 2:14-36) Wow!
Sometimes your best days are just after a major failure/mistake! This is because failure and mistakes are LADDERS OF MERCY! Move on, trust God and watch God elevate you beyond measure! (Get ready for the Anointing service in 48 hours time! This is your hour)!

TOPIC : “THE PHOENIX! JUST AFTER THAT MISTAKE”

BASIC SCRIPTURE: COLOSSIANS 4: 1- 12.

Welcome to another devotional encounter with He who will wrap up the heavens and the earth as vestures (Hebrews 1: 12)! It was Janet Fitch who wrote: The phoenix must burn to emerge. In Ancient Greek stories, a PHOENIX is a long-lived bird that regenerates or is otherwise “born again.”

It is a bird associated with the sun! A PHOENIX obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. Ancient legend paints a picture of a magical bird, radiant and shining, which lives for several hundred years before it dies by bursting into flames. It is then reborn from the ashes, to start a new, long life.

So powerful is the symbolism that it is an image that is still used commonly today in popular culture and folklore stories. The legendary PHOENLX is a large, grand bird, much like an eagle or peacock. It is brilliantly coloured in red, purple, and yellow, as it is associated with the rising sun and fire.

So, Janet Fitch was only reminding us that the PHOENIX had to BURN to be re-born! So, the process of passing through the FIRE is what transforms the bird from one level of glory to another Your passing through your fire of ERRORS or heat of MISTAKES FAILURE is what creates another YOU; a bigger, wiser and better YOU! JUST REFUSE TO CONDEMN YOURSELF or allow DEPRESSION! Hear Lance Amstrong: “Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever. So true! The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing! C.S. Lewis opined: “Failures are finger posts on the road to achievement.” Failures and mistakes are detours! NOT DEAD ENDS! Ask Apostle John Mark.

John Mark abandoned Paul and became backshadden from the rigours and pain of missionary work! But years later, when Paul was sitting in prison awaiting trial, he wrote a Ietter to the church at Colossae, informing them that John Mark was with him and had been a great comfort, but he also told them that they were to welcome John Mark if he showed up.

This kid that had sorely disappointed Paul had now become a man who brought him comfort. That is rising from failure (Col. 4:10-11)! Indeed, in life, failure should be your teacher and not your cemetery! Learn, laugh at your mistakes, and move on! Your best days are ahead!

TOPIC: LORD, USE AN ENEMY TO PROTECT ME!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: EXODUS 2: 1-10.

For many years, the door of life was shut against the unbom male child of the Hebrew women in Egypt. As soon as a new baby was born and it was discovered that, that child was a male, he was killed immediately. The mother could not stop it. The father could not stop it either. THEY WERE HELPLESS. But one day, a special child was born and God set before that child an open door, a door that no man could shut. That child’s name was Moses. The Very Mouth That Gave The Decree To Kill Him Was Rendered Null And Void When The Daughter Of Pharaoh Saw That Little Child.

Favour from above worked for him. That means God used an ENEMY PHARAOH to protect and nourish Moses! Wow! An enemy wili be used to defend you very soon! When Jesus was born, news got to Herod that a baby had been born that was destined to become the King of the Jews. Immediately, HEROD LOST HIS SLEEP. He thought he could shut the door of life against the Lord of Glory. He gave the decree, every child below the age of two must be kılled’. That evil decree was not strong enough to cut short the plan of God. I am led to decree concerning you today: Every evil decree that has gone forth, destined to cut short your glory and your shining, is reversed now in Jesus name. The same JEHOVAH THE DOOR OPENER who arose for Moses the deliverer, and Jesus the Saviour, will arise for you and fight for you.

Your elevation glory and your ELEVATION SUN will arise, and shine again! Your door wilł stay open until your life, family and ministry has walked through and stepped into your new season of honour and unending praise, in Jesus name! No matter what you are allowed to pass through, hear this: IT SHALL END UP IN PRAISE! Pray seriously now. TOPIC: TILES IN THE DUST!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PSALM 8: 1-9

Welcome to the world of the late Idi Amin Dada of UGANDA.
Idi Amin Dada was the third President of Uganda, ruling from 1971 to 1979. He ruled Uganda with an iron fist! His fear was the beginning of wisdom across the region! He added to his name, titles: Your Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal, Al Hadji Doctor, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular. He also claimed to be the uncrowned King of Scotland which led to the 2006 Cinema screen drama called, “The Last King of Scotland” which was about the rule of the man in question!

ldi Amin was finally ousted by exiled Ugandans in 1979 after he invaded Tanzania, and was attacked by the Uganda National Liberation Front. It was widely believed that Amin was a cannibal but he is reported to have said that human flesh was too salty for his tastes. He made statements Such as: You cannot run faster than a bullet”, “I myself consider myself the most powerful figure in the world. He was once described as “A Clown Drenched in Brutality” by the UK Sunday Times. But as feared and loud as he was, he later became a fugitive on the run. Sadly, he died in exile in Saudi Arabia in 2003. Oh, what is man? Why all the boasting? Always remember that clouds that thunder do not always rain. The fly on the water buffalo’s back thinks he is taller than the water buffalo.

Psalm 8 Vs. 4 asks: WHAT IS MAN that Thou art mindful of him? He was saying that with the ALMIGHTINESS of JEHOVAH, why would He even think of man? Yes indeed, MAN is COMMON DUST and He is like BEAUTIFUL TILES IN THE DUST! They will be washed away! Visit your nearest CEMETERY and you will live A HUMBLE LIFE till your last breath! A Nepalese proverb says Vanity blossoms but bares no fruit. It blossoms and ends
up in shame! Never underestimate a man who overestimates himself (Franklin D. Roosevelt). Repent from BOASTING about yourself always! Always be the last to speak and let your words be few! As 2020 progresses, always remember Idi Amin and cure yourself from the affliction of worrying how you appear to others.

Concern yourself onły with how you appear before God; concern yourself only with God’s opinion of you. Hens do cackle loudest when there is nothing vital in the eggs they have laid! Learn and close with this: THE WAY UP IS DOWN! You don’t know how strong you are until you forgive someone who is not sorry for what he/she did or until you accept no apology that was never given! That is real strength! Yes! Be the first to apologise – no matter who is right or wrong! There is no quarrel in the grave! Serve others and your star will never grow dim!
