Farrah Gray who is known as one of the most influential African American men in the U.S. according to the National Urban League has been caught in a huge media stunt.
The best selling author totally mislead readers into clicking on an article titled, “Mother and Daughter Impregnated by the Same Man Give Birth Minutes Apart!!”

This is absolutely not true, at least regarding the fact that there are two separate fathers in the picture. As a seasoned writer, we are especially surprised that Farrah Gray would take any news from AskKissy, a gossip only blog site which is totally a click bate website.
AskKissy.com has since changed her headline but it was too late. Farrah Gray had already used it to his advantage.

In case you are wondering, here is the real story.

A mother and daughter who live in Florida gave birth 34 minutes apart in the same hospital. It is quite a unique story but these women were NOT impregnated by the same man.

37-year-old Angela Patram is the mother to 20-year-old Teranisha Billups. Both women gave birth on February 19th at Tampa General Hospital.

Patram is the mother of 4 children while this will be her first grandchild. She is very happy to have two new additions to the family.

Patram is an oncology nurse while her daughter, Teranisha, is a college student studying biology and Florida A&M. Teranisha has plans to become a doctor some day.

The birth certainly represents a rarity, hospital officials added.

“I’ve been in this field for 29 years…I’ve seen maybe 14,000 deliveries,” said the Tampa doctor, “I’ve never seen a mom and daughter deliver on the same day. And this is as close as you could get.”

BAUCHI, Nigeria (Reuters) - A suicide bomber killed six people at a church on Sunday in Potiskum, a town in northeast Nigeria hit by suspected Boko Haram attacks in the past, a Red Cross official and a witness said.

"People were just going to the church when the bomber entered, otherwise the casualty figure would have been higher," said Red Cross official Hassan Alhaji Muhammad, who visited the scene of the blast on the outskirts of Potiskum.

A hospital in Potiskum said it had received the bodies.

Suspected Islamist militant gunmen and bombers killed more than 200 people last week in a spate of bloodletting that prompted renewed outrage and calls for an international meeting to coordinate the offensive against Boko Haram.

French President Francois Hollande said the Boko Haram threat was getting stronger and that he was ready to hold a summit, following one in Paris in May 2014, to gather the leaders of countries fighting the insurgents.

New Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is due to visit his counterpart in Cameroon after the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and meets U.S. President Barack Obama on July 20, when the fight against Boko Haram is likely to be high on the agenda.

Potiskum is in Yobe state next to Borno, a remote state which is Boko Haram's stronghold in Nigeria and borders Cameroon, Chad and Niger.

The author of a new book, Fourth Republic National Assembly, Dr Austin Uganwa, has traced the introduction of the use of money to curry the favour of the lawmakers in the federal parliament to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
According to the author in the book slated for public presentation on Monday at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, the first time money exchanged hands in the Fourth Republic National Assembly was at the inception of the republic in 1999 when Obasanjo moved to stop the Senate Presidency bid of Senator Chuba Okadigbo who was adopted by the leadership of the ruling party at that time, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge as the Senate President.
Obasanjo’s preference was Senator Evan Enwerem who decamped from the All Peoples Party (APP) to the PDP after winning his election to represent Owerri Senatorial District of Imo State. Obasanjo’s penchant for him was on account of his belief that Enwerem would be much easier to control and rail-road than the single-minded Okadigbo.
The book revealed that even before the inauguration of the Senate on June 3, 1999, large amount of money was moved in to rally the Alliance for Democracy (AD), APP Senators and to divide PDP Senators towards actualising Obasanjo’s inclination for Enwerem.
The book added that it was at this point that the seed of mercantile politics was sown in the National Assembly.
The book captured it that, “Obasanjo’s desperation to move against the popular wish of the ruling party at that time unfortunately opened a Pandora box of monumental financial enticement and mercantile politics in the federal legislature.”
The book stressed that this was further consolidated during Obasanjo’s unpopular third term bid in 2006 which was eventually killed by the lawmakers
The book provides detailed and robust images, account and analyses of the eight-year Fourth Republic National Assembly embellished with scholarly media perspectives.
