CelebritiesRe: Jason Okpocha: Basketmouth's Son Joins Liverpool Football Academy (Photos) by Dieselman: 2:19am On Aug 02, 2023
Zonefree:
If na Chelsea academy, E sure me me say he'll be upgraded to the main team in the space of 6 years.

Liverpool academy does not give young players opportunity to shine. They don't even produce star players.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Ngozi United academies remain the best in nurturing young players.
Harvey Elliot, Curtis Jones, Koiamin Kelleher, Stefan Bajcetic, Trent Alexander Arnold are all first team players who see regular munites of football under Klopp.

All those aforementioned players are all academy graduates. Can you mention the number of Chelsea first team players last season from their academy that saw regular munites of football?

Are you sure you even watch football? That's because it is a common knowledge amongst football fans that Liverpool has some of the best academy products in the world. Apart from Barcelona no other top European club can boast of such a number of academy graduates in their first team.

EducationRe: Parents, Students Cry Out As Universities Hike Fees by Dieselman: 6:01pm On Jun 30, 2023
JasonScoolari:
Don't be a silly fellow. Uniben is a federal university in Edo State, their fees has skyrocketed because of the useless man you support.

Be extra reasonable.
Even University of Abuja that's at the seat of power have tripled their tuition fee and many students are dropping out of school, with others differing their admission to go and hustle for their tuition fees.

It's really a tough time for poor masses in Nigeria currently.

This is what happens when a man who believes that improved igr is an indication of economic growth is given mantle of leadership. He does not know that growth is measured by the gdp of an economy and not igr. I don't know where he read his own Economics.

Zaccheus the tax collector!
PoliticsRe: I Was One Of Those Who Opposed Endsars Protests – Asari Dokubo by Dieselman: 6:08pm On Jun 17, 2023
ican2020:
What is Asari Dokubo looking for?
pipeline surveillance contract. grin.

That fat pig is doing anything possible to get Tinubu to give him the contract. It seems his account balance is tending to zero. That's why he's trying to augment it.

Typically, when you want to prove your loyalty to any Nigerian, the easiest way is to attack Ndigbo. Igbo resentment is one thing that the whole Nigeria achieves consensus in. So, the fat pig knows what he's doing.

PoliticsRe: Dangote's Fuel Monopoly Risks Soaring Petrol Prices - Joe Ajaero by Dieselman: 6:04am On Jun 05, 2023
HacheNoire:
Oh! So that’s your definition of monopoly?

Marketing strategies have become monopoly.

It means Toyota is monopolizing the world auto industry.
oga any firm controlling more than 50% of the products in an industry is said to be a monopoly.

There are no absolute monopolies in the world but percentage of market shares is used to measure is used to measure the degree of monopoly in any industry in an economy.

When few firms are the only players in an industry, they tend to form a cartel where they decide the price and quantity of their products to be made available.

There’s actually monopoly in our cement industry. Dangote controls More than 60% of the market share.

PoliticsRe: 10th NASS: South-West Senators Consider Other Options, May Drop Akpabio by Dieselman: 8:19pm On Jun 01, 2023
CSTRR:
Unless the alternative is Orji uzor kalu.

Because if not, it would set a cascade of political consequences for the apc as far as southern Nigeria is concerned.

Personally, I would go with akpabio.
He is very corrupt too, but what are the alternatives?
Osita Izunaso is the alternative. He's the dark horse in this race.

Apabio is the next SP.

We would have preferred Orji Uzor Kali or Oshiomole but Oshio is new to The Senate.

I hope they're not eying Yayi ooooo🙄
I see Osita Izunaso emerging as the preferred choice at the end of the day.

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by Dieselman: 8:57am On May 21, 2023
rtdCivilservant:
I used to think u were a sensible and objective person (especially whenever u and Chino rant here) until lately. Uzodinma may not be the best but he is obviously not the worst, at least he is far better than Rochas. In fact the man is really trying in some aspects... we should learn to commend our leaders when they work and criticise them when they are derailing. U and many don't want to see anything good in Uzodinma because he is APC, we must not always be bittered... Verily, verily I tell u, the negative and bad image that u give to ur state in public, is exactly the way others will see it, this is very common among Imo people, they think portraying their state in a bad light makes them a more civilised people.
Ask Abia people today, Abia is not the worst state in Nigeria, but because of the bad ways Abians painted their state and leaders in public fora like this, today, Abia is always used as an example of a failed state. Another one is this, Anambra government is not doing anything extraordinary, but because Anambarians always speak good of their leaders and state, it is always looking like the state is always doing well. Let us eschew bitterness from us.
are you normal? How's Uzodinma better than Rochas? Someone that failed in his primary assignment - protection of life and property.

Were you around last Christmas? Did you see how everywhere looked dry and empty? That's the result of the insecurity ushered in by uzodinma. Do you know how many youths that have been murdered by Ebube Agu and Nigerian armed forces within the last three years?

Even my Orlu that used to be a beehive of economic activities pre 2020 has been turned to a ghost town.

Do you know that some communities in orsu and oru east LGA have been totally deserted by the indigens due to insecurity?

Accepted, Okorocha littered the state with substandard projects. But during his reign Imo was the most peaceful state in the Federation.
He performed creditably well in education and even the Owerri we're talking about today received its present look during Okorocha's reign through his urban renewal. Orlu and Owerri were booming with economic activities those days compared to to the ghost towns we have now.

Uzodinma is the second worst thing to have happened to Ndigbo after the Nigeria/ Biafra war. As such removing him from office is task every Imolite must participate in, to accomplish.

That he reasphalted two or three roads shouldn't be an atonement for his atrocities.

Sen. Sam Anyanwu, the PDP national secretary has cornered all the delegates. That's why Ihedioha Withdrew to avoid wasting him money.

Nope! His not. Dr Livy is the lead counsel. He was the lead counsel for Atiku in 2019 and he will lead Obi's team too.
Dr. Livy Uzoukwu SAN
DR. AWA KALU SAN then
Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN
are the three counsels in that other, along with other 9 SANs.

They position will likely go to Osita Izunaso. He is a founding member of APC and the Uzodinma factor will help him. Uzodinma knows how to lobby for positions from powers that be.
PoliticsRe: Which Of These People Are The Problem Of Democracy? by Dieselman: 11:01pm On Feb 27, 2023
nkemjacob2:
1. Illiterate electorate
2. Politicians
Non of the above. The real problem we've inthis country are the so called member of th Academic Staff Union of universities (ASUU).

If you attend a lecture in our universities by these lecturers they'll spend more than half of their tiime criticizing the politicians. But during election they will collect fat envelopes and subvert the will of the people and return the so called evil politicians to power. Later, they'll go on strike and start acussing the government of insensetivity. The same government they installed.

ASUU and Nigerian politicians are two sides of the same coin.
Where has Okorocha been lately OP?[feels AP/quote]He feels APC has not been fair to him and he refused to campaign for Tinubu.

He's working for Peter Obi as most of his disciples in Imo state have defected to labor party.

I've always admired his oratorial skills.
PoliticsRe: JUST IN: Obasanjo Endorses Peter Obi For Presidency by Dieselman: 2:24am On Jan 02, 2023
Most of you Obi supporters like to gaslight . I simply gave two reasons why Obj might not want to support Tinubu ,instead of you to respond like someone that’s educated and can counter my position with an objective reason ,you resort to insults which is the flagship trademark of Obi supporters .

If you’re talking about someone that can fix Nigeria ,is the answer Obi ?or can his antecedents be compared to that of Tinubu’s in terms of fixing something?

There’s a video online yesterday where one Of his followers asked him questions about fixing Nigeria pipeline to prevent oil theft and increase productivity. His response that he will give him his number and discuss the matter with him behind camera . His actions is like a dullard teacher that gave students complicated homework because he couldn’t solve it . Truly birds of a feather flocks together .
LOL the pain of this endorsement is excruciating to some people.

Una sorry ok!
