iterator24:I am proud that 19% of all souls that died from AIDS died in Nigeria. Just AIDS. |
iterator24:So does the whole world. But the tourists and your refugees go to see SA's tall buildings. They are OFFICIALLY discouraged from going to nigeria because of safety concerns. |
iterator24:Your own source said 200 k deaths to violence, aids and and and et cetera. Therefore it's a total. So, said your own source. Now, nigeria has no idea how many souls it lost ever. Not to violence. Not to anything. It just doesn't know. But what we do know is that 19% of all AiDS deaths happened in Nigeria, which Nigeria is leading the charges. |
iterator24:But you deemed yourself "wonderful", yet the awards are bestowed on SA, which is recognised the most DESIRABLE place to go to in all of Africa. The "wonderful" nigeria is not recognized as such a place. It actually shouldn't be visited as per advice. It's undesirable as a place to go to. You deemed yourself "wonderful" yet your own countrymen Rush to SA as refugees. You're right. There's no competition. You couldn't possibly compete. Not in your wildest of dreams. |
iterator24:That would be an English fail for you. All the things I listed are nigeria's crowning glory. I.e. 1. Highest numbers of aids DEATHS. 2. Highest rate of MTC HIV transmission. 3. Highest number of AIDS babies. 4. Statutory rape capital of the world. 5. Highest number of persons internally displaced by conflict. 6. Half the terrory should not be visited by tourist as per official advice. 1 to 6 all proven with sources and undeniable. Highest murder rate in the world in Honduras. Also with sources. Country with no idea of its own murder rate and an inability to "statistic" is Nigeria. Also with sources. |
iterator24:Again, The highest number of deaths from AIDS would be in nigeria. The highest number of AIDS babies would be in nigeria. The highest Mother to Child HIV transmission rate would be in Nigeria. The country where statutory rape is practised legally via the marriage of minors would be Nigeria. The country that has no idea what its performance is on ANYTHING because it can't keep reliable stats would be nigeria. The country half the territory of which is OFFICIALLY deemed not desirable for tourists would be Nigeria. The country with the highest number of persons internally displaced by conflict would be Nigeria. The country that is loved by tourists and nigerian REFUGEES would be SA. |
iterator24:The base would be the many tourism awards that south africa collects on the daily. There can't be a better endorsement than that. Even the constant stream of nigerians wanting a piece of the action can't be a better endorsement than the international recognition that SA keeps getting as a desirable destination. |
Henry120:And I made my own observation back, as I always do - respond as required and appropriate. Go back and read your own posts and mine while I cruise as advised. |
Henry120:Funny how I'm suddenly "off topic" now that you don't like the direct responses to your own posts. Yes, attack me in frustration, why don cha? Mr "I'll post about aids and crime and whatnot when I'm upset". Do me a favour Henry, if you don't wanna talk about it, don't post about it. Fair deal, that. Or better yet, go read my last 20 posts and count there how many are military as well as how many of those military topics started you off on your tirade. Or even better, go see how many unprovoked posts of yours were on what I responded directly to. Take your own advice, Henry. Deal? |
EVarn:In other words, they visit regardless of "everything" Yes, they visit and recognise notwithstanding "the crime" and "HIV". But Nigeria gets no tourism award recognition notwithstanding its being "wonderful". Notwithstanding its being "wonderful", Nigeria sees Nigerians streaming out and into South Africa. Awards that Nigeria will not even smell in its wildest dreams: 1. Legend Golf & Safari Resort won World's Leading Safari Resort. 2. Shamwari Game Reserve's Eagles Crag Lodge won World's Leading Eco-Lodge. 3. Shambala Private Reserve won for being the World's Leading Private Game Reserve 4. Thanda Private Game Reserve was awarded the World's Leading Luxury Lodge. 5. Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spa won as the World's Leading Boutique Hotel for the 15th consecutive year. 6. The Saxon's website won the award for being the World’s Leading Hotel Website. 7. Best Safari destination - South Africa 8. Cape Town voted telegraph's best city to visit. On and on it goes, the awards list, I can't even keep up. All this notwithstanding "everything" LOL LOLLZY LOLZ. MEANWHILE, Nigeria, the land of official antitravel warnings, meanwhile...their tourism chief says human turn to beasts at night, to eat animals. Go figure. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/173246-nigeria-tourism-chief-claims-humans-turn-wild-beasts-devour-livestock.html Strange about the "terrible South Africa" and the "wonderful Nigeria". Strange. |
EVarn:Yet and notwithstanding, Nigerians and awards keep coming. |
iterator24:I do not see a "none but essential travel" anywhere. All I see is the following: "The majority of US citizens who travel to South Africa generally make it back without incident," he told the publication. US president Barack Obama is due to visit Pretoria and Cape Town at the end of June. From your own source. And from my own, I see the picture below about Nigeria. I then see the following also about South Africa, notwithstanding "crime": SA Named World's Leading Safari Destination for 2014 http://allafrica.com/stories/201412210098.html I do not see that or similar anywhere about Nigeria. All I see are Nigerians streaming everywhere, instead, away from "the wonderful Nigeria" including into South Africa. Point is, the "terrible South Africa" is an attraction, has been recognised and AWARDED as such; and the "wonderful Nigeria" is not. But then again, with articles such as the below, it is UNDERSTANDABLE how the "wonderful Nigeria" is what it is. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/173246-nigeria-tourism-chief-claims-humans-turn-wild-beasts-devour-livestock.html "Nigeria tourism chief claims humans turn to wild beasts to devour livestock"
|
iterator24:Nigeria has no idea what its own crime rate is. Notwithstanding "everything", the world awards South Africa again and again as an ATTRACTION and not a REPELLENT. Nigerians themselves award South Africa via their continuous streaming into the country, no matter what happens to them in the process. Meanwhile, Nigeria itself has been deemed a REPELLENT via official anti-travel warnings. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/nigeria
|
Henry120:Yes, in this instance the "everywhere" is the "terrible place" called South Africa, which the Nigerians are streaming into. Some of them go through the below in an attempt to get into South Africa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRCPpcSFG7E And the fact that Nigerians stream everywhere alone settles it. And yes, the "terrible place" called South Africa has won tourism awards this year which have the following words in their name: "best destination" "best" So many awards, I have lost count. These awards were bestowed by professional tourism bodies, who have bestowed zero AWARDS on Nigeria. That's vastly different from being simply noted (without being seen as deserving of any awards) as being "mostly visited", which in Lagos' case is to be expected given Nigeria's overpopulation (the top two most visited cities being where again? Yes). Which overpopulation and infestation means what again? That Nigerians will stream everywhere, as long as it is away from "the wonderful" place called Nigeria. The "natural explorers" are "economic refugees", more like. Thank you sir. |
EVarn:Yet, the "terrible place" has swept off the table all meangful tourism awards on offer this year. Meaning the world likes the "terrible place" Nigerians particularly are streaming into the "terrible place", some even asking for asylum. Oh, the irony! Meanwhile, there are official anti travel warnings against half the territory of Nigeria. "None but essential travel only". Oh, the irony! |
NaijaPikinGidi:You can't blame others for your own failure to 'prove the failures'. That's what happens when you argue about something you don't have a firm grasp of. Talk about evacuation, it is Nigeria today that has the highest number of persons internally displaced by conflict. That's evacuation, mate. The evacuation not of beasts, but of humans. |
EVarn:LOL "answer in your question". You copy South African forumites now? So the answer is in my question? Which part of the question? That the army is: 1. unskilled? 2. rag tag? 3. cowardly? That part of the question? A military in a state of emergency is on high alert. If they can't foresee what is known to be the behaviour of terrorists, then 1,2,3, fits. They couldn't foresee the second abduction of girls? They couldn't foresee the abduction of villagers? They couldn't foresee the murder of boys in school? The capture of territory, they couldn't foresee? The attack of army barracks, your "sophisticated military" couldn't see? So what exactly can they foresee? Nothing? And you wanna call these guys sophisticated? So your military cannot foresee anything and cannot stop anything that's unforeseen anyway? Well, well, I think we should add #4 to the list: hapless. Naw, bra. |
Who will dismiss the content of this piece? Or, will they shoot the messenger that is Sahara, as usual? http://dailypost.ng/2014/12/28/generals-corrupt-fight-boko-haram-sahara-reporters-carpets-nigerian-army/ A Nigerian news site, Sahara Reporters, accused by the Nigerian Army of working for the Boko Haram sect, has taken the security organisation to the cleaners, calling it a “petty organisation” filled with Generals who specialise in deploying troops to attack the news organisation on twitter. Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, told The Paradigm that he is not in anyway surprised the Nigeria Army has resorted to name-calling. Dismissing the allegation against Sahara Reporters, the New York-based journalist said, “The US Government was similarly accused of working for Boko Haram for refusing to sell helicopters to the Nigerian Army. The Nigerian Army has been reduced to a petty organization. The other day they deployed their men chasing after newspaper delivery vans across Nigeria because some were critical of their handling of the anti-terrorism fight. Continuing, Sowore stated that “Since they (Nigerian Army) can’t find or arrest our (Sahara Reporters) copies, they’ve resorted to cheap blackmail. The content of the petition clearly speaks on how Boko Haram could be defeated; states why they haven’t been defeated. “The petition indicted senior military officers including stating how a GOC was diverting money and food, and also building a mansion in Kaduna. But instead of investigating and acting on the content of the petition, the military hierarchy is engaging in subterfuge and deflecting public attention from the real issues. “We join the long line of conscientious watchdogs branded by the Nigerian authorities for saying and reporting the truth,” Sahara Reporters publisher said. Sowore added “The Nigerian Army needs to return to being a serious and respectable fighting force in Africa not an organization of generals whose only skills are limited to deploying troops to fight dirty on Twitter” |
mzilakazi:And land, man. And land. |
mzilakazi:Yes, man. These poached subjects know full well that they have no military. That's why they set up the civilian force to fight BH. The military is incapable. |
NaijaPikinGidi:They never had such a mission in the first place. You cannot fail in something you never aimed to do. I'll tell you who has failed: It is the military that was given a state of emergency in 2012, but continues to fail to take advantage of it. It is the military that has "killed" Shekau ten times already but still has to deal with him in reality. A military that is known for putting usain bolt to shame whenever Boko approaches. The military that only had one job but fails to deliver. That's who has failed my friend. |
overhypedsteve:The SANDF men went there to give support as required by SANparks. Given that you wanna talk on the subject, you do know who SANparks is and who they report to, don't you? |
EVarn:It's not a question of "if" bra. And the other question is why and how did they lose the territory in the first place? How do they lose their equipment to boko haram? How did they lose human beings to boko haram capture? Hell, the question is how do they fail to stop what you claim to be light years ahead of? Please tell us. 1. Cowardly? 2. Rag tag? 3. Unskilled? Pick one, two or all three. Your choice. |
Henry120:Lol 19 is bigger than 17%. More nigerians die everyday from aids. |
Henry120:A filthy south African HIV carrier had a lesser chance of DYING from aids than a hapless nigerian one.
|
mzilakazi:Anyway, Honduras officially has the world's highest murder rate. And by the way, Nigeria has no reliable stats. So even Nigerians don't know what their own murder rate is.>>> http://leadership.ng/news/328100/dearth-reliable-statistics-nigeria |
mzilakazi:Exactly! Those who know can manage it and lead healthy lives. But Nigerians have no clue, which is why they die like flies today. And more will die in the coming years. You can run from AIDS, but you can't hide from it. The proof of the HIV is in the: 1. MTC transmission rates; 2. AIDS related deaths; and 3. AIDS babies. You can't hide those since tests and postmortems are compulsory. |
Henry120:I am sorry too when I look at AIDS caskets , I find that most of them are painted in the Nigerian flag of white and green. Not south Africa's. When I look at kids being gifted with HIV/AIDS by their mothers, most speak Yoruba and Igbo. Not south African. Hell, when I look at toddlers that won't see their 21st birthday because of AIDS, most speak Hausa. You cannot be all these things if you aren't a hapless AIDS carrier nation that isn't educated enough to control the disease. |
Henry120:Yet nigeria has anti travel warnings against it. Nigeria has the highest number of persons internally displaced by conflict. Nigeria has the lowest child and adult literacy rates. Nigeria leads the failed states indices. Nigeria leads the corruption indices. Nigeria leads on forcefully marrying minors off. But wait, there's more! Nigeria faces more AIDS deaths than anyone else. So, my friend, what is happening in Nigeria? By the way, the rand is one of africa's too currencies. Stronger than even the yen or Chinese RMB. Thank you. |
Henry120:You cannot have more aids deaths in a region if you aren't aids ridden. When the question is asked: who does aids kill more? The answer is: Nigeria. In absolute numbers, Nigerians die more and South Africans die less. I definitely would be ashamed if I were nigerian given that a manageable disease is killing is en masse. And not only that, nigeria leads the world in AIDS babies and MTC transmission rates. That spells "AIDS ridden" my friend. By the way, a country of 177 m has the largest GDP, so this GDP is nothing to be proud of, seeing as it's only because of the population. |
Henry120:No bra, you contribute 19% of ALL AIDS deaths in the region of SSA. Own it. Now on top of everything else, you can't do stats. Your stats have nothing to do with the picture below. More Nigerians DIE in absolute numbers than anyone else. A country that contributes a bigger slice of AIDs deaths in a region is: 1. An aids shithole; and 2. Aids ridden. #kearn2Statistic Anyway I'd rather know I have HIV and not die from AIDS than be a Nigerian who doesn't even know what HIV is and dies from AIDS illnesses by the thousands.
|
Henry120:And yet, the AIDS bodies are piling up in lagos. You can't be more AIDS ridden than the country that has more deaths from AIDS. A country that leads mother-to-child transmission rates and has more AIDS babies.
