Cazorla competitition for that role will be a older and slower Yaya or a Gundigan who has spent the better part of the last 3yrs in hospital

Walcott is definitely more useful at the moment that Sterling Navas and Sane, they all have pace but Walcott is even more clinical than all of them

2. Bellerin is younger and better than City's right backs. Full backs do a lot of running, and bellerin is younger and more dynamic than any of Sagna and Zabaleta.

3. Gibbs and Monreal vs Clichy/Kolarov. Citys LB are old and cant compete

Otamendi and Stones are very poor compared to Koscielny and Mustafi. Infact I will pick Arsenals entire defence line + keeper over City

Midfield. The only genuine world class player on top of the game in City midfield is Debruyne. Silva is older, Same with Yaya. Fernandidnho and Fernando are not any different from Coq and Xhaka

I will pick Walcott as a winger ahead of any of Sane, Navas and Sterling

Infact if you combine both teams my 11 as at today will be

One of Peps tactics is to have a full back bombing down. Alves one of the most attacking full backs of all time was deployed to devastating effect. Which of those tired legs full backs can race up and down the flanks like Alves or alaba.

And what will he create the new Busquets pedro Messi from? Clay? All these are from the youth team. Has anyone sensible been produced from the city academy

Who will recycle possession like Busquets, play from the back like Pique, bomb down the flanks like alves etc

I am not buying this old age thingy being attached to Peps present predicament. While some may want us to believe it is due to certain factors like old fullbacks,Dms and useless CBs ,I dare say it is not!

How come some are using the age factor as an excuse for this manCity team? Why exactly? When the Pep in question was never known to rely on defenders. Pep as a matter of fact is well known to never defend. It is on record according to claims made by certain individuals, Pep drove away all the main stars in barca in 2008 infused certain players into the senior team and created a beast out of those individuals. Credit was given to him for making Messi, Xavi, busquet, iniesta, pedro and co.... I am yet to see were he made a beast out of several defenders in that barca. I am yet to see were anyone praised Pep for being pragmatic or being a great organizer of his defense line or having the skill set to create a beast or a monster out of defenders. Why make the excuse now? And ,why can't he create a new busquet for manCity or a pedro or Messi or iniesta or pique etc? Why!!!!?

I am sure a smart man like raumdeuter will possibly come up here to quickly point out the number of 30plus players in the city team. So I also brought out a list for barca without players like Henry ,Eto, and co.

Please it is on record I never agreed with raumdeuter before Pep took over that this manCity is filled with old players. And ,I am still not agreeing now. Funny part is, immediately Pep started beating teams at the beginning of the season,all talk of 30+ plus players disappeared. The only thing we read and heard was how good a manager Genius Pep is, and how he was going to win the league by December. So what has changed since then?

Please, enuff of all the excuses!!! If he fails come season end, he should hold his 'L' strong!! Except he goes on to do better in the coming seasons, he will be remembered as a fraudiola and not as a guadiola.

It's not really Pep's fault that City started the season with four 30+ year old fullbacks, Virtually no DM, and only one serviceable centre-back..

Pep's main mistakes have been Hart/Bravo, and insisting on playing a style that he doesn't seem to have the legs for. I don't think I can blame him for City's failings in the market.

How exactly is it not peps fault city started the season with 30+ fullbacks with no Dms? I mean this guy knew for months he was heading to manCity. He made stones his only option not minding the 30+ full backs plus CBs in mangala, otamendi and Kompany.

You are spot on mr diggz. We only have epl and FA cup to play so why the need for more signings. However, this can be addressed end of season that is, during summer transfer window due to ucl games next season. We need one more quality midfielder, a striker, rwb to compete with moses and a quality ball playing CB. Not forgetting christensen, he should be recalled.

This season actually provides us with the much needed opportunity to test players like Ake ,cholabah ,RLC n co. Let us even see if they will fit or not. This guys are in their early twenties if I am not mistaken and they can't keep going on loans forever. We can use this period to test and ship out those we won't need anymore instead of stockpiling players.

Chris,kalas and Wallace readily comes to mind for the backline. Asides Ake, I am not sure we have any viable prospects for the left back position.

Our major worry should be the number 9 position, with all the Costa drama. Also, I still don't trust Alonso so I wouldn't mind a direct competition for him since from all indications Ake is likely to compete with Cahill for his position.

We may not have like for like replacements for either matic or Kante however, we have fabregas, cholabah and Ake (recently back from loan). Except any of those three are getting loaned out or sold in this window I am sorry,we are definitely ok in the midfield area.

Nolito even when he wasnt a regular was a good off the bench player who delivered points, Sane was key in their defeat of Arsenal, Gabriel is not even playing yet, Gundogan was one of their key pieces when they played and defeated Barcelona
