I have the connect for Bahrain, I’ll advise you not to pay any agent 1.4m for Bahrain visa. A friend of mine left for Bahrain last month, he did the 1 year tourist visa for 700k, booked his flight about 300k, got there and searched for job, he is working now, minimum monthly pay per month according to him is 220k in naira, accommodation provided . Best believe if you pay 1.4m to this ur person, when you get to Bahrain, he will probably make you pay another 200-250k to secure a job there.

Hi Rosey, could you kindly share the Bahrain contact?

Belize is not like Cyprus where you have North and South Cyprus. There is only one Belize same way you have only one Nigeria. However, the northern part of the country is close to and shares a border with Mexico. For instance, Corozal is geographically located in the Northern end of the country. The people there are mainly Mestizos. Mestizos are people who are of Native indigenous American and European ancestry. The Southern part of the country are places like Dangriga, Punta Gorda and Placencia. These are coastal cities kind of like you have Lagos or Port harcourt for instance. They have direct access to the ocean. Fish, shrimp and other seafood is very cheap in the Southern part of the country. The people in the Southern part of the country consist of Black people, as well as a few Mestizos and some racially mixed people. Then you have the Island of Ambergris Caye which can be reached by passenger speed boat because it is a stand alone island but it is part of Belize nonetheless. It is inhabited by the locals but also has a large white foreigner immigrant population. A lot of White Americans, White Canadians and Europeans live there. As a result of their presence there, cost of living is high. Groceries are expensive. Employment opportunities are few except you desire to work in the hotel and tourism industry. There are some beautiful 5 star hotels there that attract tourists from around the world.

Belize has only one capital. The capital of Belize is BELMOPAN. Then you have Belize City. Belize City used to be the former capital of Belize until a hurricane destroyed the city badly many years ago. So, the government created the City of Belmopan and moved the capital of Belize there. Belmopan has no access to the ocean. It is located inwards for a reason. Belmopan is like Abuja while Belize City is like Lagos. Belize city is the commercial capital of Belize just like Lagos is the commercial capital of Nigeria. Belmopan is the capital and the seat of government of Belize just like Abuja is the capital and seat of government of Nigeria.

Many Nigerians live mostly in Belize City, the commercial capital due to access to employment opportunities. Belize City is where you also have the International airport, movie theaters, hotels, shipping port where ships arrive from outside the country, companies, various businesses, etc. Belize City is the equivalent of Lagos City but Lagos is much bigger than Belize City. The Nigerian community in Belize City is not very organized from what I was told by someone I know. They do have events like the celebration of Nigerian Independence but that was before the Covid-19 pandemic.

So, let me touch on the visa renewal question. The first 5 months, you renew your visa on a monthly basis. The visa renewal fees is 200 Belizean Dollars (USD $ 100) per month. From the 6th month, you can apply for a work permit. The labor Department is in charge of processing and approving work permit applications but they make it difficult for foreigners. You will have to find an employer willing to hire you. Then, that employer will have to place a job vacancy in 3 different newspapers for 3 consecutive weeks. The job vacancy advertisements must be included with your work permit application. If a citizen or permanent resident is not available for the advertised jobs, then you, the work permit applicant will be considered. So getting work permit is difficult because of the rule in place that states an employer must advertise a job vacancy in 3 different newspapers for 3 consecutive weeks if wishing to hire a foreigner who has no permanent residency. Most employers won't do that. They advertise their job openings via Facebook which is free. Advertising a job vacancy in a newspaper is expensive. Some Nigerians just go for a business work permit and call it a day. It's easy to get a business license.

After living in Belize for 1 year continuously, you can apply for permanent residency. You are not allowed to leave the country for more than 10 days within a 12 month period if you absolutely need to travel outside of the country.

Nigeria Dollar Visa or Mastercard will work in Belize if the card is linked to a U.S Dollar domiciliary account at Nigerian banks like Access bank, GTB, UBA and the likes.

Belize has a national airline called TROPIC AIR. It does not fly to Europe, Asia, Africa or United States. It flies within the country and to neighboring countries like Mexico, Guatemala and the likes.

Healthcare is free in Belize as long as you go to a government-funded hospital called REGIONAL HOSPITAL. If you go to a private hospital, you will bear the entire cost of treatment including medication. If it is surgery, you will pay a small amount at the government-run hospitals because the government bears the majority of the cost. Same for child bearing. You pay a small cost at government-run hospitals. Doctor consultation is free and Medication is free at government-run hospitals both for citizens, legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. This is why Belizeans run to the doctor for everything little thing including headache. Because healthcare is free.

Doctors, nurses, teachers are in demand. There are Nigerians working in the healthcare sector especially in nursing. Some Nigerian men drive taxis for a living. Some Nigerians are working in the hotel and tourism industry. There are no African food markets in Belize like in the United States, Canada and Britain. Anyone who is willing to open an African foodstuff market in Belize will make money because Nigerians and Africans in Belize will appreciate that especially if the store is located in Belize City. Right now, Nigerians/Africans have to order Nigerian/African groceries from the United States and that can be expensive due to shipping costs.

I believe I have addressed all your questions. I'm out! Shalom!

Thank you and Yes you did. UnTill my future questions. God bless you sir

I don't email strangers. Feel free to ask any questions you might have on this thread and I will be more than happy to respond. That way, others too can learn.

Thank you for your response.
I read somewhere about North and South of Belize and how that they are different and one is less friendly to tourist/strangers. Not sure I remember the names of the towns anymore
Which parts would you advice a Nigerian coming in to settle down? North or south? And it seems they have two capitals-kind of confusing for me.

Would you advise one to live in capital or further? In terms of cost of living, work and opportunities?

Is it true that one renews visa monthly for up to 6 months and only then can one get a work permit and begin to pay for work? And can only apply for PR after 1yr?

Can Nigeria Dollar card work there?

Is there a vibrant/organised Nigerian community there?

If one has a health emergency accident or need for emergency surgery, what are the chances as compared to Nigeria.

Do they have a national airline?

What are the common business opportunities that exist there in which you feel there is a need or a gap that a serious hustling Nigerian can start and succeed in, that's if u compare with Nigeria.

Thank you

Belize is a nice country few years back its easier because they have a company that handles their application aside from their consulate which allows you to submit via third party.

Now that has been cancel and all application will go through the embassy.

Just make sure u have a genuine invitation letter most case an education invitation for conference is better just can easily be gotten from online.

This been said package your application and submit at their consulate in Abuja.

It is not visa free. You will have to submit your visa application and supporting documents to the Belize consulate in Abuja and pay your visa fees. Your application will be sent to Belize immigration in Belize and they will be the ones to decide if they will issue you the visa or not. Many Nigerians get denied but your case might be different and they might approve you who knows?

These are 10 Easiest countries good for Immigration from Nigeria, enjoy it.

When talking about 10 easiest countries good for immigration from Nigeria you will be amazed that some of the countries we are going to tell you here are not the usual ones you are used to on the Internet.

Our number one pick surprisingly is the Nigeria next-door neighbour the Benin Republic. It is astonishing to see people saving millions of Naira and selling their prized properties in order to travel to Europe, North America or far away land such as Asia or Oceania, searching for fortune that are very difficult to get or exist only in their imagination, risk everything and at the end suffer untold hardship whereas across the border there is a safe haven.

10 EASIEST COUNTRIES GOOD FOR IMMIGRATION FROM NIGERIA
1. BENIN REPUBLIC

Most of the negative things you may want to run away from in Nigeria doesn’t exist in the Republic of Benin. Talking about Arm robbery, kidnapping, religion or ethnic violence, unstable national currency, very unreliable power and water supply. And to cap it all no reliable and workable national urban design.

The Republic of Benin your next-door neighbour although a French-speaking in theory, realistically you have no language problem because the majority of the people you meet in your daily interactions speak your language with passion.

The money you are wasting struggling to get to those unfriendly countries such as Europe and the United States. Paying for visas that seem to be gambling, or get scammed in the process. Travelling and reaching their airport and be turned back over flimsy reasons (US) Entering and be put in detention camps over nothing but the colour of your skin (Australia, Germany etcetera) Forcefully taken away your passport and money (Dubai) Changing plane or transiting and be turned back without reaching your destination (Egypt, UAE, Turkey etcetera) are more than enough to invest in a legal business across the border and be a master of your destiny.

The best way to live in the Benin Republic as a Nigerian is to establish a small scale business. Establishment of business is not difficult if you have the means. Likewise getting a shop or renting a space is easier than most adjacent countries. In establishing a business venture, focus on goods needed by Nigerians and getting customers will be easier. Remember 95 per cent of imported good arrives the Benin Republic definitely ended up in Nigeria. The Benin Republic is an ideal place for you to live and do business legally.

2. GHANA

It beat my imagination that Nigerians usually overlook Ghana when taking a decision in relocating to another country.

Ghana is an English-speaking country with a stable energy supply which is very vital in all industrial survivals or your daily business activities. No wonder many big and well-known brands or industries relocated and are still relocating from Nigeria due to an unstable and unreliable power supply.
Despite the border bottlenecks and highly corrupt border officials on the way, travelling between Lagos and Accra is under a day journey by road and well affordable.

Setting up a small-scale business in Ghana and meeting their requirements will be a child play comparing with any European country.

3. IVORY COAST

Ever since I was a kid, farming with my father in our village called Olori near Oyo I have seen many of my uncles, aunts, cousins and distance relatives packing their bags heading to Abidjan with ease. (A nearby town called Ajigbo in Osun State Nigeria is a good example) in those days, I did not know that Abidjan is in another country. Most of them are well to do families today and many people are still emulating them.

Why don’t you take a trip to Ivory Coast, take advantage of the ECOWAS treaty that makes it easy for you to travel and stay for 90 days without a visa? Find out the type of business you can invest part or all of the money you’re taking to Europe or North America and become your own boss.

4. THE GAMBIA

The Gambia is a small West African country. An English-speaking country that is almost entirely surrounded by Senegal. The western coastline is shared with the mighty Atlantic ocean.

The Gambia is a country with low import duties and minimal administrative bottlenecks. A country where you can set up a business and be making it big with no language barrier and an educational system that is well-tailored to suit your children’s need. It is a place you can live and settle down with your family.

5. NIGER REPUBLIC .

For those sojourning to Europe taking a highly risky, very long, dangerous and laborious journey through the Agadez-Niger desert, which most people disastrously end in an unstable and dangerous Libya. Why can’t you terminate the journey in Maradi, Niger Republic? Tell them you’re not going again.

Niger, your neighbour to the north is a quiet place you can relocate to and start a business without much hindrance. Unlike the negative attitudes of some few African countries, you can live and be transacting your business daily in Niger Republic without molestation

There are some items you can buy from Nigeria and take across the border and you’re in business. Equally find out those items you can buy from Niger, plenty of them that you can sell with ease in Nigeria. Settle down in Niger is not difficult because it is an ECOWAS member country, also culturally we shared so many things in common.
It is much easier to move goods from the north than the south.

The rate of crime in Niger is far lower than in Nigeria. There are schools that teach in English, therefore, educating your children will never be a problem.

The weather is unfriendly but they enjoy stable electricity better than most places in Nigeria.

Instead of embarking on a highly risky desert journey that may end in war-torn Libya. And get caught by Libya human traffickers. Or in Algeria where they will deliberately throw you into the desert to perish. Be warned that Arabs in those two countries lack human feeling, they’re capable of doing unthinkable bad things. Simply, a term them as animals in human skin. Please in your own interest avoid Libya, they’re wicked.

6. CANADA

Despite the mad rush that occurred in last quarter of 2017 and early 2018 when many Nigerians throw caution into the wind and moved en mass illegally to Canada, despite so many obstacles on the way using illegal routes between US and Canada borders. Canada remains one of the few friendly countries a Nigerian citizen can relocate and be better for it.

All the negative and scary reasons that want to make a man run from his homeland for a while are non-existence in the North America nation of Canada. Massive unemployment and underemployment, serious ethnic and religious debacles and outright wars, high crime rates, unreliable and erratic energy supply. Very bad motor roads. The high and uncontrolled population are what average Nigerian battles with on a daily basis.

There are two ways you can easily migration to Canada
1. Apply for a student visa. If you enter as a student achieving residence become easy.
2. Take advantage of the current industrial shortages in Canada by processing their express entry program. This is a programme if pursued diligently by using your connections in Canada preferably it will get you there.
STILL ON EASIEST COUNTRIES GOOD FOR IMMIGRATION FROM NIGERIA

7. ECUADOR

Ecuador is one of the easiest countries a Nigerian can relocate and find his ways. It could be regarded as a new-found land for many due to its libra visa policy. Only about one thousand Nigerians are living there currently.

If you don’t mind the distance Ecuador is a preferable place for an immigrant who is looking for a safe and clean country. It is a place where you can obtain residence permits without frustration and molestation.

For those willing to work in Ecuador, work is not readily available, however, you can get it if you have the right connections.

There are some websites we can recommend for you to search for your choice jobs.

10 EASIEST COUNTRIES GOOD FOR IMMIGRATION FROM NIGERIA – SART YOUR OWN BUSINESS

For those willing to set up small-scale businesses, Ecuador is the best places for you. It’s a place you can get things done without administrative or bureaucratic bottlenecks.
The huge money you can use in struggling for visas and travel to North America or West Europe where you can lose your way and become a public charge could be enough to start something reasonable here.

According to Retire-in-Ecuador.com “Ecuador presently remains number one of the top ten internationally rated best places in the world to retire to for the past several years in a row.”
There are sound programmes designed for retirees that are so good to make you want to stay the rest of your life in Ecuador.

8. PARAGUAY

Our next take is a delightful country called Paraguay. A landlocked South American country sandwiched by Argentina and Brazil.

Paraguay is a country of high literacy rate, higher than most developed countries. It is a safe and peaceful place. The people are very friendly and civilized.
If you have the means and you are looking for a country to relocate where the cost of living is relatively low, choose Paraguay.

Living or working in Asuncion, Formosa or any other city in Paraguay is a wonderful experience.

Securing Paraguay visa is not difficult and achieving their residence permits is easy for those who desire to stay permanently.

For those immigrants wanting to stay permanently, it is possible to deposit a certain amount of dollars in Paraguay bank which qualifies you Paraguayan residency. It will enable you to stay indefinitely and after three years you’re qualified to apply for citizenship.

9. PANAMA

Panama is an independent Central America country. It can be regarded as a land bridge connecting the north and south America. It shared border between Costa Rica and Colombia.

Panama is our next preferable choice on 10 easiest countries good for immigration from Nigeria.

Due to the fact that migration is increasingly difficult nowadays worldwide, comparatively Panama present you reasonably not a too difficult process if you’re looking for a country to relocate.

It is a well-known fact that Panama is a prime focus and location for retirees and experts when thinking of a reliable place for permanent resident.

There is the various programme that is designed to make it easy for a foreigner to set up a business. You can acquire land and set up agaric business provided you have the means.

You do not have problems in converting currency, because the US dollar is the national currency.

If you desire to work in Panama try to surf the net. There are some websites that can assist you in these regards. It’s possible to get a work visa if you secure employment prior to your departure from your home country.

10. BELIZE

Belize a small country situated in Central America and shared the border with Mexico and Guatemala is another country we’re recommending to you for immigration due to the fact that:

1. It’s an English-speaking country, therefore, getting along will not be difficult.
The entry visa is not difficult to obtain.
It’s also possible to renew the visa when you are inside.
The cost of living is low.
It’s a diverse population.
You will enjoy the weather.
Excellent retirement programme for retirees coming from abroad.
If you’re staying in Belize and have proof of sufficient financial resources it easy to obtain permanent residency.
If you have the means it is possible and easy to establish your own business.

Thanks for this. I am interested in the Route for Belize. Please how does it work?

If you are talking about WAPCO, you missed the dividend bus by a long time not just T+3.

The AGM and payment date is 3 June 2020 but the qualification date for dividend was 30 April 2020 and the register was closed for the purpose of compiling the names of qualified shareholders for dividend between 4 and 7 May.

The date that matters if you are targeting dividend is the qualification date which is usually a trading day before the price markdown date.

Thanks a lot. I had a slip of eye. Misread June 3 to be qualification date.
