yugotee: If you don't have your facts right, then don't make such public comments! Ask yourself this simple question; How was the Banking sector in Nigeria perceived globally before Soludo? Soludo came in and shook the sector by repositioning it to compete globally! The merger alone is the reason why you can see the like of UBA, GTB, Zenith and some other banks competing in some African countries other than Naija! People can now trust financial institutions because of the policies his administration put in place @ CBN. SOLUDO - SOLUTION 2 Anambra!
Anambra is far more complicated than the nigerian banking sector! Ngige has ridden the tiger before, controlled the tiger and gave excellent account of himself. I don't want Soludo because, Iam 100% sure that he will fail.

Don Jazzy you are here again? E be like say you no dey hear word. D banj got 30 seconds how many seconds did Don Silly sorry Jazzy get?
LIST OF DON JAZZY S FLOPS AFTER MO' HITS BREAK UP:

1, Rushed to produce an album immediately after the break up(SOLAR PLEXUS). The album was a mega flop.

2, Rushed to open a night club(POP. The club closed in less than six months of operations due to debt(couldn't pay staff)

3, Due to acute cash crunch, unable to host own shows.

4, Drove by frustration to sign a weak, lowly, embarrassing and paltry 5m(some say 500k) deal with Loya Milk.

5, Out of jealousy and shame hides behind various names and identities to attack D banjs superlative success online.

&, Sells sorry dashes recharge cards online to his followers to attack D banjs career.

ideylaff: There was really no need to go along these lines on this thread, we we know Dbanj very well na awa small broda

Let me tell you one thing... loud noise or showing face all over does not translate to more money in the account because Dbanj is haemoragging cash big time... his expenses is getting bigger than what he rakes in...

No taking sides... but if you dont know that there deal involving kanye did not translate into dem getting signing on fees, it was an agreement in which Mo Hits even had to pay Kanye 2 use his marketing prowess and platform to launch Dbanj into the global scene

check the records well, the only person that even got paid for the ist project was Don Jazzy for his production work on Jazz /beyonce track on watch The Throne...Track called Lift off

from the album Watch the Throne
Released August 23, 2011 (2011-08-23)
Format Airplay
Genre Hip hop, R&B
Length 4:26
Label Roc-A-Fella, Roc Nation, Def Jam
Writer(s) Kanye West, Shawn Carter, Jeff Bhasker Mike Dean, Peter Hernandez and Seal Samuel
Producer West, Bhasker, Mike Dean, Q-Tip (co.), Don Jazzy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lift_Off_(song)

also Dbanj and Don Jazzy have learned to live in harmony without any quanta, so no need for all this, we still saw them together @ Dbanjs brodaz wedding

Also maybe you dont know that the theme song that was played at the start of every AFCON game was produced by Don jazzy... so how can he be poor? LOL

Not taking sides, but please dont drag jazzy on the floor @ the expense of Dbanj... No need...

Dbanj is meant to be part of Kanyes Good Music crew and all he gets on the label album was 30 secongs of him humming

if hes making that much money why is he back in Nigeris most of the time now... cos hes realised that Kanye has no use for him... was surprised and taken aback when Kanye demanded apperance monet to appear@ his 1st Koko concert, he had to do a last minute detour to get Tiny Tempar and co when he could not afford the fees kanye "his so called mentor@ asked for to show up in NIgeria.... so you can see its a partnership that is costing Dbanj more monet than he is meant to be making

We dont talk much on here but when we speak we give you facts... you can check them up if you feel like. Its well documented all over....

Dbanj still remains a bro to me ooo but we tell him the truth and its down to him if he wants to hear or make use if it

He needs to drop all his hangers on so he does not end up like Mike Tyson or MC Hammer... hes rich no doubt but no need to prove it to the world....
Highlights of the song Don jazzy Co produced for Jay-Z and Kanye West:
1, IGNs Chad Grischow wrote "the song is actually the least compelling of the album, sounding far more interesting when the heavy bass thump finally strips away late for a great piano melody and bongo fuelled beat." meanwhile IGN is one of the biggest websites that focuses on Video games, films and music.

2, Andy Hutchins writing for The Village Voice said that "Lift Off, isn't a hit" by concluding "Beyonce dominates; Kanye sounds half-invested at best; and Jay's presence is limited to four bars, one a Dale Earnhardt reference.

3, In his review of Watch the Throne, Andy Kellman of Allmusic wrote, "The lowest point is 'Lift Off,'(Don Jazzys Production) a bombastic mess; West’s stillborn, sung vocal clashes against a triumphant hook from Beyoncé, while the behind-the-scenes cast... overcook a regal and rugged, yet ultimately muddled, production"

4, Calling the song a "letdown", Tyrone S. Reid of Seattle Post-Intelligencer wrote that "even with Beyoncé supplying the hook, 'Lift Off' is dismal".

5, Even where there was praise for the song the focus was on Beyonce's vocal delivery not on Don Jazzy's absymal low grade production.

6, If anything, this explains Don jazzy's reluctance to go international: He was afraid he couln't compete, shame!

7, Even with the vocal perfomance by Beyonce, the best the song could do was at no 48 at the UK singles chart.

8, Factor in the fact that Don jazzy was just one of the five producers that produced the song and you now get a good picture of this guys failure.

Don Jazzy is that you?Na jealousy go kill all of una for Mavin label. Don jazzy the sooner you stop all this nonsense you post on nairaland against D banj the better for you. Don Jazzy if D banj has lost popularity how come his two shows since the break up was jammed to the brim. D banj singe handedly has hosted two hugely successfull shows which one have you done Mavin cricket? Let me tell you to your face, you are the one facing a terrible economic situation. Imagine you collecting 5 million naira for Loya Milk deal! A whole you. O boy you fall my hand grin.If you are so better than D banj how come your Night Club Bussiness(POP) collapsed less than six months after it started? Where is D banj hemorrhaging financially from? The Hugely successfull shows or the Bank of Industry Endorsement or the Hennessy deal? Or maybe the AFCON deal? How come Don Jazzy with all the hangers on Wande Coal, D'(gay)Prince, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage and others too numerous to mention are unable to headline one single show since after the break up? Cheapos! grin. Please leave D banj alone, it is not a crime to be successfull, who God has blessed no man can curse, D banj probably raked in Billions from his shows especially, the one at Eko Atlantic where the attendance was in hundreds of thousands! He just bought a brand new latest Honda Crv for his younger sister as a wedding gift. Talk about success!

While I do not completely agree with the OP, I think he made some valid points. I mean women are not the only victims of domestic abuse. A normal family has the father mother and child(ren),why make a law that only benefits one unit(the woman). I believe this other views should be accommodated in the law. The law should address other units of the family like the father and the children too. That is balance to me.

Music/Radio › Don Jazzy Begs Dbanj After Fans Abandon Him As His Career As A Producer Fails by dinachi(op): 9:57am On Aug 05, 2013
It is no longer news that Don Jazz's career as a music producer after Mo' hits break up is on the floor. What is news however is that he has intensified efforts to reconcile with a very reluctant D banj to save his collapsing career. D banj was said not to be interested in the reconciliation owing to the fact that he has rediscovered himself after the break up and has really reposition his career for global impact. The realization dawned on the former Don when his First album after the break up(Solar Plexus) failed to make a headway in the Nigerian Music scene. The situation was further compounded by the fact that most of the artists on the Mavin Crew lacked the required charisma to lift the label up.Most of their life performances after the break up was usually dull and uninspiring causing the former Don to understand the role Dbanj played as defunct Mo' hits front man. A desperate Jazzy has been running from pillar to post putting pressure on D banjs associates, lately his mum to plead on his behalf. On his part D banj was non-committal preferring his present arrangement which allows him to work with several producers rather than just one. Also we learnt that his reluctance was not unconnected to the rumours making the rounds that the former Don was behind all the attacks against his person and career on social media. The former Dons appearance at D banjs younger sisters wedding was part of his plan to warm his way into D banjs heart. It was learnt that desperation and very low patronage drove the former Don to partner with Loya Milk, a gamble which did not bear any serious fruit and rather lowered his ranking . Other failed bussiness ventures, especially the failed Night Club(POP) fueled his latest latest change of heart. While D banj's owned DB records has had two hugely oversubscribed shows/concerts after the break up, fear of failure has prevented Mavin to attempt same. Anyways sources close to D banj said he has not made up his mind yet.
Celebrities › Re: Don Jazzy With Dbanj At His Sister’s Wedding by dinachi(m):
The former Don having realized how much he lost by MoHits break up(He now sells Loya Milk and Groudnuts) has extended an olive branch to Dbanj. From what i gathered Dbanj was not really interested but Don Jazzy was insisting and has to approach Dbanjs mother to talk to him before D banj mercifully accepted to see him. We thank D banj for his large heart and implore Don Jazzy not to mess up again, there may not be a second chance. Maybe Dbanj may still use him as one of his numerous producers. The nest step is to publish an apology to his former Boss Dbanj in at least 5 National dailies. Jazzy should be punished for trying to bite the hands that fed him. It is good he is realizing it now.

Without presidential power it will be impossible to move LNG from Rivers State to Bayelsa State as President Goodluck Jonathan has done to mention a few. You are still a learner in Politics if you do not understand the power a president gives a zone. For Anambra state, Ngige remains my choice, Soludo is too elitist, Ngige is a grassroots man.

Politics › Re: Soludo With APGA Membership Card (picture) by dinachi(m): 2:23pm On Aug 03, 2013
No matter how much you play regional politics, a time will come when you need to come to the center. Tinubu is no fool. Why do you think he opted for APC? It is simple, there are certain kinds of achievements and development you cannot attract until you come to the center.Regional politics only worked in the sixties! That is the ingredients many of our people like you fail to understand. The North understands it that is why they are clamoring for it, the South South understands it that is why they want to hold on to it , the South West understands it that is why they merged into APC, we the Igbos need to understand it to remain relevant. Any way congrats to Soludo, my allegiance is to Chris Ngige. As has been proven before, mere certificates and academic excellence do not translate to good leadership. Sen Chris Ngige has performed excellently before, if not for the respect Igbos have for Ojukwu, Ngige would have won the election in 2010. Even then, he still beat Soludo to third place by a wide margin.

Sorry if you are angered by this question. But on a second thought i say serves you right if you let yourself be carried away by silly sentiments and gave your support to a producer who is just a one time wonder and flash in the pan, Don jazzy. Did I say one time wonder? Maybe not exactly, but then how do you describe a producer who lost his spark immediately after he parted way with an artist(D banj) who he fails to admit made him? Well, back to the question, I believe Don jazzy's pride prevented him from going on bended knees to beg Dbanj when he realized his mistakes. Mavin Records is dead and if Don jazzy does not make a smart move now to reconcile with D banj, he should be prepared to make a career in milk marketing sorry hawking, period!
