But when u say sorry to your woman, she accepts and you're happy ba?. Anyway Men and women are not programmed the same way.
Yes we do expect u to let go when we're sorry tongue
I don't think you are being fair to the OP!
The woman has also been physically abusive too before this incident. Stop supporting evil because she is a woman!

What is it with some people saying, OP took her for granted because she bore his child, lived with him outside wedlock and all? Please is the child not also hers? Did she not partake in the $ex they had? Did it all happen as a favor to the OP?
How can you people be making it sound like the OP maltreated an adult who chose to live with a man she isn't married to? Was she held against her will? Does she not have a brain? Can't she decide for herself?
Please you people should quit making it sound like women have to wait to have everything handed down to them, haba!
Brilliant analysis! Whoever marries you is in heaven already. You are blessed with wisdom.

The graveyard is full of gentlemen who could not say enough is enough at the right time! My bothers don't be a victim! Do not let a woman physically abuse you to death or emotionally abuse you till you develop high blood pressure and die. Be wise and learn from the OP.
Every year thousands of men develop high blood pressure months and years into their marriage. It is about time we look out for ourselves.
Even the Bible says IT IS BETTER TO LIVE IN THE CORNER OF THE ROOF THAN WITH A NAGGING( VERBAL AND EMOTIONALLY ABUSIVE) WOMAN!
Pls look and learn.

Op you gave her some blows because she smashed your phone on the ground? I'd be disappointed in you if I knew you.
Inasmuch as there's NO REASON whatsoever to hit your female partner, this your own reason is very pathetic.
If your baby or little child or mum smashes your phone on the ground would you give them some blows too?
A phone you could even misplace or could get spoilt and no blows would be given to anybody.
The good side of your post is that you've come to realize you were wrong and regret it. Please don't try to console yourself by saying she deserved it. Just be sorry and never repeat that again... Its beastly!
I am very very sure you didn't see where the OP posted the she used to PHYSICALLY abuse him sometimes before this incident. I didn't see you condemn her attitude as beastly. My dear stop playing to the gallery, it is not worth it.

these lady stayed with him when he was nobody, not married yet but she cooked clean even bore his child against the advice of everyone.
All he could offer was blows and punches even after pining her down becauser he is obviously stronger she still apologised but because her apologises wasn't satisfactory her resulted to more blows.
Well op I hope you feel good...after all, everyone thinks you are a loving man.
For the record,I don't support the lady but there are better ways of handling issues without resulting to bouts.
For pete's sake I have younger ones nd they sometimes behave silly but I don't punch them because I am stronger.
Stop supporting an evil woman who wants to destroy the OP through verbal, emotional and sometimes physical abuse! Learn to be fair, it will do you good.

You are a nut case and should feel guilty that you know you are mentally ill but still comes to a public forum to publish your biased opinion. Get help ASAP! The OP is a full blooded gentleman and he is a perfect example of a real man! Stick that up your ass! grin grin

There is no justifiable reason to hit a woman. Relationships do break up and both parties go their separate ways, but it is childish and barbaric for a relationship to have degenerated to the point that the couple are having wrestling bouts with each other, regardless of how vexatious the issue is.
And there is justifiable reason to verbally and emotionally abuse her man! You are indeed very smart grin grin grin

GenBuhari:
OP,
Is it not contradictory to say she deserved it whilst claiming you regretted hitting her.
From your write up, the worst she did to you was call you a hopeless orphan and you responded by insulting her family.
She locked you in to apologise but the apology turned insulting.
You were shrugging off other apologies be cause she may insult you again.
You then resorted to battery when she attempted to break your phone in response to you pinning her down.
After battering her, you left with baby, and when she followed and did not conduct herself to your satisfaction, you said that even the other ladies present could not stop you giving her even deadlier blows.
Afterwards she again apologised even though she was the person that got beaten
You never once mentioned apologising to her.
Friend, you lack self control.
You lack ability to take responsibility for your actions.
Despite the fact she stuck with you when others advised her that you were to broke, she even gave birth to you daughter and are not yet married, it appears you took her for granted.
Perhaps I have given you some insight into why she cut her losses planned an escape from you whilst you were away.
All this I gathered from your own account of events.
We have not yet heard her side of the story.
Now I don't agree with you at all! The woman started the whole thing by insulting her man in the presence of a third party. When the man tried to remove himself from the situation, she locked the doors and in the process smashed his phone on the ground. She kept apologizing, because she started and aggravated it! She has a lot of pent up anger due to her untoward relationship with bad friends. Please be objective.

We're you guys planning to get married?
Or just cohabiting?
You know Nigerian ladies don't fancy living with a man who's not ready to do right by them especially when they have people by the side mocking them about their 'cheapness' in openly living with and bearing kids for a man who won't do them the 'honor' of marriage.
I want to understand what her friends could possibly be saying to her that made her attitude change.
Her crankiness must have a source as you yourself admit she was a very good girl when you first met.
I am genuinely surprised you have not called for the mans head on a platter, knowing you. Anyways I don't believe every relationship must end in marriage even if a baby is involved.

@Vicky Rotex, you see why I don't take some of you serious? No matter the provocation, he should not have hit her? I didn't see where you said no matter the provocation, she should not have verbally and emotionally abused him! DOUBLE STANDARDS! Please always balance your advice! You didn't see where she blocked him from removing himself from the situation? You didn't see where she smashed his phone on the floor repeatedly. Honestly, I hate hypocrisy.

You should know that nature gave women a weapon and that weapon is in their mouth.
Now I can't believe you wrote this! So nature also gave men a weapon and bla bla bla....
Please let us always try to balance our advice.
Verbal and emotional abuse is as bad and evil as physical abuse! Both of them are guilty of abusing themselves. Both of them lacked self control, though I will blame the woman for aggravating the situation by blocking his exit and smashing his phone....

I only make 'meaningful' contributions to 'meaningful' threads. You keep opening the same threads bashing women. Don't you get irritated or tired of your threads?
Thread is not meaningful, because it exposes a certain character of some women? Are you guilty? That is another attitude I notice too! Are you one of those that ascribe mystery and depth to feminity?
A woman is deep, bla bla bla. Prove that! A woman is mysterious? Generate facts!
Don't panic, facts are out there, you guys are more confused than mysterious.

@OP stop making excuses for the violent beast you married. I am sorry I have to refer to her thus. When I said 90% of domestic violence cases are perpetrated by women, some mofos will be arguing with me!
Now I have to appreciate you as most men are unable to speak out because of societal expectations. Your violent abusive wife have no excuse for raising her hand against you. Even if you sort out the money issues she will still find another reason to hit you. Divorce her immediately. She is evil!

What nonsense implode and burn to ashes! Have you discussed your concerns and gotten your husband to see your point of view GENTLY?
If you cannot communicate effectively at this age then I think you should never get married. You seem to have a lot of pent up anger in you. Your husband to be is not a mind reader so TALK to him!
Seek a rapport with your in laws and stop sounding like an uptight lady with a tooth pick up her ass.

They are not mysterious at all. Like I said earlier most of them are moved by their feelings and peer pressure. Don't waste your time trying to understand them.
Family › Mysterious Or Totally Confused? by dinachi(op): 1:19am On Feb 28, 2015
Hello peeps, I don't know if you have noticed but most women like to talk and act as if feminity confers depth and mystery on them. You hear comments like' don't study me if not you won't graduate' or ' the heart of a woman is too deep to understand'
Now from my experiences and observations I don't believe women are mysterious. I think they are mostly confused about the choices they make in life. They take forever to make up their minds. They procrastinate a lot. Most bow to pressure from their friends, as if they don't have a mind of their own! That is why most women will date guys approved by their girlfriends!
Finally, while I believe women are special, I certainly know they are not mysterious.
