If your check engine light is on then you need to scan your car to know what is wrong.

Its possible water has entered into certain engine components such as the connectors for your o2 sensors or crankshaft sensor as they are the most vulnerable to flood damage.

I can't remember where the ecm for your car is positioned but if its bolted to the floor pan of the car then you must also investigate if you've got water ingress there.

Other possibilities could be that the intake duct could have suck in water while driving through the flood and damaged the airflow meter on its way into the inlet manifold.

The second opinion you got about the air flow meter being damaged is most likely.

Good day folks,am using a nissan Altima 2002-2006 model. for a while now i have been having problem with my car.it can not accelerate more than 60km/per hr.the problem started when i cross a flooded road.i took it to my mechanic he said the fuel pump is bad,in the course of trying to negotiate on how to change the fuel pump another mechanic suggested it could be the air flow.please can i get opinions from those that i had experience similar situation? I'm most grateful for any helpftul suggestion,thanks.

restart and keep pressing f10 for
bios. scrool to diagnostics and run
a hard drive test for me

It would either failed or passed the test
after that restart and keep pressing f8
continuously go to safe mode and see if the
computer would load safe mode. if it does let
us know and we may try system restore. if I does not load into safe mode
after waiting 5 minutes or so turn It off the power button. is this window's vista or win 7
we may need to run start up repair if all options fails

deji2009: is windows xp the only operating system on the computer ?

check to make sure no cd or dvd in the cd dvd drive !

The laptop starting windows indicated is loading from the hard drive and
would suggest that you remove any device attached to the computer.

for example no usb stick or sd mempry card in the slot or
anything that could prevent it from booting. Have you just installed windows or
made nay recent changes to the computer Visit google and search how to use f8 to
repair your computer that's after you have answered the questions in bold.

If after using f8 you're still not able to get to windows, we may need to system restore.

Just of curiosity, where did you obtained the antivirus from, i.e. toreent or
the one you purchased or was a trial free version

good morning my brother,sorry for bothering u,i have a problem with my hp mini.the keyboard is no longer responding except the mouse pad.i did a system recovery yet no solution.i had to start using screen keyboard,the thing is i want to give it my sister and she cant use it like that.when i checked on the control panel it showed it is working properly.and again whenever the system is booting up there is this continous beeping sound which started with the freezing of the keyboard.pls help a soul,most grateful.

olenyi: Of course. You can take it elsewhere and do ur download. Takes about 2 mins.

Do use generator so that PHCN doesn't cut off the light while u're downloading as ur rx would not be able to boot again.

By the way, hope ur rx is an original one. Don't ask how u should know the original. Can't tell u but just be sure u got the receiver from an authentic mytv dealer.

olenyi: Rx = Receiver.

If u have mytv channels, try scanning this freq 12522 H 30000 and I believe the OTA (over the air) download should be able to automatically initialize. Or switch it off and on it again after you scan to see if it will download.

tanx,in the absence of mytv @ point of installation, is it possible to take the decoder else where, download and bring it back? And pls how long long does it take to download? Tanx,more grease.....

olenyi: If ur rx is not yet upgraded, try doing so. Also the no audio/no video is from the broadcaster.

Is always advisable to use 90cm for better reception. But just upgrade and blindscan.

Besides that, their's nothing more u can do in the present situation.

olenyi: What is the % of ur signal signal strength and quality on this freq 11881 V 27500? Also on the freq 11007 v 30000? Try and see if u could bring up the signal percentage to a higher value. Say above 70 - 80%. Then blindscan.

tanx for the prompt response,my signal strenght is exactly 70%,yeah! I'm using a 60cm dish.though i have gotten infinity package but not even one of the channel is showing just showing no video/audio .i'm yet to get waptv, E and CO,Tanx once again.

hello mr olenyi greetings,i tracked amos 17 degree today for a friend using srt4675 but couldn't get waptv,E,infinity channels and lots of other channels.what do u think i didnt do right? Be expecting ur response as usual,tanx and God bless.

bros856: Did you change your gear box oil before it happen, Stop the mechanic please before you loss that car. If a car is not moving means the gear is not engaged so call any Nissan office let them use their diagnostic machine to check your gear box memory. Two things are involve it's either there is error to be cleared with a machine or the gear box fiber is burnt or you have to change the gear oil.

i got almost similar problem,but in my case,i gave my car to a friend.it's like something pull out the gear box/transmission oil supply pipe under the car.so,almost all the oil leaked out.that caused the car not to move.pls what can i do to salvage this?

it worked!thank u so much,i got ait using this frequency 11007v30000,though not all of them are showing.but for nta,i didnt get nada,i inputed 11092v30000 and nothing happened,it didnt even turn green.is there another way to get nta and access the rest ait channels (ait parliament,plus and sport)? it's srt 4922a,just bought it .i inputed this frequency 12.217v27.500 on hotbird.i blindscanned and got several channels including oromia tv,infinity channels (though only a few were accessible) but cant get nta and ait.pls what frequency is nta and ait?

Call dia customer care and request to be assigned an upgrade code which when u receive it, u can approached any participating dealer around ur area for a new receiver at under #8000.

srt4922 do not come with RF out while 4922A does,enjoy.

olenyi: First of all couple the dish together (dis might be difficult except u look at ur neighbours already coupled own). Locate ur ''east'' from ur proposed dish mount point (making sure u have a clear line of sight to the horizon up to the sky). Mount ur dish (also looking at ur neighbours own for the exact mount setting)Then fix the metallic f connector at both ends of ur cable. Screw one end to the lnb at the front of the dish. Get an extension box to help bring ur ''mains'' to a point near ur mounted dish. bring out ur tv to the dish point and put it on. Connect ur receiver also to the extension box. Now screw on the other end of the cable to the point at the back panel of ur receiver labeled ''lnb input''. Connect the av wires and put it on also. (IT VERY IMPORTANT U FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE OF MY INSTRUCTIONS.)

Now as the receiver is a new one, ''ok'' every option on the screen until u get to the home screen and u see ''no or bad signal'' press menu on the remote. Press ok. Enter 4 zero's for the pin and scroll down to manual scan. Press ok. Now using the right volume button, start scrolling through the satellites until u get ''astra 1N/2abd. When u get it, scroll down to frequency and using the left volume button now, start lookin for 12.5 something something. Press zero when u get it and select edit. Enter 12.523. Scroll down to ''symbol rate'' and enter 19531. Hand the ''polarization'' to ''v'' if its not so.

Phew!!!!!

If u've gotten to this point, Then u're doing great.

Now go to ur dish. And standing at the back of the dish or hanging from a ladder, (and with ur eyes on the two red signal bars at the top right hand side of ur screen) and with ur lnb positioned in such a way dat the point with u screwed on the cable is at 4 o'clock assuming u have an imaginary clock in ur head. Start raising the dish slowing up, up , up until it pointing to the sky still with ur eyes on the signal bar for when it will turn to green to indicate u've gotten a signal (remember it should be facing east). Bring it down slowly. Now shift the dish a tiny bit horizontal to the right. (remember u're at the back of the dish)

Take it up up up again and down. Right, up up up and down. Slowly. Keep at it until u hit green or until u get to ur south. If no green. Den start repeating the steps again but this time, shift horizontally to ur left.

When u hit green, adjust the dish a little to maximize the signal percentage and then tighten the 4 screws by the side of th dish and also the ones holding it to the pole arm all this while slowly and wit ur eyes on the signal so dat it doesn't go down.. When this is done, rotate the lnb a little clockwise and a little anticlockwise to get the best position for max signal and tighten.

Hmmm.... Tired now

When dis is done, press the red button to scan. Afterwards, exit everything until it starts showing at the home screen.
