Who Is The Greatest Person To Have Ever Walked The Face Of The Earth? About 2,000 years ago, a great prophecy was fulfilled. A baby was conceived in a most miraculous way and born of a virgin. This baby grew to be the most loving person to have ever lived. He went about doing good: feeding the hungry, healing the sick, raising the dead, calming the storm, bringing joy and salvation to the oppressed and the lost. He showed the world the love of God, the Father. Who is this man? He was the humblest person. He never accepted the praise of men. He gave all glory to God. He is not just a man. He is Emmanuel -- God with us. He is JESUS. JESUS CHRIST the Son of the Living God. Come to Jesus and see the beauty and glory of God. Your life will never be the same. You will have peace and an assurance of eternal life in the Kingdom of God. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Matthew 11: 28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. |

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15: 1-3, 4, 22, 24, 52, 57 |
Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Jeremiah 32: 17 (KJV) |
Glory be to God. God, the Creator of all, reigns over the entire universe. Amen |
The resurrection of Christ holds the meaning to the Christian faith. First, according to Paul the Apostle, ‘’And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain’’ 1 Corinthians 15: 14. Thus, if Christ had not resurrected, the religion of Christianity would have been in vain. The resurrection of Christ proves the gospel to be true. Second, the resurrection of Christ shows that Jesus defeated death ‘’ O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’’ I Corinthians 15: 55-57. Third, the resurrection proves that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. If Jesus had not resurrected, then he would have followed the path of the millions of prophets and people who served God. However, his resurrection is unique and points to the truth that he is the Son of God. ‘’Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.’’ Romans 1: 4. Fourth, the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives Christians a living hope. All those who believe in Christ Jesus, are united with him, are forgiven of their sins and redeemed from a sinful nature and given an eternal inheritance with God in heaven. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3. Fifth, the resurrection of Christ means we shall be raised like him. It means we have died with him and also raised like him. ‘’ For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive’’ I Corinthians 15: 22. Sixth, the resurrection confirms the scriptures as earlier cited. ‘’Because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand’’ Psalm 16:10,11. Seventh, the resurrection means that we shall receive the Holy Spirit- The Comforter. Before the ascension of Christ, he appeared one more time to the disciples and promised them the gift of the Holy Spirit, known as The Comforter. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen Matthew 28: 18-20 How precious is the name of Jesus; how excellent is the name of our Lord! How powerful is the blood of Jesus; how sweet is the victory of Christ! In the beautiful name of Jesus, our God is glorified; in the powerful blood of Jesus, the Almighty is magnified. The love of God to humanity is quintessential in the coming of Jesus; the charity of the Almighty is perfected in the incarnation of Christ. At the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow; at the call of the name of our Lord, every tongue confesses. That Jesus is Lord; that Jesus is the Messiah. Every power in the universe has been bestowed on Jesus; every kingdom has been put under our Lord. The totality of victory belongs to Jesus; the totality of triumph belongs to Christ. It is the doing of God, the Father; it is the making of the Ancient of Days

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. |
Lovely write up. Jesus paid it all. |
Today, my people, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the greatest sacrifice any man has ever done for humanity. Jesus Christ gave his life for the salvation of mankind. About 2,000 years, Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary. He went through serious pain and shame just to redeem man from sin and condemnation. He paid the price. Hallelujah! He paid it all. For God so loved the world that He gave us His only begotten Son. That whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 Come to Jesus today. He has paid it all for you. You don't have to sacrifice anything or do anything else to be saved and ensure heaven is yours after this life. Just believe and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. That's all. Say this simple prayer: LORD Jesus, I come to You today. Please forgive my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour, sent from God the Father. Please come into my life. Thank You LORD. Amen.
