Op, my gentle advice. Never put any name before Jesus. Jesus should be Number 1 on any list or better still, not included in the list but given a special place atop all other names. Who else on the list can be number one if not Jesus, the Son of the living God? Inter Alia, that is, among other reasons, Jesus comes first because:

1. He changed the course of history. Dating of events in the whole of human history is done with reference to the birth of Jesus Christ. BC -- Before Christ. AD-- Anno Domino (In the year of our Lord (Jesus))


2. He was and remains the most humane human, the most compassionate human on earth, the humblest of men, the most powerful man to ever walk the face of the earth. He healed the sick, raised the dead, fed the hungry, brought joy and salvation to the world, reconciled man back to God, and above all, gave all glory to God the Father. No one else has ever done, can ever do, or will ever do, same. Only Jesus. Period.


There are many other reasons that Jesus should be first on the list. And there are many more reasons to say Jesus is the most influential person in the history of mankind. However, I will hold it here for now.

Yes! It is finished! Jesus said on the cross. Jesus paid it all. The work of redemption is complete. Salvation is brought down to mankind.

The story of Jesus—his birth, his philosophy, his compassion, his miracles, his suffering and death and his resurrection—can be beautifully summarized:

[b]God the Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth loves the world. Man (Adam and Eve) fell in the Garden of Eden by sinning against God. Through Adam, sin came to all humanity. God decides to send His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die and atone for the sins of mankind once and for all. No longer will the blood of sacrificed animals be needed, as practised by the biblical Old Testament Israelites. The shed blood of Christ is complete to pay for all sins of humanity. Christ endured unimaginable pain, shame and suffering, and was crucified on the cross to pay this price. Did he have to die? Yes, a sacrifice had to be made when sin is committed. God is a God of justice. This time, He gave the world the greatest gift ever—He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be the sacrificial lamb so as to pay the price of redemption of all humanity. Christ died on the cross. Just before he died, he said "It is finished!" John 19:30. Our sins are forgiven. We have salvation and the hope of eternal life. We have seen Christ. We have seen the Glory of God, the Father. Hallelujah! we have total victory.[/b]


Jesus has paid it all. There is power mighty in the blood of Jesus. At the mention of the name of Jesus, every knew will bow and very tongue will confess. It is finished. Jesus paid it all. The following Bible verses confirm our victory and salvation in Christ Jesus.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19: 30

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53: 5

Come to Jesus today. You will see the Light. Jesus says in Matthew 11: 28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." You will find peace, happiness and joy that flows like a river. Jesus loves you. Jesus brings the love of the Father. All Jesus does is good because the Father is good, gracious, loving and merciful.
