I have covered over 7000miles without removing the thermostat and the still function well without any single issue! AC cold like Moscow Town, the temperature gauge never reach ½ scale and I used it atimes without putting on AC. THE temperature fall below averageon express

When you put your issue on Nairaland open to public comment, how serious in this world is a Nigerian used Toyota Siena.
The cost of properly fixing the car is more than it is worth.

You as a business try your best to satisfy all customers, and there will be jobs you get burn on.

There are days shops wish they had turn some customers away, and it mostly happens after you get into such jobs.

It is not that I don't have sense, I have educated myself enough to make sense of my car problems. If you use a car for over 10 years like me you get to know what is wrong before taking it for repairs

I will advise you to go For the Rav 4 but go for the 2012 model because it has less issues unlike the 2006 to 2009 models which are notorious for Engine Oil shortage and steering rack knocking sound

In btw, If I carry car go Radauto and engine oil stain my interior, God knows that the animal that will wash it thoroughly cos I know what I do to my son when he eats inside the car.

As for you gloriousgbola, bury the hatchet, whatever aunty radu can do for you, manage. Lessons have been learnt.

Finally, aunty radu, get a quality assurance personnel. Dunno how u will do it, but make sure everything diagnosed is sorted before the customer leaves. They paid heavy and should therefore get “heavy” service.

He was not stopped by custom. Lucky him. If you are caught by custom, you will have to pay the full duty rate before leaving with your car.

My friend recently bought a car from a friend. The guy later sent him all documents but there was no custom duty of this car. He only shared him receipt of purchase, which was done in Abuja. After he asked the guy for custom duty papers, he said they never gave it to him. And he has already paid money and even done repairs on this car.


Is there any way to know if the duty was paid?


If you buy a car from a dealer are you not given a custom duty paper? Or the receipt is just enough?

The problems in Nigeria was caused by Nigerians!

Anytime I visit a country in Europe and I'm returning to Nigeria I notice that Nigerians always behave prim and proper at the airport but once the flight lands at MMIA in Nigeria their senses take leave and they all start behaving like mad people.

The reason why this is so is because people don't get punished for bad behaviour in this country(you can virtually get away with anything especially if you're ready to spend money), this is not just the fault of our politicians, every Nigerian is complicit in this!
