For anyone who understands English language to a decent level, has read the relevant sections for the electoral act 2022 and has not decided not to lie to themselves, deep down such people know the truth about the injustice that happened at the last presidential elections.

If Olanipekun et al lose this case, which it seems likely they will to those not in denial, it will be largely due to the fact that there is almost nothing tangible to defend INEC, Tinubu and APC with.

INEC itself practically nullified the presidential election it conducted when INEC wittingly or unwittingly declared that it had a COMPUTER GLITCH during the upload of the results of the presidential election.
INEC should have no business resorting to manual collation of votes which is ILLEGAL considering the fact that the ELECTORAL ACT of 2022 was purposely made to throw away manual collation of votes which had proven to be easily manipulated. No country of reasonable people can have a president thrown up via a computer glitch.

I want to ask, does the constitution prescribe the 25% majority in state capital for gubernatorial elections?

No. But because the president also acts as governor of Abuja, that's why the Constitution made it mandatory for a president to score 25% of votes in Abuja capital territory before declared winner of a presidential election.
A presidential candidate can win all the 36 states, but if he fails to win 25% of votes in Abuja capital territory, he cannot be declared winner of a presidential election.
The constitution is not ambiguous on that.

This US judgement unfortunately wasn't registered in Nigeria and even if so, the fact that BAT got the US embassy to say he wasn't under any investigation was a smart move ahead of time. He claimed he helped them transfer funds home to Nigeria and didn't know the origin of those funds. Unfortunately, he was able to hide under the law.

I just feel bad LP weren't able to prove this case very well.

If an ex convict served out his conviction, he has no more business being listed as under investigation.
How did you expect the US embassy in Nigeria to write that Tinubu is under investigation in the US?

Advocates for Tinubu are clutching on straws.

Why did Nigeria make new Electoral Act in 2022 if a lawyer should quote the old Electoral Acts of the 1980s in 2023?
Why did Nigeria make a new Constitution if the old Constitution must be cited in Law today?
It's truly hard to defend the election heist of February 25 2023.

Olanipekun knows that the Chief Justice of Nigeria Airowola has already ruled on Forefeiture as punishment for crime, so he resorted to beating about the bush finding solace in outdated Constitution and outdated rulings of ancient Supreme Courts.

Am glad someone is finally connecting the dots.

Oh yes. It's common sense that continued detention of Nnamdi Kalu is the avenue for Nigeria's government to continue with unrest in the SE and government sponsoring the sit at home in the SE.

Gunmen. This is different from the one in the SE.

Two facts: it's very easy for Nigeria's government to stop Simon Ekpa..
2 Ekpa hides on request for release of Mazi Nnamdi Kalu to receive money from sponsors to order his sit at home; releasing Kalu will deprive Ekpa any justification to order sit at home in Igbo land.
Common sense.
Unless Nigeria's government is not ready to come clean from sponsoring miscreants to enforce sit at home in Igbo land.

Abeg, let there be no gunmen in Ogun and Lagos.
We the Igbos have turned these two areas as new Igbo homeland and will not stop until Nigeria's government stops sponsoring Simon Ekpa and other unknown gunmen to destabilise the Igboland with sit at home.

Nigeria has tens of thousands of armed forces personnel but pretends that a few ragtag boys disturbing the peace in the SE are unstoppable.

After all, every country has different reasons why their police engage with protesters the way their police do.
For example, Nigeria's police and Nigeria's other armed forces are trained to keep Nigeria one for the benefit of the colonial masters and Arewa region of
Nigeria that profit from Nigeria, therefore, scuttle any protests that may encumber the continuation of the most dysfunctional country on earth, Nigeria 🇳🇬.

Imagine the type of most impoverished witness who will take money and come to court to bear false witness for INEC; false witness on why the Electoral Act of 2022 was sabotaged after billions of Naira was spent on making the Electoral Act and providing mechanisms for electronic transmission of vote results; bear false witness to how Tinubu who could not win Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, but shared votes with Atiku and Kwankwaso in the core northern Nigeria, managed to win the presidential election.

Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa are not actually the reason why Igbos want to want secede from Nigeria. Before these two guys came up I hope you recall we used to have MOSSOB since many years ago. I would say there are two reasons why Igbos want to secede whether Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa are there or not. The first reason is that Igbos feel Nigeria is a failed state and Biafra is the solution. The second reason is due to the civil war loss. They desperately want to turn that loss to victory and feel good.

Alex Ekwueme was to succeed then President Shehu Shagari but northerners led by Buhari truncated Shagari/Ekwueme govt.

Ekwueme formed PDP with his G33 and eased out military in government in 1999; then Ekwueme had nobody to beat for the 1999 PDP primaries. But from Prison, rtd northerner military dictators brought out Okusegun Obasanjo from prison, sponsored Obasanjo who had only N10,000 then, for PDP primaries; mobilized all of Nigeria to support Obasanjo.
In 2007, Peter Odili of Rivers State had no other person to beat to clinch the presidential ticket of PDP after all the campaign. A few days to end the campaign, EFCC led by Ribadu trumped up corruption charges against Odili. Yar'adua who never thought of contesting presidential election was brought from Katsina to PDP win the 2007 presidential election.
In 2023, we all have seen unexpected Peter Obi emerged. INEC was taken by surprise. At the last minute after voters had cast their votes and INEC saw that Peter Obi was leading by a wide margin, INEC disabled the system for electronic transmission of vote results; subverted the Electoral Act; subverted the vow it took about not going use any other method except electronic transmission of vote results.
How many times does Nigeria need to show the east this nonsense of Nigeria is not for all?

About sit at home in Owerri is all what one read here in a story with Imo state as title.
Owerri as the only place which counts in Imo state is the picture of what Imo state became under Hope Uzodinma as governor.
For about 3 years+, hoodlums seconded by Uzodinma have imposed sit at home on Orlu on Mondays; at times on other days. Uzodinma pretends he doesn't know the negative impact of the sit at home on Orlu and its residents; because he doesn't count Orlu as part of Imo state, except bringing soldiers who occupy the town since he became governor of Imo state.

Simon Ekpa is not capable of forcing sit at home in the SE if politicians don't want that.

Soludo is an active governor; that's why the fight against sit at home in Anambra state is becoming successful.

It's not like in Imo state where the leadership is in collaboration with the hoodlums who force sit at home on people in Orlu only.

I thought people are of the opinion, it doesn't affect the politicians but the ordinary people.
And since when have politicians started caring about the welfare of the masses.?

At the end of the day, the goal of this show of force is still for personal gains grin

Why would you make people sit at home? Where is your sense?

Sit at home hardly takes place in your Owerri hometown. Why would it take place in other people's town?

Nnewi now have water tight security architecture

In Imo state, except in Orlu, sit at home does not operate any other place. Because the governor wants the town to die gradually. After sparking off activities of unknown gunmen in the town, he permanently stationed soldiers in the town. The soldiers should have been enough to stop any fool trying to enforce sit at home in Orlu. But it's been 3 years of sit at home imposed on the town by the governor; at times, extended throughout the week days, and banks in the town forced to remain closed.
Uzodinma has been on war against the town because of his old popitical foes from the town.

Does it mean Nigeria army cannot simply win a war against Fulani herdsman terrorist in Nigeria?

The usual trend: shortly before and during the general elections; the Bandits and their Boko Haram fathers would go inert.
Once APC wins; they start operations again.
Boko Haram, Bandits and Fulani herdsmen are singing from the same book with objective of striking fear in Nigerians and soften them to quickly surrender to imminent Talibanization of Nigeria.
APC under Buhari set up a possible 24 years Muslim presidency for Nigeria.
