I have really observed this trend, especially with people that graduated with a 2.2 grades and below, they would smartly omit their grades when preparing their CVs. For instance a 2.2 graduate is most likely to write "second class (honors)" instead of "second class honors (lower division)" on his CV. My question is why is this so? Since if eventually u are being called for interview u would definitely be asked. I believe recruiters would most likely sideline ur application because of this omission. What do u think?

I dont think you are right on ur observation cause I have 2.2 of 3.48 But I indicate (lower division) on my CV. I also know friends who do same
