Hello house,

Did medicals at Qlife with my family. Just got an email from CIC today requesting for additional medical tests for my spouse. I know it's because he once had tuberculosis and the scar showed in his X-ray.

Has anyone been in this situation before please? Has anyone with an history of tuberculosis gone for additional tests before please? What tests are they?

In filling the ITA forms, the place where they asked if one has had any serious disease or mental illness, does not have to declare tuberculosis.

The tuberculosis was in 1999 and was successfully treated

if u have read from part 1-5, we have countless testimonies about people who aced writing with Liz materials. I still don't think it is right condemning one for another. Life itself is beautiful because we can choose from a variety of options.
Just as we have IOM & QLife for Medicals, we have WES, IQAS & ICES for ECA, likewise Insp Moshood or Gbenga for PCC. All of them satisfy our needs if we approach them u know?
Liz video is not overrated o, it's CONFIRMED! How I wish many others who have benefitted from this selfless woman could come to her defence now b4 some fortunate IELTS adv. members abuse Liz finish.......

I've been shouting ieltsadvantage here since I aced my Ielts at first attempt.

Before I stumbled on his site, I had used Liz and Jay but still got confused. Chris Pell's free materials are in depth, simple and straigh forward. Very easy to follow. I abandoned all others and concentrated on his lessons alone.

Even though BC tried to show itself by giving me a 6.5 in writing, I was too sure of what I wrote and ordered a remark. Of course, it was upgraded!

Are these photos hardcopy or softcopy? You know for passport photographs, the more recent the better.

What I was actually saying is that eAPR needs softcopy passport photos, which you don't necessarily have to worry so much about. It's during PPR that you need to send photos (hardcopy) that fit the specs perfectly. The photos would be dated and within six months at the time.

They have different addresses in Lagos. Assuming you are in Lagos. Google it and you can find the one closest to you. Ikeja, Ikoyi, Ogudu.

Please, I'm pre-ita but I've taken the passport photos. It meets the specs as to size but some little editing work to adjust the lighting was done. Do I need to retake for eAPR please?

PCC cost depends on which state you are requesting from. Lagos seems cheapest. Cost range from 5k to 15k sef. Hope you're aware it's required for grownups over eighteen years only.

For photographs, I'll advise you do Studio 24 at PPR. There's no much restriction on eAPR softcopy photos. Nonetheless, cost should be about 1,500 for one.

I found ieltsadvantage.com most useful for my writing. The guy is detailed and organised. For the rest, I used lots of Ielts Liz and Jay on YouTube.

Then practice, practice, practice!

I recently had a slot given to me. What you need to do is for the owner of the slot to send a mail to customercare@qlifefamilyclinic.com with his details and yours. Include the date of his appointment too and request that the date be transferred to you.

Guys, my joy is overfull. Finally, I'm free from the shackles of IELTS! My first attempt came as L7,R7,W6.5, S7. I was so sad, but I braced up and retook the test. My current result is: L8, R7.5, W7, S7.5. CRS score is 450!!

Applying for remark is a gamble. If you're sure of what you did, go ahead. If not, you can still apply for a remark and write the next Ielts as well.
