Rugaria:
Bayelsa was created for the ijaws. There are other minority groups there but no one drags the governorship with the ijaws.
Rivers state has different ethnic groups and one group can not try to impose her will on others..
Obviously, this is one governorship that you can't get by bombing Oil pipelines.

Bayelsa has got to be one of the most unfortunate States in Nigeria.
A very small state with the least population and still get huge allocations monthly with nothing to show for it.
I can remember the last time I’ve read about a project commission from the state.
To make matter worse, a former President is from this same state
They’ve got a Governor
3 senators
MHR

MHA
Council chairmen and lots more.
And someone from this state will join others to protest in lagos against bad governance.

We are presently the Deputy Governors of Rivers and Delta States and the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
We produce over 90 percent of all Nigeria's crude oil but were unjustly balkanized into more than six Nigerian States of which are Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States when all Ijaw areas share perfect boundaries with each other.
If they dont do us well we go for Ijaw Republic or nothing else.
97 percent of Nigeria's Offshore oil go with Ijaw Republic because IJaw Republic areas are the one with the Ocean borders.

Don't know whether you're actually Ijaw or not, but i'm under no illusions as to capacity of some Ijaw to bear ill-intent towards a Biafra or Alaigbo Republic! Just a few weeks after Buhari made that ill-adviced statement of 'dot republic', he was visited by a team of Ijaw leaders led by Diette-Spiff! I'm sure the major topic of discussion during their meeting was how to try and 'landlock' a potential Biafra or Alaigbo Republic....hence we now see you coming out with all these your useless maps that hogs almost the entire coastline of Nigeria!

If or when Biafra is actualised and consists of just Alaigbo, there will be access to the sea via a seaport at Obuaku which has a direct channel that passes by Opobo and burts out into the Atalantic Ocean. Obuaku is just as near (if not nearer to the Atlantic) as Port Harcourt seaport is! Some pathetic Igbo haters are aware of this and this is why they're getting the Ijaw to try and claim the entire coastline of Africa from Cape to Cairo, so the false prophesy of 'dot nation', as propounded by Buhari, can be realised! Don't know where you're getting your information from....probably from all the bigoted gits on this forum who get an instant boner at the thought of a 'landlocked' Biafra they can frustrate economically!

Isn't it a bit presumptious of you to presume Nigeria will remain intact as is when or if an entire region/ethnicity manages to escape?

Pray tell, when did the 'coastal regions' say no to Biafra (not that i want them in it to begin with)? Do you know Ndigbo are part of those coastal regions of which you speak? The only way a Igboland Republic can be landlocked is if Akwa-Cross and the Ijaw form a republic together.....also if the Ikwerre are part of a Ijaw Republic that includes Akwa-Cross in it. Do you really see any of these scenarios happening if Ndigbo manage to leave 'one Nigeria'? Of course you don't....neither does the ruling hegemony, and this is why they're doing everything in their power (both fair and foul) to see Biafra/Alaigbo don't materialise!

No Single Ethnic Group can and will Carry Nigeria

by Farouk Martins, Omo Aresa --- A tree can not make a forest. Nigeria has to be carried by each and every Ethnic group in our Country for the sake of Africa, for the sake of blacks in this world. I pride myself as a dedicated Nigerian but sometimes I find it easier to be an African.
I must confess that I was ticked off by the recent headline that Yoruba have betrayed the Igbo AGAIN. The fact is Yoruba have never betrayed any Ethnic group, have never sought territorial advantage or dominance on others’ soil and have never craved the ambition to rule others in their domain. Indeed the Yoruba, who coalesced from many African Ethnic groups by long tradition of accommodation and tolerance, has found itself in a position of fighting to retain its own in Nigeria.

The statement Awolowo made still stands today. Yoruba can not and will not carry Nigeria alone. If the Hausa or the Fulani or the Kanuri decides to leave Nigeria today, Nigeria has lost its meaning. If the Ijaw or Ibibio or the Idoma or Urhobo decides to leave Nigeria today, Nigeria has no relevance to the world. It has to be seen as the beginning of the end. As secondary school children we cried when we were told we would need passport to cross to Biafra. How could our brothers and sisters suddenly become foreigners to us? I watch with dreaded sympathy how families are separated by wars of demarcation all over the world. Right here in the Delta and North-East between Nigeria and Cameron, families cry and protest about separation
