Travel / Re: Is This The Beginining Of The End For Uk Illegal Immigrants? by dividend06(m): 4:56pm On May 20, 2006
Nigerians are not on the top of the list when it comes to immigration problems, the story might seem sad, but at least they were working and not making a bomb or reaping of the home office with some 419 scheme, Labour will still be blamed, but they also know the so called immigrants fill various gaps in the economy.

Lets not waste time on this non issue, come id card , come eye scan, finger print etc its all due to the bomb scare
not not some people trying to make a living ,
Politics / Re: Which Way Nigeria? by dividend06(m): 12:15am On May 17, 2006
which school are u going to in the UK , how many so called UK schools make the top 50 in the world, the same UK education is deteriorating and exploiting international students, but besides the point , why must schools rely on a govt that didn't work donkey years ago and then wait for another politician to promise funds that cant be accounted , u can almost see the circle

anyway u probably paid a miserable fee to go to university (was it up to £400) and then pay £12k for an average sch in UK for jut one year and u expect both to be d same , even the so called citizens orBritish can't afford to go to school and those who do end up with debts over £25K by the time they graduate, which is causing a problem for the goverment itself , But in nyjer , schs should be free abi ! affordable ! subsubsidized just like the good ol days and have similar recognition or the same with other schs ,

anyway , i believe some schools are waking up and thinking outside the box , instead of this spoon feeding mentality / blame d govt for everything and not think a way forward / some are moving forward
Investment / Re: Stock Market Investors: How Do You Pick Stocks? by dividend06(m): 8:55pm On May 14, 2006
If its with regards to the Nyjer Stock Mkt and you want to make the short term profit the key for this quick buck strategy is to find out what the house buying or what the big players are buying and then get in with the ride.

Such infomation makes a diffrence cause the market is not as developed and ''information'' is not freely available to all man at the same time unlike developed markets.
Politics / Re: Stepping Into The Mind Of Obasanjo by dividend06(m): 2:19pm On May 07, 2006

NYSC / Re: Corpers' Lodge: Ask Questions & Share Your NYSC Experience by dividend06(m): 10:08am On Mar 01, 2006
Absolue waste of time ,ABSOLUTE , the whole NYSC scheme has lost its purpose. I pity the guys forced to go to unfamiliar areas.

In lagos then , it was over-crowded; every evening spent at MAMI mkt , at Guisness stand to be exact, drinking the whole evening, socialising with the beautifull ones from every part of the country, while some where in town dropping resumes at every door step, Anyway, apart from the friends u make, its really does not help your career, however u need the certificate ----at that time , it was going for N30k in ABJ. imagine undecided
Phones / Re: The Mess Of The Gsm Operators by dividend06(m): 9:45am On Mar 01, 2006
the telecooms sector ahs come a long way, the companies who paid $200 million + took a risk, but a lot of people have seen that indeed NITEL kept the country under bondage, and made mobile phones a LUXURY !

has the next phase of Bidding starts, economics & competition will bring prices down------at least GLO forced the market to offer PER SECOND, they all said it was not possible , trying to Re-coup their investment first ,

The same deregulation will happen in Power -- ObJ has noted that goverment cannot offer any role in BUisness and has failed since independence, once the Govt opens up the sector -- now divided in 3 parts , all man go get option to wh company go supply en light , smiley
