cyril83: Must you force people to have believe in your religion? Enough of this Madness.

This is why i called religion a big fraud.
Whoever believes this needs to see a neurologist.

Religion in the SW is who you believe your creator is and not a way of life. Their way of life is guided by morals.
So this man is a fraud afterall?
It's not as if the signs weren't there but some of us badly needed something to believe in. I grew up hearing about how Nigeria is bad and after schooling abroad and seeing how other people speak of their countries, I wanted to be proud of my country as well.
But well, since these visionless men have decided not to let us make progress then whatever will be will be. If Nigeria is determined not to work, then let it break up. I'd rather be a citizen of a small but advanced state than be part of the 'Giant of Africa' and be sitting here without electricity in this day and age.
It's just a pity because I am so emotionally invested in this entity called Nigeria. I want it to work so badly.
What a mess.
I feel you brother.
Youth is when you think Nigeria can change, it is a question of will. If you survive that time, you learn the country is more complicated than you thought when you were young. SMH!!!

van bonattel: The definition of bravery is standing up and fighting, the Ikemba fought like a man and will forever be remembered as a hero who was given a presidential burial. MKO was beaten to death by IBB whom Al mustafa allowed in though the back door.
Ojukwu holds the record as the first commander to abandon his troop he lured to a senseless war and ran away.

So the Igbos are the ones who are always as.s licking the Northerners in power. Is it also the Igbos that the northerners handed over the economy of this country and they destroyed it. Is it also the Igbos that the northerners in power developed the different types of looting strategy being practiced in Nigeria today with. Tell me when has your vote ever counted in this country apart from 2011. You connive with Northerners and usurp power, a section of u people it doesn't favour comes out and cries fowl, and u expect the Igbo man to join u. Once beaten twice shy.
Its crystal clear tales from your grandfather is the only source of your information.

You have to understand that Obasanjo is not as tribalistic as they would have liked, hence, the criticism. It wasn't borne out of decency or love for humanity but selfishness, spearheaded by their leader Tinubu. Now that Amechi is the greatest critic of Jonathan, how do u rationalize that one. Not Yoruba man indeed.
You got it all wrong! Obasanjo and Tinubu part crossed when OBJ refused to release Lagos allocation. They were in diff political parties in case you were too young to know that. There was never a time in this country the Igbos stuck out their neck to fight for democracy or criticize a sitting president unlike the Yorubas. Igbos are always the friend of the president be it IBB,OBJ,GEJ e.t.c. Spell S.Y.C.O.P.H.A.N.C.Y.

payless: The problem is that; there is a particular ethnic group that hates everybody in Nigeria. They have refused to move on from what happened decades ago. They like to point fingers at everyone else for their problems. They want to secede and want the Presidency of Nigeria at the same time. There are good people (Chime, Rochas, Ken Nnamani and few other) among them but they won't support them. There is also an ethnic group who believe they are born to rule Nigeria. There is a section of them who think Islam is paramount to Nigerian constitution.

Until these two groups come to their senses, the union is doom forever!
Hard truth!!! When Obasanjo was the president his loudest critics were the Yoruba but other tribes will always rationalize what anybody from their tribe does.
PS: I'm not a Yoruba man.

EasternLeopard: Ojukwu is better than Awo who committed suicide in order to avoid imprisonment and death.
Ojukwu bequeathed all he had to a prostitute (Bianca) and a daughter he had in Kaduna for a northerner. His first born,a male child was completely left out of the will not the talk of the maimed soldiers he lead to a senseless biafra war. Conversely, a political party founded after Awolowo controls the SW.
PoliticsRe: APC Now Has 23 Governors - Lai Mohammed by DIVINE78: 8:29pm On Jun 14, 2013
EasternLeopard: Nigeria political parties are power hungry. APC lack ideology. In short their happiness shows that they lack national political financial structure and so are happy to welcome defecting PDP members.
Its bad enough to be a leopard. An eastern leopard is indescribable.

SLIDE waxie: does a bouyant economy means less unemployment? Think!

US, CHINA, UK all av high unemployment rate. So, what is ur point?

U can't really blame d govt for d poor ones. At least, the few that ventures into a little biz can give u a positive testimony. But all the rest who expect economy boom to result to 'staying at home and receiving a credit alert in their acc' will die waiting!
The unemployment rates in US and Uk are in single digits while in Nigeria we have 39% not counting those that are underemployed. E.g Phd holders driving trucks. Wait o, na for which course dem get Phd sef??

mbhs139: I know your problem, it has a name: HATRED!

As a matter of fact, you really wish Fashola is your State Governor, or that your state Governor do half of what he does.
That's a good attempt from you but a phrase fits better. His problem is called "Allergy to Progress". While the gov of his state has abandoned his duty to live large in Abuja with ashewos he hides somewhere in Lagos hacking into neighbor's wifi to disparage Fashola. Eko o ni baje o.

50calibre: I wonder why that man hasn't been assassinated yet. Not only did he loot us dry, he also a nuisance, flaunting his loot and disturbing our ears.
FYI Tinubu is in an opposition party and therefore the govt in power can kick his arse if he has sketeton in his cupboard. He was in dragged CCB but left the place undented. Where are other former governors today? Can you mention the name of your own state? Shame dey catch you?
I'm from Benue but now an adopted S Westerner by the virtue of my long stay in Lagos and I won't say anything to denigrate people that have been so good as friends and host.

So so funny and surprising how the Igbos abandoned the party founded by their psuedo hero, APGA to start romancing with the party in govt. They can't survive a year under an independent political party as found in the SW yet the want to cede from Nigeria. Bunch of gullible herds. Biafra my foot.

Sincere 9gerian: I think these ACN people are taking this politics and competition mentality too far. The states and FG should collaborate to deliver services to the people. The ACN mentality of competition with the FG is petty and needless.

Even if the governor scheduled his media interaction first, the sensible to do when that of the president was announced was to shift his to maybe later in the evening.
You Seem To Be Dumb.

dayokanu: Is this the reason why Igbos would rather support Obasanjo, Yar Adua, Jonathan etc for Presidency but when its an Igbo man like Rochas its over their dead body.

Hmm Interesting
Rochas isn't an ideal example. They roundly rejected Ojukwu in up to 3 presidential elections and at least one senatorial election. They effectively made him a serial loser while alive but praise him at his demise. Igbo kwenu. Spell T.R.A.I.T.O.R.S.

My take on this is that we need to be careful with the Igbos in this country. I remember they were beginning to worship Phillip Emegwalli as the father of internet before it was revealed the man was a Fraud. His face was even in our stamp.

Well... CA didnt win the nobel prize in literature for a reason; his works were pedestrian and only meant for teenagers and other non sophisticated audiences while on the other hand WS's works are popular among erudite scholars. They are both great authors though.
