Like someone sent in a CV apprently with the wrong Telephone no. Then instead of sending in the an edited CV.He sent this:
subject: pls edit for me
Body of the mail:my phone number to hIS NAMe Mentioned's c.v is 0802********* pls edit

My question? who will stress themselve to manually change that?!
The applicant even if shortlist'd will not see the light of interview.

This is a Sad things done by some proud filled or low esteemed Nigerians. Alot of people try to scare and intimidate you. So be prepared . The guy that chucked you out might have felt insulted or intimidated by your actionbut that doesnt make it wrong.

Though i agree that (destiny-wise) that might not have been your job but, what if it was and you messed up by being forward!?

To be safe i believe job- seekers should be attentive to the tune of the interview.

Guess you have to watch the level of your discussion- Is it formal or informal. Even when they are informal it is usl. a trick to nab you! So instead of a handshake may be a warm & short "thank you speech" may nail d job. SO find a balance.

What is the margin between you and the interview- (age & status) . "Age is nothing" is not a good guide for interviews in Nigeria.If the interviewer say their name is Chief/ Mr. / Honurable balabla bla! he is passing a message.
IF he/she says "am Bola" stil refer to them as the usual Ma or Sir.

Watch the non verbal communication! what the are saying as important than what they are not saying. Esp. when you have more than one interviewer they would communicate with each other.

Keep to the question you are asked and ask for permission before you ask a question

Since we know that alot of people out here "ask for respect" !- give it to them!!

Also be prepared, be yourself and don't try to overate your worth!
