Leave evryone out of it and paint your ideal man which obviously doesnt include coping with a known cheat or faith compromising
Sincerely looking at the mirrior tell yourself do any off the fit in exactly
I guess you have a fear that i feel you should check read this www.mindjuicezine.com/arco7mar4.html

Guy1 : I don't know why im beef the guy i don't know. But you see anyone can cheat but if i have cheated before and you accept me back it is only human to assume that you would if i cheat again.

Guy2 :
You see love is not blind but sure gives unrealistic hope.
If you think you can't lose him. what if he decides to face the fact and let you go?
i suggest you sit his butt down when he would listen best and you both trash it out.

DOnt be scared ---there is a ideal man for you i wish i knew where is at so i could help grin

I think you should add one more option to you poll- "none of them"

But i score him 60% in general -considering lagos's- population, fund(*aganist FG) and people's expectation

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nairalanders, Please Learn To Sell Yourselves! by diyobdw(f): 9:53am On Mar 16, 2007
Selling you self
Just imagine you are a product (like milk)in a shopping mall with thousands of other brand waiting to be bought.
But with the advantage of having the ability to express yourself.

Who are you?
Why should i buy you?
What do i stand to gain?
Why not the next guy next to you or the cute looking chic blushing out there?

-I - being the employer not me grin

Do you stand a chance?
Before and after you apply communicate why you are the right man for the job simple!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nairalanders, Please Learn To Sell Yourselves! by diyobdw(f): 6:52pm On Mar 15, 2007
darqly:
@ diyobdw, I reiterate, at least on the job board, keep the english simple and concise. You can't even understand some of the ads some people put up here because of the poor literature. And the rejoinders are even worse, this thing becomes a habit eventually, I should know. There is nothing like your "application english and spelling" being different from your "Nairaland english and spelling". If the admin was in such a rush all the time, I guess we'd have all moved on to better forums instead of one where you spend ages trying to decode what anyone has to say.
Uncle which levels?

I still dont get it! i dey blow as per grama concern but abeg it not such a big deal. The jobseeker & employers on N/L are all funseeker.

Would you say they should go to night clubs in suit because the might meet thier next boos there?

The thing is you must be marketable for anyone to even glance your way these days,if you can't get through just on a simple forum, you'll never be confident enough to play in the big leagues. If i was a an employer of labour and I browsed through some of the posts on this forum, I'd blacklist some folk right away!! We say we're graduates, then let it show in all that you exhibit; We're supposed to be cultured, people. I remember a while on this same nairaland, someone raised an issue on the use of pidgin english in our posts, and he was slammed instantly from all quarters. I've never been a fan of "broken english" and some say it sounds awful on my tongue, which is just as well, because I didn't go to school to come out sounding like "an average joe blogg". I mean, how many of us can ask our bosses at the office "How far Naw?" or "wetin dey?"
Abeg no Employer *in their right frame of mind* would visit nairaland to hunt for applicants only to judge them by their post.If they did then they must be re-hired! angry
Jobseeker should know that spelling or grammatical on application letter or CV is not acceptable

Nairaland is not a formal forum though oga Seun try to make us speak correct english It is not a must.
Even the correct Ajebo would flow in pidgin for effizy sake
this is my opinion.
cheesy

Incase you were wondering am no jobseeker! wink
