i guess ur relationship after a breakup wat u both feel. If u av moved on (sincerely & werent d bad partner) they is no reason to run from ur ex, Iav got my exs on fb, We r still friends, still advice each other on issues, gist as usl, comment on thier pix and all. But some caution comes in when thier partner does not free secure by d idea.

I was looking for some where to socialize with muslim sisters without feeling like a round peg in a squared holes.  and Thank Allah Subuanah Watallah, I met some sisters recently who open my eyes,  now i found one place to  learn ,make friends with like minds, and grow my imaan at the same time!

So i tot i should share it here too!

Sister in usul ul fiqh there is what we call qiyas which is analogy. Several contemproray isssues come up that was not there during the time of the Prophet but scholars derive it from the quran , sunna and other methods I cannot go into here. Nail polish is not haram but common sense tells us water will not touch the part of the nail covered. I am from a chemical background, water cannot pierce through a solidified polish on the hand. I do not understand the citations you need but do you require citation that during wudhu water has to touch every part of the body water is meant to touch? If that is what you require then in a hadit the prophet PBUH saw a man made wudhu and some part sof his feet were dry and the prophet asked him to remake his wudhu and save that part of his body from the hell fire. Analaogy will explain to use that water needs to touch the nail and polish will prevent that.

The only exceptions are the wiping the socks and some cases turban.

I like to throw this argument open you peep.

In the bid to encourage a colleague who is about to set up her business, to start small . I encourage her to share an office with a long time pal of hers.

She says it is not a good idea because; this guy as asked her out severally which she declined. He still indirect refer to his passes to her in their conversation(like he is still interested). More over the guy's wife some how found out about her and the husbands passes to her. (The wife once sent her a holiday greeting via sms!<i guess to let her know she is aware of whats on ground>

I think since she is not interested in having anything intimate with him and he has offered his office to her already for part time basis. She can s well ask to share the office with him as per full time basis. the wife should not be her problem but his <after all entrepreneurship is about focusing on the gold >.
