earthgreeners: Unfortunately, there are guaranteed steps. Just pay attention to details and do the right thing. It's a matter of ''do your best and leave the rest''. Submit the right documents and convince the VO beyond doubts. Picture yourself as the VO and as the following questions
1) Does this sponsor have enough fund and source of income to cater for the applicant's tuition and living expenses, and to fend for himself and his other dependents?
2) How is this sponsor related to the applicant that would make him sponsor his education abroad?
3) Is the applicant going to pursue a genuine course (Bonafide student)
4) what ties does this applicant have that could lead to his return to Nigeria? Family, Job, Properties......although the VO knows most student dont return after studies (Canada gat enough routes for students to remain in Canada)

The VOs are human and are bound to errors in judgement. So, I would advise you focus more on the success stories in order not to be discouraged. The case of those that were denied should only give you an idea of ''what not to do''

Yes, You can be denied based on certain health issues especially those that cannot be cured within a short period...
Thanks a lot for the info and the surpport on thought shift from negative to positive that was really helpful
And every point stated has been noted.
Godless you

Adexhat: hi friend, i don't think u need to attach any payment doc. What i will advise is dat u send an inquiry email to d admissions to ascertain ur payment. Also ask ur bank if any money was withdrawn and lastly check if u didnt make any mistake while filling ur card details. Cheers.
Thanks a lot at list for letting me know am not far from the right track. Well I had just gone through the form in search of any mistake and non was recorded , I had equally sent a mail earlier but no reply yet and I had made inquries from my bank and for now no deductions was made. So I finnally resorted to couriering my documents including my master card details of an acc that has just about the requsted application fee just so they would not be any delay in processing my documents. Hope its something? Godbless u for the info.

This tread has been a source of motivation for me to pursue a graduate certificate in Canada, well I have started the procedure in algonquin college and I was to be charged $95CAD for application fee after filling an online form which I filled in my master card details yet to this very moment the cash has not been deducted, I only got a mail to courier my credentials over, I was to send the documents over today until a friend advised me to attach a proof of the application fee payment together with my documents to the school . Am confused I don't know if I should just send my documents over as requested by the school or make sure I attach some sort payment proof before sending the documents over plus I have even requested the school bank details so perharps I can do a direct bank to bank transaction. Please any one with any suggestion on how I should follow the matter should please info me asap. Thank you.
