I believe what everyone is subtly requesting is that you do not overstay the date stamped on your passport and your I-94

You can check your status here https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/compliance-search
Awwwww thanks guys, i promise that i am all about a positive reinforcement for Nigerian, i dislike the bad reputation plus i like to do things properly thats why i am on here asking and thanks for the link too .

Huh...you won't be the first or the last to make such move.

However, this approach is one of the reasons why getting US visas for genuine applicants is getting hard.
I am confused how i am not being genuine ? I thought that was what i was doing by asking these questions.

Everthing i do is within a legal confindment.

Nigerians are denied visas for proir reputation of oversaying their visas or engaging in illegal activities.

I visited for a friends convocation, after which i returened home.

I came back to explore the country. I have currently visited 6 states and counting more.

This is my hard earned money, pls if i am doing something wrong, nicely let me know and i will make amends .

You left for the US stayed in Nigeria for a month now you back? Don't you have a job or business that needs your attention?

It costs money to live a decent life in the States and it will be even harder for an illegal foreign national.

Don't do it unless you ready to set your life back by at least 3-5 years.

Save all these flight money you using to fly around let it gain interest in the bank for a minute
Thank you very much for the insight but i really don't have much going on in Nigeria right now.

I absolutely understand the possible years of setback.

Applied for a few scholarship opportunities here in the US though i hav'nt gotten any reply yet but the set back is something i might be willing to sacrifice for a better future (if US is a better future smiley )

Hav'nt been out here long enough to understand, hav'nt networked alot either.

I have been considering just heading back to Naija, although i don't have much going on in Naija, i also considered the setback i figured it might worth it if there was a going to be a worthy acomplishment at the end, so i applied for a few masters scholarship programs, yet to get any feedback though.

. . . before I recommend anything, what did you tell the consular officer at your visa interview?
Hi Afonja thanks for responding, I had told the visa officer that I was visiting for my friends convocation, then after the convocation I left for a month and back at the port of entry I was asked Again why I was visiting this time I said for tourism, that I would be. Traveling through the states..

Hello good people of this forum 1st of I would want to apologise for my absence on the forum as waiting for CIC final decesion can make one numb particularly someone like me, knowing my application developed k leg during processing but the good news is on friday d 16th CIC hornerd God and my visa was handed to me that day I cried softly , I think it was tears of joy perhaps because 2weeks prior to that day I received my package from vfs init my application was closed and I was refused but in the package my intl pasport, full board+ skl fees receipt & letter from my sponsors lawyer standing as source of income as she dint ave a credible proof for source of income but she had enuf fund,all this was not in my package recevied from vfs. Let me take us back during call 4 medicals I was askd to provide these documents that was not in my package recevied from vfs moreso I was given 30days to provide them,If siga can rember I mailed him on his opinion as regards what is my best option as regard sponsors source of income since my sponsor lacked d required docs specified by CIC he sugestted a letter from a laywer would do. Tuale!! Oga Siga ur idea paid off. Now 30day has elapsed and I had not provided the docs infact it was until anoda 30days that I was able to provide the docs my application was closed on the 30th of july and the suporting docs got to CIC on the 1staug am sure dat was why d supporting docs and intl passprt was not in my closed appltn....now back to we're we we're after I recived d closed apllictn 4rm VFS as suggested by a vfs staffs and mr Wammi whom I met at VfS office d day his visa was approved after his 2nd trial encouraged me to hit CIC when I got there filled d form was askd 2 come in well to cut long stry short that day they explaind futhr more why my app was closed and that I should reaplly then gave me my pasrt and odr docs then almost instantly she got a call and she calld me bk in and collectd my docs bak and told me in 2wks dey would get bk 2 me which dey did on fri with d good news of stamped visa ..Thank God 4 me u guys ,thank u all 4 ur support, we are family in here. hayek: I dont have any first-hand information about the duration it takes to respond to application. But judging from the response rates here regarding getting medical letter, majority of people get theirs within the range of two months after submission. A handful (very very few) get their medical call up before two month and very few also get medical call up after 2 months. Anyone who want to double check this should kindly take a look at the previous posts.
Alright.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by djay1: 5:04pm On May 30, 2013
hayek: My post is not about the age of my application. I know that applicant can only expect response after two months of submission through paper application. But I just want to know how fast or slow is the online application and not necessarily being anxious about my application which would be one month old this weekend. Anyone with experience in the online thing should kindly share it.
Hayke for now I haven't noticed anyone post about submission online may be if you hang on a bit you just might find someone in ur shoes well I did submit through paper application and on d 2nd of June would make my applctn 2month since I submmittd & though I avnt heard 4rm them but if what you say is correct that means after 2nd of june we all that submittd on d 2nd of april should be expecting a reply 4rm...perhaps d online and paper submiSsion takes approximately dsame time, just maybe.

TravelRe: A Comprehensive List Of The Documents Required For Visas by djay1: 9:31pm On Mar 24, 2013
Vicjustice: It is boring to hear people asking "what documents" that are required for this or for that visa, and i see that no matter how many individuals that are answered, there will continue to be many others who will ask the same question over and over and over again. It doesn't make much of a sense to ask this same question or to keep on answering it to everyone who asked it, so, i have decided to create this narrative list to answer the question conclusively.
Here are the documents that are required of visa applicants of every category.
This article is subject to modification and updates:

* Invitation letter or accommodation details from the country you intend to visit;
*(If on invitation by an individual,) a copy of the bio-data page of the passport of the person inviting you.
* Your national passport or travel document with at least 6 months to expiration;
* (If you are an alien resident in the country that you are applying from,) evidence of permission to remain in the country: ie, a residence permit or an appropriate long-term visa;
* Passport sized colour photographs, not more than 6 months old;
* (If employed,) a letter from your employer granting leave of absence from your job for a specified period. The letter should also say how long you have been employed by that employer, in what job(s) and should indicate when you are expected back at work;
* (If self-employed,) evidence of your business activities and financial standing;
* (If self employed or if applicable to you as an employee,) your tax clearance certificate to show your tax compliance level and also your income;
* (If a student,) a letter from your school stating what course you are on, its start and finish dates and the dates of the holiday period during which you intend to travel abroad;
Note: if you are not working you should include financial documents of the person who is supporting you; if someone else is paying for your trip, You would be expected to explain why you are being sponsored and to demonstrate how your sponsor will benefit from your trip.
* (If applicable,) evidence of any property you own in your home country (if applicable)
Note: the property is expected to represent anything that could be considered a tie; such property may not be an isolated land or building that are not deemed to be taking more of your responsibilities: it is different if you own (let's say) business property that requires your obligatory management;
* Details of any firm travel plans you have made, ie itinerary:
Warning! Do not book a flight because, you will forfeit your money if your visa is refused. Itinerary does not only mean flight ticket, it means travel plans which are, the preparations that you have put in place: such could be site seeing or tour guide arrangements;
* Bank statements showing up to six months transaction details, must show sources of income:
Warning! Avoid Money Lodgement, you will be refused without question.
* (If applicable,) evidence of any income from other sources e.g. friends, family, savings, property etc
* (If applicable and/or if the purpose of the trip has got something to do with family,) Evidence of family relationship and marital status ie Birth Certificate and/or Marriage or Civil Partnership Certificate, divorce certificate, death certificate (of spouse)
*(If applying to join a spouse,) Evidence of relationship and communications or correspondences with your spouse: ie telephone details; emails; posts or/and photos of both of you together.
* (If applying to join a spouse or family,) Birth certificate or Age Declaration document
* It is very important to be able to show Ties or Obligations to return to.
Note: Although, family or social ties and responsibilities are recommended, but logically, family ties aren't considered as strong as other ties because, there are vast cases of seekers involving in immigration fights to bring their family to join them, but yet, the magnitude of the family may be considered
* (If an ex-convict) The official record of any conviction(s), detailing the crime(s) you were convicted of and the sentence(s) you received
* The appropriate fee and 1 million dollars for Vicjustice
Note: You must provide original documents. Failure to submit original documents may mean your application is delayed or refused.
HARD DOCUMENTS are documents that carry Security Authentications; or Stamps; or Seals; or Signatures; or Apostiles, etc: (For example; a Marriage Certificate), such documents must be submitted in their original states. Any other document that does not carry any of the mentioned authentication is allowed to be submitted in photocopy state: Your hard documents will be returned back to you in due time.

Your questions or contributions or concerns are welcome here.
Hello vic pls I have a personal and urgent issue that I would need your insight I would apprt it if I can communicate to you directly.
