The act itself is not rape but the op took advantage of her vulnerable state. At that moment she wasn't thinking properly and needed comfort. I know there were times she thought about doing stuffs to get back at her boyfriend but at that circumstance, all logical reasoning will be completely diminished. So in my own opinion it is not gentlemanly for the op to take advantage of her despondent state of mind. It shows you cant be trusted and lack integrity. For the girl to be so pissed at you now means she didn't like the fact that you did what you did.
