In a deeply emotional moment, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, popularly known as "the Dancing Governor," broke down in tears during an event marking his second anniversary in office. The ceremony, held yesterday, Wednesday, in Osogbo, drew a large crowd of participants who witnessed the governor's raw display of vulnerability.

Governor Adeleke, renowned for his passionate leadership style, appeared visibly overwhelmed as he reflected on the progress and challenges his administration has faced over the past two years. During his speech, the governor broke into tears and, in a dramatic turn, rolled on the floor while singing emotionally, leaving many in the audience in awe.

His heartfelt display highlighted the depth of his commitment to Osun State and its people. As he recounted the achievements of his administration and the obstacles overcome, the governor's emotions underscored the personal investment he has in his leadership role.

The powerful moment added a deeply human touch to the event, further cementing Governor Adeleke's connection with the people of Osun State. Many attendees described the incident as a testament to his genuine care and dedication to the well-being of his people.

I was expecting Osun State to have attracted several world class developments by now. I expected Osun to have started metro project or show us a model plan. But as usual, nothing to show, they are all the same. I thought he was coming to use his money, his brother's and Davido's influence to change the face of Osun. By now, Osun should be in the news with amazing master plan and projects.

You employ illegal migrants to work on your farm thereby exploiting them, and you want to manipulate the government against doing what is right by threatening high cost of farm produce.........these people are the same all over, weaponizing food against the government and the people. You will always find people to work if you are willing to pay good money - time to part little of your excessive gains.

essentialone:
How can a guy be sure if a girl loves him, when she suddenly says 'No sex' in the relationship?
What else will the guy gain from dating her?
Since relationship is mutual, and the girl is closing her part, what will the guy be gaining from her?

The truth is, most Nigeria ladies nowadays offer nothing in a relationship, absolutely nothing.
They can't keep a conversation going with a level of IQ.
They can contribute to your knowledge.
Most of them can't even cook, clean or wash (even with a washing machine) - they will make you spend on ordering food or go on expensive dates.
Most of them can't pray.
They literally offer nothing, the fact is, the few that will say they offer emotional support, ask their boyfriends to be honest, they are just managing them, there isn't any much of a support apart from their presence in the relationship. They can even bill you, or remember what they need to buy even while you are emotionally down.
To the singles out there, if you find a good one, keep her so close and dearly, they aren't much nowadays.

What the ate not telling you is that EKSU has just increased their school fees where sme students are to pat as high as N800,000 per session.

Those saying it's cheap to study in Nigeria and doctors should stay in Nigeria, Gid will punish you.

See how you sound? That's still $500 compared to over $25k in abroad, the question you should ask yourself is, in abroad, how many of their children are able to pay those fees without loan from government?
If the truly have the number cos people assume they earn well, if truly that's the case, they should be able to pay for these basic things outrightly and no need for loans, mortgages, finance or credit -
While it is good to have credit, loan etc facilities to assist you meet your goals, it remains a debt on your neck for a good time of your life, that's why inability to pay back by these people pushes them into drugs, depression etc.
I decided 2 years ago, to put my credit card away, i am not on any loan as i speak, or any form of mortgage, but have been able to manage my fundings within this period effectively.
While in Nigeria, they say people are poor, but most of those poor build their homes from scratch with their hard-earned money, buy rickety cars with their hard-earned money. Pay school fees with their hard-earned money.
$500 to $25k that's ration 1: 50,000, you wouldn't even spend 30% of the 25k to finish your studies in Nigeria.

Obi is best at giving a heads-up before interview, he would have prepared, his under-Gs would have helped him perfect his responses. The man is a dunce, you will know from his rhetorics whenever he is asked questions, he keeps repeating and quoting same speech even when they are unrelatable. As per heads-up, i doubt, given the Arise interview with Rufai where he had to even look at the prepared responses and yet were still making mistakes.
I still stand by my words, he is being sponsored by some underground network, people who want to package him to us to get to power, they will soon cease power as soon as he becomes president, cos he is too soft, and you can tell he will be a weakling of a president.

To even think that Delta State earns the most from Fed Rev Allocation every month, yet with their 4.1 population. Bayelsa, Edo, Ondo, are just backward even with their 15% oil derivatives they get in addition to their monthly allocation. It's just so sad, and they come to the media to make the most noise, considering their small population, they should have the best roads, infrastructure and wealth in the country. But those funds are shared by very few of their cabals, leaving their people to come and cry on Lagos development......most of their youths are relocating to Lagos after their education for better life.

It is expected, the only economy in the West that have grown in the last 20 years has been that of US at the behest of other Western countries.
They have all been fluctuating around same trajectory. Harris recently mentioned that, against the backdrop of support other nations or association, what comes first for US is their foreign agenda to dominate others, including EU.

They have kept especially Germany at armlength, dictating their economy, even stationed their military base in Germany. Canada relies on US for most of their supplies and needs.

Have you ever seen Nigeria police defending someone. They are thousands of innocent people languishing in prisons across the country courtesy of the police. Even if she truly died in an accident that guy would have to bribe them before the release him.

And for me, I know she didn't die in any accident. She died in the guy's house. The guy has paid his way out of trouble.

Nigerian singer and former presidential candidate, Speed Darlington, has been released on bail after his arrest following a petition filed by fellow musician Burna Boy, who accused him of cyberbullying.

Darlington, also known for his controversial content, was detained by the police's Intelligence Response Team in Abuja. His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, facilitated stating there was little in the petition to justify the arrest. The case gained attention after Darlington's mother publicly pleaded for his release, accusing Burna Boy and his team of involvement in her son's detention.

If Eedris is in their league, he could have arrested Burna n the past - If the scenario is flipped, can Apki order police to arrest Burna and they will oblige arresting him with cuffs? This is Nigeria where the rich are highly respected and favoured.

I am not Apki fan nor in support of what he did, just thinking out of the box. These celebrities do worse and go scot-free.

Biznesworld:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLuGaGC1eow

Billionaire Bill Gates' recent hot dog purchase from a street vendor has made headlines, not just for his humility, but also for highlighting societal differences.

In the West, individuals from all walks of life can move freely and engage with others without fear.

In stark contrast, Nigeria grapples with insecurity and social divisions. Prominent figures, including politicians, require heavy security, restricting their interaction with ordinary citizens.

Nigeria's insecurity, fueled by kidnapping, banditry, and terrorism, has created a culture of fear. Politicians, often seen as disconnected from the people, prioritize personal safety over public engagement.

Emulating Gates' humility seems unlikely for many Nigerian politicians, who: Prioritize personal interests over public needs.

Once there's security of lives and property in Nigeria. Everything will go smoothly.
Only then can Nigeria move closer to a society where everyone, regardless of status, can walk freely and enjoy simple pleasures like a hot dog from a street vendor here in Nigeria.

Imagine, from the same one who said in January 2023 that he was going to remove subsidy on his first day in office. Policy doesn't work like that, like write and erase, trial by error. Inconsistency is what such breeds, no clarity of purpose, except where the wind directs.

The truth is, none of these people have a clear-cut idea of how to go about it, sticking to Western Economic books is not a long-term solution to our problems. We need an African solution. Career / Re: When We Say A Toilet Cleaner Abroad Is Better Than Bank Manager In Nigeria by djseanjohn77: 3:27pm On Sep 03
Notfogotten:
When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.

Example include:

A. A toilet cleaner will never queue for fuel. - That's if you can afford a car
B. A toilet cleaner is less likely to be kidnapped in those countries - How many bank managers have they kidnapped in your village?
C. A toilet cleaner has 24/7 electricity. - Well, even bankers that are not managers can afford to install inverters - That's even if you can pay bills
D. A toilet cleaner has access to excellent Medicare. - What medicare? that you have to be booked for several weeks apointment just to get yourself checked? - A \bank manager can walk into any standard hospital plus he has health insurance for his families
E. A toilet cleaner is less likely exposed to armed robbers - Well, there are robbers everywhere - you can get robbed anytime. Moses ldn stopped by in a club in Dallas last week, over 50 cars parked in parking lot got smashed and robbed.
F. A toilet cleaner eats better food and fruits than your bank manager. - What better food, foods that are high on preservatives and additives
G A toilet cleaner has access to good amenities - That's relative too, a bank manager will probably be living in a duplex and you in a single BQ apartment. A bank manager can afford any life he wants - For you to be able to get good life, you'd probably work double shift or double jobs.
H. A toilet cleaner may have his children schooling for free in primary and high school - A bank manager can afford better schools in Nigeria as well. We have had kids in Nigeria compete globally and come out top - meanwhile, it is hard to find kids from those places you mentioned US, Uk, Australia coming top in the global competition.
I. A toilet cleaner has a longer live expectancy than your bank manager in Nigeria.
