Religion / Re: No Prophet Married Only One Wife In The Bible - Olatosho Oshoffa by djseanjohn77: 8:57am On Apr 30 |
God1000: Is it the same New Testament that the whites chose to select the books that suit their ideology? In Isaiah 4: 1, the prophet prophesied into the future of a time when 7 women will cleave unto 1 man. The time is gradually before us, and we are distracted by the incessant ideology of monogamist. The same people that will take Paul word for it to support women view would openly condemn his word where he said women should cover their heads and dress moderately. That's selective amnesia. In 2 Sam, God himself told David, if he had wanted more, all he needed was ask, and he shall receive. Christianity came from Judaism (old testament), It was in 1100 AD that a Jewish Rabbi introduced monogamy to Judaism, but till date, they still practiced it. This happened after they returned from captivity in Babylon, the Rabbi agreed that they inculcate the practice of their captor which tend to protect women more, as men were divorcing the women of Jew without issuing them a divorce letter which utomatically means they could not remarry. Monogamy was introduced to Christianity in the first century AD by the Roman Empire. The books that were selected to be part of the bible. The Bible was assembled during the famous Council of Nicea in 325 C.E., when Emperor Constantine and church authorities purportedly banned problematic books that didn't conform to their secret agenda. In the form of theological treatises, letters and church histories that have survived for millennia — points to a much longer process of canonization. From the first through the fourth centuries and beyond, different church leaders and theologians made arguments about which books belonged in the canon, often casting their opponents as heretics. In that Isaiah 4;1-2 It was God speaking, and verse too highlighted how beautiful it would be in that future. In fact, there was a specific instruction, exclusive one in the Old Test to Kings, yet God made an exception with David. he gave his masters wife to him in addition to his own wives.....and David went on spree. Deuteronomy 17:17 Furthermore, he must not marry many wives lest his affections turn aside, and he must not accumulate much silver and gold. |
Autos / Re: Naira Gain Against The US Dollar: What Will Happen To Greedy Car Dealers? by djseanjohn77: 9:38am On Apr 17 |
Nigerians are just wicked, and greedy. These same people will go to church to give testimony on how God blessed them richly during the travail of Nigerians. If you watch the pattern of increment across imported goods such as cars, electronics...the increment was in tune of above 300% while dollar increase was barely 150% when it peaked. This is to tell you that what we experienced is pure wickedness. Some will use the custom duty as excuse as if it is excluded from the landing cost. If landing cost originally was 2.5 for example, Then the new price should be around 100% or 150% when it peaked for specific rate of dollar at the time of purchase and landing. Meaning it should sell for 5.0 to 6.25, However, because of systemic greed, they would sell for 7 - 8million envisaging that dollar would rise to N2500, so, they plan ahead. But when dollar started dropping, they stayed put with the mindset that they will further maximise profit. I can tell you categorically that, aside the poor masses that has nothing to do with import and export, the rest that has dollar account, live in abroad, import goods....all were subtly happy because the period enriched them. All their cries are artificial....as the dollars plunged against naira, many of them are not happy. 3 Likes 1 Share |

jmoore: That thing called record rainfall is not up to 0.5% what falls in Nigeria. Since it is new to them, and they did not plan their cities around surviving or mitigating flood. Even Burj Khalifa does not have proper sewage system planned into it, sewage tanker has to remove sewage daily otherwise the whole place will be stinking and overflowing. |
Politics / Re: Nigeria’s Dollar Reserves Plunge In Tandem With Naira Rebound by djseanjohn77: 9:02am On Apr 17 |
Penguin2: Some of you are so ignorant. School is not a scam after all. Prices are fixed each year to create benchmark. However, due to the uprise in dollar, while Petrol was fixed at N620, if the government didn't step in to cover the gap as petrol were imported with dollars, the consumers would have been buying petrol litre at over N1,400, so, what the government did, was pay the difference to ease the pain on the masses as a result of dollar fluctuation. What was not touched however was diesel that's why diesel price went up as dollars rose and then fell to N1000 as dollars has reduced. With the inflation then, it was the best thing the government would have done for the masses without their knowledge. Yet, the governors were for the first time after a long time able to share over 2 trillion from the usual 1.2 - 1.4 trillion. That's a plus, and to tell ignorant people like you that, even with the hike in dollar and the difference paid by the government for subsidy, there was no artificial payment for oil not delivered, consumption is accounted for, and marketers didn't short-change the government. |

AbuTwins: The only people on earth that supports blood-shed are still your people, so rest. Isrealis are not even Christian nation, they are Jews. Israel has more muslims than Christians - Muslims are 19%, Christians are less than 2% and the rest are Jews. Even the Palestinian that you cry about have more Christians than Israel, but dumb people like you will never see that, and are quick to attribute religious war to everything. get wisdom, get informed and know that everything is not about religion for everybody, but mankind and what is right. |

JASONjnr: As much as i want to agree with you, have you seen the rate at which the diasporan children are disowning existence of God? It is because the society is programmed like that. The failure of the parent to inculcate the teachings of God like back home. And once a child fails to grow with that basic knowledge of God, it will be difficult for anyone to convince such child later in life, owing to the accessibility of basic amenities of life. Since the African way of telling you God exist is, He can solve your basic life problems. 3 Likes 1 Share |

God1000: Before una open mouth talk, make una dey try make small research and do tentative analysis, don't just depend on what you read or are told. China herself is owing debt - make we rest...No Africa country owes up to what this bigger country owes, yet they complain each time we try to borrow. China: Despite being a massive economy, China’s external debt is relatively low at $2.45 trillion, constituting only 13.55% of its GDP Nigeria's Debt to GDP ratio is 39% Better than all these countries above. if the idea is not to under-develop Africa, why can't they at least give African countries 500 billion loans each to develop their countries massively and pay good salaries. Note: The whole of Africa's 54 countries owes 726.55 billion U.S. dollars only. see the below links for more understanding. https://worlddebtclocks.com/ HIGHEST AFRICA"S DEBT TO GDP RATIO Eritrea: The national debt in this Horn of Africa country stands at 175.1% of the GDP. You should first understand who belongs to Cat A, then take it from there. Cat A enjoys 20hrs of light daily and largely use prepaid voucher. That said, Nigerians waste the insufficient power by allowing their unused gadgets or bulbs run without need. Yet gets no derivation percentage as other states? Allow Lagos keep all the revenue generated within the State and see how other States will cease to exist. The only 2 States in Nigeria that have been generating IGR more than what they receive from Federal government since 2017 is Ogun State and Lagos State. other State basically have been running charity organisation and no nation ever develops like that, that's why they will always wait for Federal govt to pay salaries. The truth is, most of you are dunce, you cannot separate FIR from IGR of States. Federal governments generates revenue from Federal assets in Lagos, the same Lagos that was generating only 600 million in 1999 with 7 M population increased capacity for generation and attracted over 15M people from other states, thereby increasing the IGR of the State from 600M to 45 billion today. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

If you live in any community where indiscipline thrives and the elders keep quiet, they will soon be your greatest undoing. Just like Odi village then, i still remember vividly, while the incessant kllings were going on, the villagers were bragging until one of them leaked the secrets to unveiling their protection charms.... the whole village eventually suffered for it, both old and young. Mostly in the South, parents indulge their criminal kids, unlike North and the West, the boys will definitely leave home to perpetuate their evil outside of their own community. 3 Likes 1 Share |
